    The Wood Fired Supreme Pizza
L.S. Myrtle Beach For Me F.

This place is Italy Good! We passed by and noticed Nevado's Pizza place. So, we decided to try some of their food. We ordered for the first time a pizza, a house salad and a stromboli to go. We were very happy with all of the service, the staff is so friendly, the establishment is very cute and clean. The food was awesome. The gravy is very thick and tasty. The wood fired Pizza was cooked perfectly and had generous toppings. The Italian meat Stromboli dough was light and cooked to perfection. The meats have a great smokey flavor and the mozzarella cheese was melted inside with fresh sliced tomato's inside ( a very nice touch) and they gave us sauce on the side. We have not found a place this good in a very long time. Definitely 5 Stars! Thank you for the delicious options. We will be coming back again.

We get pizza here either every week or every other. The pizza is the best pizza around in my opinion. Service is great. As soon as I went in the girl already knew what I was there for. Lol Husband went out of town so I was able to get whatever I wanted so I got the BIANCO PIZZA & it was so dang good it's dangerous. I literally ate 1/2 in one sitting & I can't wait to have more of it. I will definitely be getting it again even when hubby is home & he won't have a hand if he touches it.

Had carry out pizza and it was very good. I don't care for the sliced sausage but otherwise delicious. Went for dinner the other night and had spaghetti and meatballs. The meatballs were very tender and also delicious. My dad had the vodka penne and the sauce was very very good. Mom had a large bowl of pasta fagioli and she said it was very good. This is a nice little restaurant and the service was great. Look forward to visiting again. So happy it's so close to me.

My husband and I return there for our second time Only this time we had a pickup order ( lasagna & Chicken Alfredo) The staff are all so friendly. When we got our food home it was perfect. I've noticed a lot of times when you don't eat in a restaurant the food isn't that great, it always seems like it's just thrown together. Our meals looked and tasted as good as the ones that we had our first time going there .They really seem to take pride in their restaurant and quality of their food. I highly recommend Nevado's. We definitely will be returning customers. #picswerefromourfirstvisit.

This hidden gem is worth driving past the other pizza place on 90. There was plenty of courteous staff on a Friday night. I only had a pizza since it was my first time but it was a very nice thin wood fired pizza. They were nicely busy as well with sit down and take out customers. Take a trip over and support a local family business. Too many restaurants come and go here so help keep a good one.

Best chicken wings in Myrtle Beach/Conway. Pizza is also amazing and definitely try out their mozzarella sticks. Is fairly pricey though.

This is the closest to NY style pizza we have had in this area! The brick oven gives the crust a wonderful crunch!

This evening was a very good experience, mostly. Let's get the less than positive out of the way. We made reservations for 5PM. We were out and about and got there about a half an hour early. Walk in, spoke with the hostess and explained we knew we were early. (By the way, there were very few people in the restaurant at the time). The Hostess, an older female with longish greying hair, huffed then showed us to a table. She at least took us to an outside table as we requested. She never identified herself. And honestly we felt as if we were bothering her. Ok, enough of that. Now the positive. Our server was Taylor. This young man was awesome. He was upbeat and personable. Very pleasant and wanted to communicate, not just serve us. My wife and I asked for water, and ordered an appetizer of their Mac and Cheese balls. They were awesome. Hot, fresh, stuffed with pasta and warm flavorful cheese. Next we ordered cocktails. My wife ordered a Painkiller. Me an Old Fashion. Taylor recommended I try their version, New Fashion. Made with their mix of a house Bourbon. Man it was good. And the Painkiller? Let's just saw I held my wife hand, and guided her to our vehicle. For our main courses, my wife had the chicken and sausage pasta. I had the Bison Ribeye. Both we would order again without hesitation. The pasta dish was huge. With two breasts and numerous pieces of sausage. Over Fettuccini style pasta, with a lite and flavorful red sauce. It tasted fresh, and rich. She could only eat about a third of it. The rest came home. I ordered my Bison medium rare. The Chef hit it perfectly. Beautiful red meat in the center, nice and warm. So much flavor, and tender. With it I had the potato of the day. They were mashed with the skin. Full of butter, milk, and seasoned. In addition I had a side of creamed spinach. Very rich and deep. The cream tasted similar to a cheese sauce. So good. I brought nothing home. Finished the entire meal there. In addition, because it was our anniversary, the gave us a very nice card. And a piece of cake for dessert. Champaign was offered, but neither of us drink it, and didn't want to waste it. If you haven't tried Crooked Oak Tavern, you are missing a very nice experience.

The host very kindly escorted me there & what a great surprise! The Tap Room host, Joanne, saw me looking a bit lost & greeted me. I didn't want to take a whole table as I was just there for a cocktail. Joanne suggested one of the leather lounge chairs & got me settled. She made me feel very comfortable. I'm old school enough that as a woman I felt awkward being in an unfamiliar town in a bar full of strangers. Joanne reassured me & checked on me throughout the evening. I had a fabulous Old Fashion, enjoyed the multiple TV's & ended up conversing & laughing with a whole family who were also visiting. All around, a great experience that all started with Joanne taking me under her wing & making me feel comfortable. I will definitely go back the next time I'm in Conway!

The place is comfy, without being oversized. The staff is upbeat and very pleasant. We arrived for a late lunch, early dinner. No I do not remember our Server's name, but I'm sure that is my fault for not concentrating when she told us. But I do remember she was a tall thin build lady, with very dark long hair. (Hope this helps). She understands service, and how to take care of her customers in the extreme heat. As she approached our table, she already had two glasses of ice water. . We placed our drink order. Now remember this place is a Brewery and Pub. So they did not carry a full line bar. But they have all of the basics. So the wife got her Rum with Pineapple. And I had their Citra Ass Down IPA. Both were tasty. The beer had a mild citrus flavor but not overwhelming. While perusing the menu, the wife saw they had a fresh pretzel, and she was sold. Something about a hot salted pretzel that just makes her happy. It came with a beer cheese dip, and a mustard dip. Do yourself a favor. Ask for a second mustard dip. That stuff is addictive. For our main course, she had the wings. BBQ sauces with Ranch. I had the Chicken Shrimp Po Boy with their in-house chips. We would order both again. The wings were large, juicy, and had the right amount of sauce. I would say closer to a glaze on them. My Po Boy was full of well seasoned meat. And had very fresh greens on it. And a nice sauce the complimented, the meat. It didn't cover or overpower. In addition, I am not a toasted roll person. Our Server let the Chef know, and they did not toast my bread. (You'd be surprised how many times I have asked that my bread not be toasted. And how many get it wrong) And to top a really good experience, the owner (a Marine) came out and talked with us for a few minutes. We aren't special. Just a couple of middle aged semi-retired dog lovers. But he took the time to come out and have a conversation. Not just check on his people or business. If you are at Broadway At The Beach, and want something non chain and different. Give this place a try. We will be returning.

We saw behind us they do a thing where it's first responder, military, or medical field that forward a drink to someone. We then ordered our food. My wife ordered the pickle pizza, fried pickles and I got the black and blue burger. The pickle pizza was ok. Nothing to write home about. The fried pickles were good. The burger was good. With bacon and blue cheese. Food was decent. The place then got busy and the service got worse. Overall a 3.5. Price was expensive as well.
