A terrific lunch! We were visiting CCU and wanted to grab lunch. Yelp reviews suggested this would be a good place, and they were wrong. This was a great place! Groucho's is located on a side street just off the main drag. There's street parking in front and a large public lot just across the street. Inside, there are plenty of tables. 10/10 this place is amazing, I loved the ham and swiss. Huge shoutout to Amari (so sorry if I spelled that wrong) for making us sandwiches with just 5 minutes before the store closed. I just had surgery a few months ago so I have to eat as soon as possible so that my blood sugar doesn't drop, we couldn't find any food because it was super busy in town and cold outside. While I can't speak to the restaurant's interior because this was an Uber eats order, I can say the food was pretty good! I got the chicken wrap (forget it's exact name) and it came with pretzels. Literally couldn't bother taking a picture before digging in; the food was amazing. I got the white moose and my friend got the BLC; the sauces were amazing, and I'm not really a sauce guy. Ambience was really nice, located in downtown Conway so pretty lively! Nice penny top counter and all the little history snippets are so interesting. Service was impeccable, they had one server with the cashier helping out and even then we were promptly served and check up on. For the price, you really can't beat it. BLUF: it's okay, but nothing special. Three of us went for lunch on a weekday. The place is kind of run down. A relatively simple menu. We got two meat sub sandwiches and a Caprese sandwich. The caprese sandwich didn't have any basil on it, despite the description saying it would. A Caprese sandwich without basil is basically just a tomato and cheese sandwich. When we pointed this out they said they were out of Basil. Which makes me wonder why they couldn't have said that when the order was placed instead of after bringing it to the table. The two sandwiches were supposed to be served warm. The outside was warm, but the inside of both was cold. It seemed like they heated them just long enough to melt the cheese on top but not to warm the entire sandwich. The pickle spear that came with each sandwich was nice and crisp and tasty. Sandwiches come with a side of their house sauce which is basically just a heavily seasoned Thousand Island dressing. Was it bad? No. I just expected more from a place that had good reviews. I wouldn't go out of my way to go back. read more

My wife loves the salad bowl that's made for her "My wife's salad bowl" I doubted the menu saying it's a meal itself. It really is a YUUGGEEE salad. Great deli down in Dtown Conway. My husband and I stopped before crossing the river back to 544 and home. We parked at the curb in front and went in. Our server was so nice. He recommended the rubin sandwich, so we both got that. It was very good. They serve with a bag of Groucho's chips. Prices were reasonable. Service was quick. Sandwich was good. I had a little problem finding the cheese on my sandwich though. Well, she knew what salad I wanted but messed up the details AND the receipt showed exactly what I ordered. She interrupted me nonstop on the phone, blew me off, never apologized and hung up on me because, according to her, she had three other problems. So my problem wasn't important but the other three were. I said I was contacting corporate and she rattled off the spelling of her name. So arrogant and cocky. I won't be caught dead at this place for the rest of my life, or any of their other locations. Whoever put this maniac in charge of interacting with customers, needs an evaluation.

This review won't show in Google, so I will add it here. This trip started out asking my wife where she wanted to eat. She said Groucho's, for their pastrami Rueben. So we left Little River and headed out on a 45 minute country trip to Conway. The trip, worth it. The Rueben Variation sandwich, probably the best between here and New York. She had hers with the herb slaw, and I had mine with the kraut. Perfect. Comes with chips, a pickle, and dipping sauce that is out of this world. We ordered a couple soft drinks, only to finish it up with brownies, and a couple surprise chocolate chip cookies! All sounds great right?! Wasn't just the great food. Miss Avery, our server, could NOT have been any kinder, any more sweet, any more of a great representative of Groucho's Deli. It was if we were family coming in for a meal. It's 2023. This world is seeing some bad times. It is a beautiful thing to go out for lunch, and be met with someone who has sunshine in their Soul. Was the food great? 10 out of 10. Miss Avery though, absolutely priceless. So if you're within an hour of Conway, take a trip to Groucho's Deli. Well worth the time! read more

Great food. Great service. Great atmosphere. This is my favorite sandwich shop, period! But to top it off, I've recently ordered their "My Wife's Salad". Unbelievable! It's truly two meals in one.
