I wish there was a zero star rating! This place is so frustrating. We took our car in for a claim. It took 2 weeks longer than promised. We went to pick it up and found that they had not fixed the ac/heater and didn't fix the cross member. We came back a few weeks later. Again two more weeks. Came back and still the ac/heater issue hadn't been touched. They said that they would order parts and Call is when in. This is without inspection to see what parts. Driving off we hear the cross member rattling. Over these many months waiting eventually a kid hits us in a parking lot and we have a second claim. Same story. We will order parts and Call. I stopped by 6-7 times. Called 10 times minimum and finally sent an email a few weeks ago. Surprise surprise no response. read more

I took my truck to Niemans for some minor body damage. I needed my bumper, fender flair and headlight replaced. Everything was 100% paid for by the other guys insurance and I was assured it would be an easy fix. After two full weeks my truck was finally ready for pickup and I was not impressed. My fender flair had been replaced by a used one that had more damage then the one that was replaced. Also, my bumper looked like it had not been touched. Nieman's did acknowledge that the flair and bumper were still messed up so I got rescheduled for a week and a half later for them to order another flair. Dropped my truck off again and received a call 45 mins later saying that the flair they got was used and damaged and wanted to keep my truck. I said that was not an option so they wanted to send me home with no flair at all. I told them to just put the one back on that I dropped it off with. When I picked it up it was a completely different flair with even more damage. Lots of headache and my truck is worse off then when I turned it in. Seems like a money grab company that cuts any corner they can. Over two weeks and I got back junk work. The people were nice and offered me a rental car, but at if you are going to have my truck for almost a month for minor repairs, you may as well pay the monthly payment for me. The place excels in customer service and the staff is​ wonderful. The gentleman that brought my car to me yesterday and was very kind and explained what they did. Laura was magnificent​ and I was surprised that my car was clean when I picked it up. Laura told me to make an appointment to come back in three weeks for a FREE wash and wax. I was impressed by the service here. My car got broken into (convertible top slashed open and inside car damage). I picked this place bec. it is near my house. Enterprise picked me up, and the car took almost 2 weeks to get finished - but I didn't mind driving the rental, since insurance paid for it. The top had to be ordered. They even replaced the radio. The owner and his wife were very nice, and they did a great job on my car. I would def. recommend! read more

I brought our old (1995) minivan to Neiman's when the sliding door almost detached from the car. One corner hit the ground closing it when two of three attachment points let go. They had it working as good as new, quickly, and for a very reasonable charge I thought. Recommended! read more

My boyfriend brought our car in to get a number of things fixed on our car. A few cosmetic things and also to get some new headlights installed. The front bumper was painted, the rear spoiler was painted, the side panels on the bottom were to be reattached and of course the new headlights were to be installed. We got the car back with new scratches and the lights pointing at the ground. We could literally hardly see past the hood when driving at night. The lower side panels were hardly reattached. We had to rent a car for two days while our car was being worked on. After all the discrepancies were noted we brought the car back in to get it done right, and only the headlights were adjusted. They still aren't were they should be. As a matter of fact, they weren't even installed right. Once in a while one headlight doesn't even turn on. We need to turn the car off and on a few times and the light that was out will turn on. Ugh. Needless to say, we've paid close to $1000 to this place and the work is below average. Won't be wasting money here again. We gave them 3 chances to fix the scratches, attach the panels the right way and to finally get the lights right. read more

Stan and Laura were very friendly and helpful. We brought it in for repair to a bumper and replacement of a tow hitch. We were in and out in three days and upon picking up the vehicle and inspecting it, Stan even brought out some touch up paint for a few door dings that weren't even related to the work we brought it in for. They also cleaned up the interior and will be doing a complimentary polish in a few weeks. In the event we need to have bodywork done (hopefully not any time soon) we will definitely come back. read more

Brought my car in for an estimate on some paint touch ups. Waited a few weeks then called to schedule an appointment to get the work done. I show up a week and a half later for my appointment and am told that they don't have me on the schedule. They also can't find the origional estimate and don't have the exact paint on hand. They did say they probably had some silver paint on hand somewhere and they could try that. At that point I could tell this was a very sloppy operation. Taking my business elsewhere. read more

Hit a bucket that fell off the truck in front of me on the freeway. It dislodged the plastic underbody protector. Stopped at this body shop figuring I'd have to buy a new protector and pay for it to get installed. After looking at it they said "oh heck you just need a couple of Clips to clip it back down". They clipped it back down didn't charge me a penny and I was out the door in 20 minutes. I found my new auto body shop for the future! read more

Very slow service. It took my car about a month to get it fully repaired. The same thing happened to my friend as well. And they would always say "next week it will be done", but that never was the case. read more

After checking other body shops in town, Daniel at Neiman's gave us the best price for paint and repair of few dings on our Dodge Ram truck. Insurance recommended Neimans after our new Yukon got T-boned and sustained 7k in damages. I was so worried that my new baby would never be the same. We just picked it up and it is BEAUTIFUL! I could not be more impressed with the work they did and was so pleasantly surprised that it was ready on the date they originally gave us! You would never, ever know this car had been in an accident. I wish there was an option to leave no stars. Our experience with this business was the worst we've ever had in all of our long years of bringing our vehicles to garages. We started our fiasco with this group in October. To begin, we just moved to Fallbrook, and so, our insurance company gave my husband a couple of numbers for collisions centers near us. Our mistake was not going to YELP first to check them out. So, unfortunately, for us we went to Neiman's. First it was a "bait and switch" situation with the estimate we were given of $600 and a couple of days to get it done. Well, this is 3 months later and we just left their garage today January 10th, (whew!), hopefully for the last time! We were told that the scratch that we brought in to be repaired was too deep to fix the way he initially thought AFTER the fact that they ordered a new door at twice the cost without notifying us! After waiting the week we were told it would take and another few days because it wasn't ready we picked up our car. Well, two days later I noticed black marks on the door that they painted so we brought it in and were told, "oh, that's nothing we'll repaint it and you can have it back in a couple of days." Maybe that's nothing to them but I need my car for my business and this is becoming a major inconvenience. Oh, yes, they offered a "loner" for free...no thanks. So....waited for the car, AGAIN, and this time they neglected to put the BMW decal on it....sooooo....waited AGAIN....and days later went in AGAIN and they put the decal on....ooops! They neglected to put the i on the decal! "No problem" they laughed, "just bring it in AGAIN in a few days". Sloppy, sloppy, sloppy. Never apologized for any of their blunders, just laughed it off and said nothing was important. Run, don't walk away from this terribly inept group of bunglers. Worst we've ever experienced. And, yes, we called our insurance company with all the gruesome details and told them they should stop giving out this company's information as a place to go. read more

If I could give less I would, had my car taken here after being in a collision. Was given the estimate of 10 business days, during holiday times I understand that it would take a few more days than that but nearly a month and a half to be repaired, was told it was ready to pick up twice, the first time I opened the trunk and my car parts were still there, so not ready. I had already returned my rental car huge pain in the ass having to go back also my gas cover wasn't on, apparently that part still needed to be painted. A little less then a week later after picking up my car a second time my trunk latch isn't working, also noticed they didn't put my trunk light back, called the owner who was combative and told me that although my collision was on the rear end of my car they did not touch my trunk, when I dropped it off my trunk was jammed shut from the damage. I can't believe I was charged for any of this, still almost a year later of phone calls I don't have a trunk light and my gas cover is the incorrect one for this model car. Talked to a couple other mechanics in town and they said tops 5 day repair. Staff was horrendous. read more

These people suck! Do not go here. I took my car in to have the trunk fix after I got rear ended. Since I was getting the trunk fix anyways I figure I'd have a scratch on the door fixed as well. When they finished and I picked up my car the trunk wouldn't open and the door window wouldn't close. Your insurance company might try to get you to use this shop because they work cheap. I took my vintage '56 Chevy to Neiman's after two local referrals. It has an older but very well-maintained, fairly expensive flamed black paint job with a pearl clear coat. I had broken a fan belt while driving at an elevated RPM and the belt hit the underside of the hood and chipped off a 1/2" x 1" hunk of finish down to bare metal right behind the hood ornament near the center of the expanse. It looked awful and I was distraught. I met with Stan, the owner, and he expressed confidence he could patch the damage and match the finish. He and his guys came through with honors. It looks great and you can't tell anything ever happened. Also, he kept the car secure in his large garage while it was there (Stan owns a vintage Camaro). I would highly recommend Neiman's Collision Center for those it-has-to-be-perfect classic cars. read more
