Hardball fixed an electrical issue that was caused by me hiring someone from TaskRabbit to install a ceiling fan. They did the job wrong and the wall started buzzing and I could not use the ceiling fan. So I called Hardball, and they fixed the problem promptly, professionally, and for a very reasonable price. They are now my go-to for electrical issues. read more

We have had Richard complete two jobs for us now and both were great! Both times, he communicated well, was on time, charged a reasonable amount, was friendly, and did the job well! He also provided lots of information and expertise for some other potential projects we wanted to do in our house. I'd definitely recommend Hardball Electric! read more

I added some appliances to my woman cave in my unheated basement that overloaded my circuits. Reached out to Rich, who responded right away. We talked over the phone in detail about what I needed done and he also came out to give me an estimate and provided additional advice. He installed a few more circuits and gave me great advice about heating the space properly. He also advised me about my electric fireplace. Now my cave is cozy and a wonderful space to spend time in. Before Rich, I had another electrician come out and I never heard from that guy again. But Rich was a great communicator, very professional and had fair prices. read more

Rich called and ended up coming earlier than planned. Came in got right to work, knew exactly what he needed to do and did it. He managed to provide a receipt detailing the entire job. Very efficient, knew what he needed to do and prices were more than fair. No mark up on breakers like some electricians want to gouge on replacing (marking up the price) - didn't find that with Rich. I even asked for business cards to give neighbors for any electrical repairs they may have. Highly recommend Rich for electrical jobs! read more

Richard was amazing! My human needed rewiring done in the house and initially thought significant work would be needed; however, Richard proposed much less extensive but equally effective solutions to the problem that we had, which ended up saving us significant time and money. He was very knowledgeable, honest, and professional, and clearly was more interested in doing a great job and ensuring value/quality to his clients rather than maximizing his pay. We got the real "family and friends" treatment from start to finish. His pricing was transparent and very reasonable. I wish more contractors were like him! He'll be our go-to person for any future electrical work and we will be recommending him to family and friends (unless they want to book him on the same date my human does!). *Meow* read more

Rich did an amazing job for installing the tesla home charger. Best service and quality

Highly recommend Rich and Hardball Electric! He was prompt, professional, and efficient. He gave us a free quote, confirmed exactly what we needed, and didn't try to sell us things we didn't need or ask for. The quality of his work is impressive, and a great value. The next time I need an electrician, he will be my first call. read more

I had the pleasure of having Richard install my ceiling fan recently and what a breath of fresh air it was to actually have hired someone that: A. You actually talk with the person (Richard) that's will literally be doing the job (NOT A SALES PERSON) - I can't tell you how many times I've hired a company to do work at my house talked with a SALES PERSON that's generally is motivated by mostly by the volume of the sale and weeks later when the company arrives to do the work (not the sales guy obviously) a considerable amount of what he/she sold you on either isn't exactly correct and you realize you were OVER SOLD or things aren't going to work out as they were sold to you and the perfect plan the SALES PERSON laid out on the invoice and you paid for isn't quite going to turn out the way your sales person told you it would and then the nightmare begins lol. B. 100% Quality work at a unbelievable value - I say all of that to say seriously folks THIS IS YOUR GUY, don't hesitate. Thanks a bunch Richard, Frank W read more

I had no prior dealings with the company or its owner but saw its high rating on Yelp. The company installed an outdoor inlet to the circuit box for my portable generator, as well as some new track lighting. We first received an initial oral estimate from a larger electrical installation company on their visit to the house -- but when their written estimate was sent, it was close to double their first estimate. Without knowing about those earlier estimates, Hardball Electric's price was very close to the first--in other words, very fair! In fact, so fair, that my wife insisted that we give Rich a bonus! Both the actual work done and Rich's explanation to us of what he was doing was great and much appreciated. We are engaging him again for a new light fixture installation in one of the bathrooms and some outlet replacements around the house. In short, no hesitation in recommending this company. read more

Rich was amazing. Easy to schedule, budget friendly pricing and excellent, professional service.

Richard was awesome. I created my own problem trying to DIY. He came out next day and fixed the issue plus a couple of other things. He did not make me feel stupid for trying to do a job that was obviously over my head. He was so nice and thorough. He will be the only electrician I will ever call. His prices were more than competitive, and his work is outstanding. read more

Richard came to my house on time. We discussed my ceiling radiant heat project for quit a while. When we went down into the basement, he told me about an issue that I have in my panel and sub-panel = the issue meant I could not do the electrical upgrade at all. We than discussed a Plan B that would be workable in terms of electrical safety. I offered to pay him for some of his time. He said it was all part of his service. THIS GUY IS A GEM!!!! I will definitely use him the next time I need electrical work. Louise in NE Baltimore read more

He was fast. He was good at what he does. He was reasonable and used quality products. Fair pricing for quality. Hard to find these days.

Rich was great, gave an estimate for the job without a fee, and was communicative. He worked with us to find a solution to our issue.

Richard was extremely helpful with a ceiling fan install that required a separate controller for the fan speed and light dimmer. Will definitely call Richard for future electrical work. read more

Richard is an electrical treasure. He provides outstanding service and you can tell he is on your side. I highly recommend him to everyone. He is very reasonable in his prices. I think I would be paying at least double with other companies. He charged for the hour and wanted to do as much as possible during that hour. I will definitely call Hardball electric again! read more

Rich responded to my request ASAP and was able to show up first thing in the morning as promised. My chandelier dropped after someone touched it and I realized it wasn't properly installed. Rich saved the day by repairing the chandelier. He even went above and beyond and looked at the other electrical in the house for us. Got a few of his cards. I am def recommending to as many ppl as I can. read more
