Incredibly overpriced in my opinion along with other electrician company I contacted. But honestly that wasn't the main issue. This was maybe the most annoying and oddest consultation of my life. From the very beginning I was being very clear that I only wanted my outlets replaced, nothing else. I reiterated this verbally in person. The technician, kept on trying to sell me a membership and additional services. I would say "I just want my outlets fixed" and then he would completely ignore me and go on to sell me about replacing the circuits. This happened over and over again. I would say "please I don't want this service" and then he would just go right back to other services. I actually couldn't believe what was happening. I was incredibly uncomfortable the entire time. For the 4th time, I was again very direct in not wanting any additional work. I literally said "I do not care for anything but the outlets". But he just didn't care and kept going for 15 minutes about working on my panel. Like oh my god, what is happening. It was additionally rude when I told him I was on a time crunch but then he still spent 30-40 mins creating an additional 4 quotes for the work that I insisted I didn't want. They straight up did not care about me and what I wanted. He kept saying I'm the top priority while also completely disregarding what I do not want. If a customer tells you to stop, please stop. I was incredibly upfront with the services that I wanted but this guy was on a mission to charge me $9356. I ultimately didn't continue with this company and reached out to another one who did the work for $300, which was the quote I also received from other electricians in the area. I truly do not know how they justify charging $2807 for only 6 outlets. Listen to the other reviewers. I had the same experience of the worker just looking for upgrades rather than what I called for. He spent nearly 20 minutes analyzing my electrical panels to see where he can charge me additional services after I just told him I only want the outlets. Stop trying to phrase this is for your customers when you blatantly ignore their needs and wants. This was such a weird experience and I lost $89 for the dispatch fee.

Initially we received a quote from Buddy that came in lower than some competitors. Apparently our…read moreresearch took too long because when we were ready the project cost increased due to "high demand, material costs". We agreed to a new cost and Buddy came by to help us pick a color, sign the contract and collect the deposit. Next, we waited for the materials to be delivered. In the company's understanding it would take a couple weeks because of the high demand. Meanwhile my husband and I started another project in our back yard. Randomly, William (Bill) sent us an email to say our materials "came early" and will be delivered in a day or two. I called Bill who seemed pretty nice and responsive- advised him of the project already taking place and he believed his workers will be in and out the way. Six (6) pallets were delivered. As mentioned his workers came on time, and got to work. They knew what they were doing and worked extremely hard. So hard that they damaged the grass on our property line (issue 1). Day 2 into the job, the Foreman Temoc, drops in and loads 2 pallets worth of pavers into his black Ford 150. The workers are meanwhile still laying pavers, the job is NOT DONE! I rushed out and approached Temoc and tell him I need 50 bricks (of the material I paid for) to do garden edging. His response was "you only paid for half the pallet". He directs me to the trash area where the broken and cut brick laid (issue 2). I contact Bill and he says "I'll see if I can send Temoc back with some pavers". End of day nothing was resolved. Temoc returns twice to collect other materials and his workers. The next day I called Bill and ask them to delay laying the sod (for 1 day) as it affects my other backyard project. Bill was very rude on the phone, not only instructing me to advise the other project workers what to do but also quick to tell me "No, it's not possible". Despite my request the sod was laid later that evening. I request the Foreman Temoc to cover the areas of damage on the property line and he rejected and puts down grass seed. Minutes later the workers take two loads of sod to my neighbors home (5 homes away) for a different business transaction (mind you this is within sight). When I asked Temoc about it - he said "it was left over sod, no good". (Issue 3). Instead of them to place the sod in an area damaged by the workers they used the materials I paid for to make more money. Finally, the last day Bill came to collect the final payment. Dave and Bill attempted to resolve the damage on the property line by laying down grass seed and top soil. I ask again about the pavers and in his very poor behavior he incited "raw material is returned to their space, giving you back some pavers is a fifty/fifty chance". Bill did not attempt to resolve any problems, he later sends an email stating "I just spoke with Temoc And he has already returned the extra pavers so we will not be able to drop off any unused pavers to you at this time, however we have two upcoming patio jobs and I will try to grab a few extra pavers off of those upcoming jobs if they are the same pavers." In this email this "president" actually explains he may use the pavers from a different project (meaning prepaid by another customer) and bring it to me. At the end, I have a job that looks good - it is what we wanted. But I feel swindled by their business practices. Not only are Bill and Temoc poor professionals, but they are open about using the materials prepaid by one person to make additional or side funds. During the project I was very clear in my issues and each request was met with a poor attitude and nothing resolved. For this I give the company 2 stars: Buddy and the hard workers. I do not recommend them to others and I will not use them for future jobs. To those who may consider the business still: 1. Ask for an itemized bill before signing the contract. This will help you understand what you're actually paying for in materials and labor. This will not be provided upfront. 2. Enjoy the good customer service provided by Buddy. I hope you receive the same from the young men on the other end. 3. The business is pretty responsive so if possible get the conversations in writing. Good luck.

I was extremely impressed with the customer service that I received from Anthony's Electric. I have been trying for the last week to get quotes from several companies in order to change my light bulbs in my high kitchen ceiling. I heard several excuses such as I would have to pay an estimation cost, they are too busy right now or just no call backs at all and this was very frustrating. When I contacted Anthony, I was shocked at how fast he responded to my text message requesting a quote. Also, the price that he quoted me was fair and reasonable. He also gave me a suggestion on how to do it myself at a cheaper cost. After realizing that I had everything that I needed to do it I thought that I would give it a try myself. He was more than willing to help me in any way that he could. I was actually surprised at how easy it was to do it myself but I also had the comfort of knowing that if it didn't work that he was available to help me. It's obvious that he's not trying to get over and that means a lot. Due to his friendly and honest personality I will definitely use him in the future for all my electrical issues. I got 4 estimates and Anthony was 10-40% below the others. I imagine that's why he can be a bit busy, especially since it is just him, so in some cases he might be slow to respond (as another reviewer noted). It took him 7 days from the time I let him know that I wanted him to do the work, until he could get to it. Which was no problem for me. The price was right, communication was good, he did not waste my time by asking me to provide lots of detailed information and multiple photos (like one other place, who then gave me the highest estimate). He showed up when he said he would (well, 30 minutes late, but he let me know he was running late). He was all business and finished in about two hours. The work (installing a new 240v 40 amp circuit and outdoor outlet for a car charger) looks great. Cleaned up after himself. Maybe the best part is that he installed a higher capacity wire, capable of handling 60 amps, than he originally priced out, "just in case you ever buy a car that needs more power", without being asked. He just told me he did it when he finished. I thought that was pretty amazing. I'll contact him if I ever need more work. read more

I just want to thank Anthony for doing a great job hanging a new ceiling fan for me. The job was not big or complicated as electricians go. But, when a previous contractor did not show up for his appointment to hang it, I called Anthony's Electric in a bit of desperation. Although he had a larger job going the same day, many hours away, he committed to doing mine at the last minute. He arrived when he said he would, expertly hung my new fan, and did a couple more really minor projects while he was there. He gave me a very fair bill and turned me into a long-term customer. As a realtor in the DMV, I am routinely asked by current and prospective clients about expert, dependable contractors. Definitely my go to company for all things electrical! We needed an upgrade to our electrical panel and get new lighting and plugs installed throughout the house. Anthony's Electric delivered above and beyond. The quality was great and everything was done quickly and correctly the first time with no rework needed. He was very flexible and even took time fix and repair last minute requests. I originally wanted a simple light fixture installed in my living room but later wanted a ceiling fan instead. Anthony is the best. We hired him to install a Ring doorbell and to hardwire a Ring alarm keypad. We did not have an existing doorbell so he needed to install a transformer as well. I asked for a quote on Yelp on Sunday afternoon. Monday morning, Labor Day, Anthony showed up not to give a quote but to do the actual work. He came the day after I contacted him, measured, cut and installed a piece of wood which he secured to joists in the ceiling with a brand new light box. The light is flesh against the ceiling now and very secure. Brian was also great to text regarding the issue before even hiring. He explained what was happening and possible resolutions I could try, but ultimately the drywall was breaking and I didn't want to risk further damage. The work itself took over an hour to complete and it cost less than $200. I won't ever have to worry about the stability of my light box should I choose to change it in the future. Moonlight Electrical, Brian, will be my go-to in all future electrical work.

From the beginning of our interaction through messages on Yelp, Julian was professional and down to earth. His gave me a free quote via Facetime. We discussed putting up a Ring Floodlight in my driveway. His prices are more than fair. Other companies were charging some outrageous prices for the same amount of work. When he arrived he got straight to work, and you could tell he knew exactly what he was doing. I couldn't be happier with how everything came out. I even asked him to fix a outlet in my home for me on short notice and he was able to do it. He even put up with my crazy family watching him do his work and my kids running around the house. If you need an electrician, you really don't need to look anywhere else. I'll definitely be hiring him for any of my electrical needs in the future. I spoke with him after the work was completed to find out he owned the business and that it was just him and two other electricians. It makes me feel good to know I'm supporting a small local business. Bonus points: We share the same name!
