Their prices were better than competitors. The work started on time and was completed as promised. As the work was completed and other issues were discovered as they often are, they were in constant contact and advising on mitigations that were cost effective. The electricians treated my home as their own cleaning behind themselves and making every effort to minimize wall repairs needed based on work required. Incredibly overpriced in my opinion along with other electrician company I contacted. But honestly that wasn't the main issue. This was maybe the most annoying and oddest consultation of my life. From the very beginning I was being very clear that I only wanted my outlets replaced, nothing else. I reiterated this verbally in person. The technician, kept on trying to sell me a membership and additional services. I would say "I just want my outlets fixed" and then he would completely ignore me and go on to sell me about replacing the circuits. This happened over and over again. I would say "please I don't want this service" and then he would just go right back to other services. I actually couldn't believe what was happening. I was incredibly uncomfortable the entire time. For the 4th time, I was again very direct in not wanting any additional work. I literally said "I do not care for anything but the outlets". But he just didn't care and kept going for 15 minutes about working on my panel. Like oh my god, what is happening. It was additionally rude when I told him I was on a time crunch but then he still spent 30-40 mins creating an additional 4 quotes for the work that I insisted I didn't want. They straight up did not care about me and what I wanted. He kept saying I'm the top priority while also completely disregarding what I do not want. If a customer tells you to stop, please stop. I was incredibly upfront with the services that I wanted but this guy was on a mission to charge me $9356. I ultimately didn't continue with this company and reached out to another one who did the work for $300, which was the quote I also received from other electricians in the area. I truly do not know how they justify charging $2807 for only 6 outlets. Listen to the other reviewers. I had the same experience of the worker just looking for upgrades rather than what I called for. He spent nearly 20 minutes analyzing my electrical panels to see where he can charge me additional services after I just told him I only want the outlets. Stop trying to phrase this is for your customers when you blatantly ignore their needs and wants. This was such a weird experience and I lost $89 for the dispatch fee.

I already had 2 switches on the wall already and unfortunately the wall cavity was very tight to add a 3rd horizontally. Luckily they had a solution to keep my current setup and still add the switch. They even added a switch with a night light which was a nice touch and the light only turns on if the lights are off. I also needed a fan box replaced as the old ,probably original 1950s box was not attached properly anymore to the joists. Unfortunately they had to cut into the drywall due to the lack of space available but understandable. Price for the job was reasonable and completed within the day. Asked and received a invoice so that I can properly make the tax deduction later for improvements. Super responsive. Highly recommend.

I especially appreciated the care they took with the job and how clean and professional the finished work looks. When you're dealing with an older system in a home, you never quite know what you're going to run into, but they handled everything well and left me feeling confident about the work that was done. After some initial miscommunications about the job, things didn't quite turn out the way I hoped, but Luis, the company owner came out himself to make sure things were resolved. And even though the scope of the project increased, he insisted on completing the job at the original rate (although I'm not going to let him, because the scope had increased substantially, and that is clearly my own doing). Luis went up and over our garage with EMT to get to the nearby panel. He had to upgrade a breaker to a double pole 60A breaker and also had to update the breaker that goes to the subpanel in the main panel to 100A. Tesla had sent us a bad wall connector the first time around and advised us remotely that the electrical work done was perfect and that all power levels were as expected. Luis insisted on coming out himself anyhow to double check everything even though I assured him it was Teslas wall connector. Sure enough the wiring was perfect and when the new wall connector arrived I popped it on and everything worked like magic.

I wanted to get an EV charger installed for my parents who live at a townhome without a garage. I…read moreknew that VA's Right to Charge law allows any resident to install an EV charger and after reaching out to the HOA, I found out that a neighbor in the same HOA had an EV charger installed a few years ago. The neighbor told me he got his installed by HavePower and so I reached out to them along with a handful of other companies. After several email correspondences, I eventually decided to go with HavePower. Although it was not a simple process to get the HOA's approval, Jason was extremely patient and helpful in getting all of the paperwork for the approval. I myself was not present during the installation, but my parents were around to observe the whole process. The installation started at 6am and finished around 5pm. According to them, HavePower did an amazing job and my parents found them reliable. The end product is exactly what we were hoping for, and the charger works flawlessly. My parents couldn't be any happier! All in all, I highly recommend HavePower for EV charger installations. Even if you live at a place without a garage, HavePower will do a impeccable job. And if you do have a garage, I'm sure they will get it done even more quickly!
