Came here AGAIN today because apparently the Berry Banana Burst has become part of my weekly identity. As always, it was absolutely immaculate, but then Irene appeared with a savory, absolute delicioso Waffacado, and suddenly my life changed. The protein waffles were so powerful I could physically feel my muscles becoming denser, stronger, and perhaps even structurally superior with every bite. The avocado? Creamy. The waffle? Divine. The presentation? So beautiful it should honestly be displayed next to the Mona Lisa at the Louvre. Irene isn't JUST an ordinary worker at Nékter. She creates culinary experiences. Her cooking deserves not one, not three, but five Michelin stars. Her cooking is quite literally off the charts!! Three stars simply cannot encapsulate the unparalleled gastronomic magnificence of her creations. I came here on Labor Day with my wife. We were the only two people in the restaurant during the lunch hour. We ordered to bowls and waited. It took exactly 12 minutes to get our orders. We started to eat them immediately and they were runny. Like soup. I don't know if that is the style of this restaurant, but it wasn't what I was expecting. I always love this location when I'm in the area. It's always quick and the team is always patient with my slow ordering when I have menu overload. What a horrible experience. Do the owners even care? Don't think so. Place is run down. Dirty and in need of all kinds of repair. The staff are just kids and can't be at mad at them when they have no direction or training with management. Waiting here now 25 + mins for a shake. Unacceptable! . Poor kids don't even know how to issue a refund something I find very annoying and a ploy on part of the management or owner to avoid refunds for horrible or long service. Shake was crap. Food: Their drinks have good ingredients like every other location. This location has had a very tough time with consistency. I have been several times and this most recent experience I ordered a pair Peanut Butter Chocolate Protein Smoothie. One of the drinks included strawberries and the other did not. I physically watched someone pour my two drinks from the same blender and when I asked which had strawberries, they randomly picked one and stated it had strawberries instead of admitting to their mistake. Needless to say, I've never had an order taste the same in the countless times I've been to this location specifically. Service: The majority of the time, I've not been greeted or asked if I needed help upon entering even when I was the only person in the store. Ambiance: The place is generally clean and has an upscale vibe to it. They have two sets of giant Jenga blocks for those that want to hang around and plenty of outdoor seating as well. They have cleaned at really random times throughout the day and I have noticed a few times that it straight up smells like cleaning chemicals. Glad to know they clean and most likely bad timing on my part. Plenty of parking in the plaza. If they have any good deals, I guess it's worth a visit, but not my preferred Nektar location. read more

I quickly came by just to grab a drink with my friend. There was only what three or four people in front of us. Two employees were on break and then there's a girl who left my friends drink there and it was so watery and it wasn't even tasty and it took 20 minutes to do our drink when there wasn't even a big crowd. This is fucking ridiculous. You making a smoothie does not take 20 minutes and a lame as excuse. I will never come back here again. The service was horrible. It was not very welcoming. The drinks were okay, but when I peered over to their work area, I could see large cardboard boxes blocking their own path of travel and creating a fire hazard. The bathroom was filthy; there was urine and feces on the seat, the foot pedal on the trash can was facing the wrong direction and the air freshener looked like it hasn't been replaced in years. A good spot for healthier smoothies in Woodbury Town Center. This location is cleaned often, but the strong scent of bleach is a little bit off-putting when you enter. When we went in, both workers had headphones in and didn't acknowledge us until we went up to the counter. The menu items are healthy and have very good quality ingredients, but it is on the more expensive side. I've ordered the same smoothie a couple of times and it's fairly inconsistent with the ingredients based on taste. There was also an animal hair about the size of a thumbnail inside of my cup once I opened the lid. read more

There was two people working at the front. This girl came up to me and took my order, talked to me with an attitude and told me where to pay with a tone, even though I can clearly see where to pay! My drink was taking so long to be made that I decided to pick up the pickle snacks to buy. The guy took even longer trying to find where it is on the system to the point where I had to put it back because my drink was already ready. Mind you I know the system that they're using clearly he's new so I tried helping him by telling him "You can also search it up on the system" he ignored me the two times when I told him politely. Absolutely ridiculous experience at Nektar at Woodbury in Irvine on August 10th at 2:45 I ordered online and my order was incorrect. Unfortunately there is no support for this online outside is email. I called the store to ask if they could do anything about it. When I was informed that they couldn't look up the order the worker on the phone seem to not know what to do (nor how to mute or unmute the phone) and hung up. When I called back she repeated she could not look up the order (while asking her coworker the answer to my questions). They said they cannot issue a refund and to contact support on the website. If I hadn't spent the additional money on these add ons I would just consider it a wash. A truly unfortunate experience. read more
