The staff was friendly and helpful, and they offered sample cups so you could try different flavors before choosing. I also like that they switch up some of the flavors from time to time while still keeping favorites like plain tart and chocolate. I've never had yogurtland before, and it is amazing! I love the texture and that it's not as sweet as ice cream. They have a variety of flavors but highly recommend mango and pistachio. They also have a lot of toppings and recommend the mochi. It's all self service and pay by the ounce. It gets super busy, and there's no place to sit inside, so be prepared to eat outside or bring it home. There are a few seats outside, and there's several free parking lots near it since it's part of the marketplace. So when I heard they were releasing a super tart flavor for their 20th anniversary, I had to try it! I got both plain tart and super tart to compare the flavors, and the super tart is definitely more sour, closer to the flavor of Greek yogurt. As someone who likes tart desserts, I thought it was a great new flavor! Service was great and we were able to ask for sample cups to try different flavors. YogurtLand is really good, and my favorite flavors are usually all the fruity flavors. The mochi topping is my favorite part of the frozen yogurt, as it's just mini mochis, and it's really pretty and cute. (Instagram worthy for those who post on Instagram) They do make you pay by weigh, so only get flavors that you know don't go wrong, or just try a little of everything. I don't suggest gummies on the ice cream, as they do get very VERY hard, and it's not even edible at that point. The texture is also really great, and it's not as sweet as regular ice cream. I also don't suggest too much toppings, because you then won't taste any of the ice cream. It does get crowded near night since people go for dessert, so go during morning or afternoon. I had a sample cup, but then a short guy in a pac man shirt with curly dark hair came over and demanded I had to pay for it. I was confused cause I thought samples were free. He tried to make me go to the register, but after seeing I wouldn't follow him, he told me I can't have any yogurt and had a huge attitude. I left the store without getting to buy an actual cup like I was planning. On my way out, I saw the same guy yelling at a young boy who also had a sample cup. His parents were standing next to him looking confused and embarrassed. I hope that boy and his family didn't get forced into paying for a free sample. I'd highly recommend you avoid this location. I was very shaken by this experience, and I'll stick to other Yogurtland locations from now on. This place is like heaven for my child. I like this location as it is close to my home, and they carry all of the flavors my kid and i enjoy (I believe they have more of a selection than the other locations I've been to). The shop is always clean, and the machines seem to be probably maintained. I have been to froyo spots where the machines malfunction, and my kid gets sad when she can't get the flavor she wants. It hasn't happened here! Anyhow, it's always a pleasant experience coming here as the froyo is good, but the service staff is also really kind and sweet to my kid. They always throw in some stickers and little fun bits and bobs in our bags which makes the day a bit brighter. We will definitely be back. read more

We stopped by Yogurtland tonight after having dinner next door at the sushi bar. Before coming inside, my husband, my son, and I were outside playing catch with his plush toy. When we walked in, my son and I were coughing. My son experiences cough attacks after running that are completely out of his control. He was not sick. The employee working tonight immediately began shaking his head, walked away, and put on a mask. While I understand the importance of protecting oneself from illness, the way this was handled was extremely uncomfortable and inappropriate. After I kindly explained that my son was not sick, the employee began bringing out disinfecting wipes. This made us feel embarrassed and judged. Being treated this way, especially in front of others, was hurtful and unnecessary. Families dealing with medical conditions should not be made to feel ashamed for something beyond their control. How many other people walk in every day that an employee has no way of knowing whether they are sick or not? Singling out one family based on assumptions was unnecessary and unprofessional. This experience was unacceptable, and unfortunately, we will not be returning. read more

I have been on a froyo wave lately for reasons I can't explain lately. I have vistes this location in the Tustin Market Place several times over the past few months which I surprising considering I never really cared for froyo before. I typically get cheesecake froyo and maybe some strawberry if I'm feeling dangerous. I then top it with some combination of reeses or oreo and always always always sour gummy worms. Sour gummy worms on their own are just okay but when I toss them into my froyo cup I revert to my 8 year old self and I can't get enough. I always get the smaller cup so I don't feel tempted to go overboard. The froyo is tasty and not too sweet which I enjoy. The inside is fairly small with only a couple tables inside. This Yogurtland is in the Tustin Market Place. There is a nice area to enjoy your foods and deserts and for your kids to run around. If you have the Retail Therapy app, you can buy BOGO half price for 2nd one if you buy a water or banana. The banana is only $1 so I recommend getting that to fulfill the BOGO deal. You can ask for sample cups. There are some flavors that are seasonal and unfortunately disappear. But Plain tart is usually there and is always very good. read more

On my way out to retrieve it, the employee abruptly stopped helping another customer and loudly accused me in front of a full store, saying, "If you're only coming in here to try samples, don't come in at all." No customer should be treated this way, especially when they fully intend to make a purchase.
