They did wallpaper for us, but it wasn't primed properly so it's already gaping a year later. The wallpaper was installed such that the flowers don't line up, so it wasn't done properly. read more

Please please please hire them for your next project! They are very honest and professional. We appreciated how they wanted to do what's best for us to keep the problems from coming back. Our ceiling on the first floor had severe water damage from a leaky shower upstairs. They sealed our shower and replaced the damaged drywall. The ceiling looks better than it did when we bought the house lol! They even used some scrap pieces to patch up a mouse hole in our kitchen. Going the extra mile is always appreciated! You just can't beat their prices! As a young couple, we have been ripped off by other guys who know we don't have much life experience to know how much things cost. Thank you guys for the honesty!!!! Communication was spotty at times, but it probably was the fact that they were communicating with me on this app but had my husband's phone number. Things just got lost in the shuffle. Thankfully, we didn't have plans so I was home all weekend for when they did come by. read more

DO NOT recommend. Responsive in the beginning to bait you and unresponsive and irresponsible after you pay. You are on your own if any issues arise. I rarely leave negative reviews but this was well-deserved. I hired their services for 3 small jobs and was quoted $350. One of the jobs, fixing a light fixture was not done properly so I had reached out to them to schedule a time to try to fix the lighting issue again. They scheduled me a time and the night before, I reached out to confirm that they were still coming and I don't get a response all day. They knew that it was a rental property where my tenant had to take off work to be home for the repair. The next morning, I reached out again and told them I would leave a bad review since it's bad business. They responded with some excuse saying that they were hurt on the job and could not respond all day? At this point I just want the light fixture to be fixed so we schedule another time for the handyman Ron to come out. Again, completely disregarding my tenant's work schedule, Ron is over an hour late and instead of giving me a call as I had asked to discuss if any issues, he did something out of the scope of work I hired him to do and called if a day. The light fixture is still flickering and instead of asking me what I wanted done, he goes and installs a new light switch??? I ask for a refund and this is their response. After ignoring me for HOURS. read more

We called Finish-Line Services for a clogged kitchen sink. We were able to get an rough estimate immediately for the service that was needed. However, on appointment day, there was a severe lack of communication. I had to call multiple times for updates and was very unsatisfied with the information that was I was given (or lack of information I should say). The clog was not fixed, and we were still charged as if the issue was address. When calling to discuss the pay; he became very aggressive and unpleasant. Do not recommend, unfortunately. I called another plumber and he was able to fix the issue no problem. read more

Great work, timely, and within budget. Ron did a dry wall repair and was able to get it done in less than a half day. read more

We needed a cover placed outside the house 30 feet up on a 30 degree slope. We requested a quote from 5 people. We went with Karlon. He was responsive, got the job done quickly, and did a great job. read more

This review is very long overdue. Finish Line Services is the best; great customer service, reasonable prices and reliable! I needed work done in just about every area of my property in December '21. I contacted at least 3 companies to get quotes. All the others offered grossly inflated estimates with timeframes that didn't work for me. Karlon offered to come look at the job on the way from another the following evening. He and his team were hired and got started within 2 days. The work they did was pristine and if they uncovered items in need of attention as the job progressed, they were immediately brought to my attention (I like to tackle issues as they come up), we came up with a manageable plan to fix them during the current job. This is hands down my go-to Contractor/ Handyman team in the DMV area! read more

Provided timely and great service for a project that another company was supposed to complete. Very professional and pleasant.

Karlon and team did an amazing job! He screened in my porch and did a number of small repairs and improvements. He was great to work with - knowledgeable, friendly and very diligent. He also was flexible and fit me into his schedule on the weekend and worked late into the evening to get the work done. read more

Yes, I highly recommend Finish-Line services! They are responsive, reasonably priced, and do excellent work. They came out the same week and replaced the rotten wood in my bay window, painted that along with the frames, and replaced my window screens. read more

Karlon & Steven did a fantastic job installing a cabinet and range hood in a tricky space. They make it look great & the job was very professionally done. I will definitely hire Finish-Line Services again for other projects. Can't recommend them highly enough. read more

I would not recommend simply based on their customer service. Simply attempting to decipher whether they could do the service and setting up a time took about a week before they kindly told me to move on because I requested for them to finally tell me definitively whether they would take the job and to set up an appointment. They act like they don't need the money, so go spend it somewhere else. read more

Totally useless. Gave me an appointment via emails to have a look and give me a quote. When he didn't show up, I telephoned and turned out I woke him up. Very flaky! There are lots of other contractors out there - do not waste your time on this guy. read more

The Finish Line Services team did a great job installing ceiling fans at my home. They were quick and responsive, doing the estimate and the install on the same day! Would definitely recommend! read more

We hired Karlon and team for a large outdoor playset assembly. They were very reliable and great to work with.

I had 3 projects but they were only able to complete one. Though they did try and the complexity of the job I understand was more than they thought, even with the pics I provided. I would say narrow them down to an inperson estimate first, as to avoid any confusion or wasted time regarding the gig. Overall good guys, just dont go off their email evaluation get an inperson estimate. read more

Pleasure to deal with. They were able to come shortly after first contact. On the day of the job they arrived on time and completed job in a timely manner. They also cleaned up leaving no mess. Would definitely use again. Highly recommend. read more

Karlon and team are very communicative. They do great work at a reasonable price. Karlon is on time and works hard to get the job done as requested. He has fixed numerous small issues with a house we are trying to sell. So far, it has been a great experience working with him. He has fixed a door that was not closing properly, installed new dome lights, a chandelier, cleaned a light housing, etc. read more

Karlon was easy to work with and reasonably priced, and he did great work, super fast!

These folks never even gave me a total price. The owner seemed like he was angry with me because I didn't give him carte blanch to work around my home without giving me the actual price. I asked him several times for the information, t read more

Did a great job on my deck power washing and staining it. Would use again. Thanks for the prompt work

They were on time and worked hard to solve the idiosyncrasies of our projects. Great job!

Karlon was the BEST! We desperately needed help with a variety of jobs throughout our condo. He was all the great things: early, efficient, personable, and provided some amazing work for our variety of fixer-upper requests. We will definitely call him next time we need help and enthusiastically recommend him to anyone who needs a bit of help around the house or garden! read more

Karlon and his team did a great job. Punctual, accommodating, quality work. The only thing I could downrate them for was that they didn't vacuum up after themselves, but that is a minor point. read more

I'm selling my house and needed a door cut and hung in time for the photographer to take pictures. I had called multiple services that said they responded right away but couldn't get a call back. Then I found Finish-Line Services. Finish-Line answered right away and Stoby was able to find the time come out and cut the door and and hang it only days later. He was extremely polite and respectful the entire time as well. I highly recommend this service for anything you need help with or simply don't have the tools for. read more
