Rich called and ended up coming earlier than planned. Came in got right to work, knew exactly what he needed to do and did it. He managed to provide a receipt detailing the entire job. Very efficient, knew what he needed to do and prices were more than fair. No mark up on breakers like some electricians want to gouge on replacing (marking up the price) - didn't find that with Rich. You actually talk with the person (Richard) that's will literally be doing the job (NOT A SALES PERSON) - I can't tell you how many times I've hired a company to do work at my house talked with a SALES PERSON that's generally is motivated by mostly by the volume of the sale and weeks later when the company arrives to do the work (not the sales guy obviously) a considerable amount of what he/she sold you on either isn't exactly correct and you realize you were OVER SOLD or things aren't going to work out as they were sold to you and the perfect plan the SALES PERSON laid out on the invoice and you paid for isn't quite going to turn out the way your sales person told you it would and then the nightmare begins lol. I had no prior dealings with the company or its owner but saw its high rating on Yelp. The company installed an outdoor inlet to the circuit box for my portable generator, as well as some new track lighting. We first received an initial oral estimate from a larger electrical installation company on their visit to the house -- but when their written estimate was sent, it was close to double their first estimate. Without knowing about those earlier estimates, Hardball Electric's price was very close to the first--in other words, very fair! In fact, so fair, that my wife insisted that we give Rich a bonus! Both the actual work done and Rich's explanation to us of what he was doing was great and much appreciated. Richard came to my house on time. We discussed my ceiling radiant heat project for quit a while. When we went down into the basement, he told me about an issue that I have in my panel and sub-panel = the issue meant I could not do the electrical upgrade at all.
