Once on the scene he proceeded to check the outlets and determined that the wall switch that controlled the outlets had been turned off inadvertently. Turned the switch on and power restored. Lyndy was here about 15 minutes and would not charge me for the service call. In fact he wouldn't take any money. Most contractors charge you for a service call and travel time. When I spoke with Mike at Harris Electric to ask about pricing (his quote came bake at 2.5k for a simple install), I explained how I measured the wire distance and noted that I had received three other quotes from Tesla-certified/recommended electricians that were all over $1,000 less. Instead of addressing my questions professionally, Mike quickly became argumentative. He repeated the same explanation multiple times without really engaging with my concerns. When I attempted to interject and state that I was no longer interested due to both the cost and the tone of the interaction, he raised his voice, used profanity, and ultimately called me a "f***ing clown." There is no reason for that, and no reason for Mike to speak to me the way that he did. The situation escalated further when he began bringing up religion and pushing Jesus into the conversation despite me clearly indicating I was not interested. I ended the call, but he proceeded to call me back multiple times continuing to argue, repeat himself, and boast about his "good reviews" as if that would change how he treated me. At no point was there any meaningful attempt to handle the situation professionally, aside from a few disingenuous "I'm sorry" comments while continuing to speak to me in the same manner. I have never experienced this level of hostility from a contractor. Based on this interaction, I would strongly advise others to look elsewhere. Especially when there are so many other Tesla-certified electricians in the area who are far more professional. No one should be subjected to profanity, personal insults, or unwanted religious discussion when simply trying to obtain a quote and do business.

The lights they provided, all recessed, are not very expensive and and are very adjustable, from color to being able to aim them to the dimmers we asked for. The price was right. We got 1-2 other proposals and Geo's was not only by far the least expensive, the value was top notch as well. Cheapest is not always best; nor is the most expensive. They came out, the fault seemed to get better after I later replaced the can, but then it came back. They made a second trip for free and did a lot of tightening of the wire nuts and the Romex throughout the circuit feeding all the cans. They also noted the bulbs (LEDs) were running hotter than they should when they first arrived and they seem much cooler now, so there was probably a poor connection that they fixed.
