Went back on this last trip through Vegas - again ordering the Shakshuka and a coffee. This time around they did have a second seating area open, so they were able to deal with the crowd a bit better. The Shakshuka is being served different now, it's coming out it a very hot cast iron skillet - so not only are you not having a chance to get you eggs a bit on the runny side, but the heat is taking all of the moisture out of the dish (think a sticky oatmeal consistency). Still challenges for the person running the register (long wait times there), still challenges getting your coffee, and you have to go up to the counter to get a refill. The final straw for me was that you don't give you a spoon for the meal (with the consistency, maybe the fork is all they think you will need?) my last time trying this place read more

Always looking to try new brunch places wherever we visit. This place was pretty solid. Nice, clean, and big restaurant with lots of indoor seating and some outdoor seating as well. Only downfall is that there is only one register to order with. Line was out the door. It took us 20+ minutes just to order. The staff was friendly and helpful. I really enjoyed everything we ordered. It was all yummy and reasonably priced. From my Lavender Latte to my Tunacado Sandwich, it was all flavorful. Good portions, too. Great place for large groups and brunch. We were a big mom group of 7 plus our babies and were able to find a big table with stroller room. You order at the counter, and staff will bring your order to you. There was no wait at the counter when we went around lunch time on a Wednesday afternoon. I tried to order the chocolate malt cold brew but unfortunately, they were out of the chocolate malt. I ordered a Nutella latte instead and that tasted perfect. The consistency was rich even though it was iced and wasn't too sweet. Neighbors is a great spot for a casual breakfast/lunch and now they recently started serving dinner. I went on a Sunday for lunch and there was plenty of seating. Order at the front and find a seat. I tried Neighbors for the first time on a Sunday. It's your typical brunch morning so the line was long and out the door. You place your order at the counter and are given a number and can pick your own open table. There are two indoor dining areas and a patio outside. The menu has a selection of both breakfast and lunch items. The drink menu has a good selection of options however they're limited on drink modifications. Not all coffee drinks can be ordered hot or iced. I ordered a lemonade and the CBLTA sandwich minus tomatoes with the upgrade to sweet potato fries. The lemonade was tart and not too sweet. The sandwich was good and the portion size was huge. The sandwich had great flavor with the pesto spread. The restaurant was busy and could be loud at times due to groups dining together. I was super excited to try this place because of the reviews. The ambiance is really cute and the coffee is good. I'd honestly come back just to grab a coffee and read my book. Another thing to note is that you order at the counter and seat yourself, which I didn't mind but just an FYI if it's your first time. The food was the disappointing part. The labneh and eggs were super watery, the soft scrambled eggs came out really dry, and the sausage tasted off. The potatoes and bacon were good though. Visited this restaurant for the first time. When we were driving there, we didn't even know that the building was a restaurant. We thought we were at someone's house. Perfect restaurant name for this place. Parking is a little limited, so hopefully when you do visit this place there's parking. There seems to be plenty of room inside to sit down, especially if you have a large party with you. The restaurant also is divided one part is the kitchen and another part has the barista in them. We were greeted by friendly staff and seated by the window, where we could enjoy the sun. We were with some family members and they recommended this restaurant to us. Definitely a fun place to be. We went to try their dinner menu and it was amazing! A lot of the food were highlights, but some did fall flat like the carbonara. The Japanese sweet potatoes were surprisingly great and a must! The sourdough is also pretty noteworthy. Even the drinks were great, though I would've preferred if they were alcoholic. The place is great for an intimate date or a large group (we were a party of 8) so it is like dining with the neighbors. I love to get Shakshuka whenever I see it on the menu. Theirs was so flavorful and had the right amount of toast. Great portion size and I could have easily shared with a friend. I can't believe I haven't left a review for Neighbors! I've been coming here since they first opened and it's a joy to see that even after expanding, Neighbors is still just as good as always. The wait can be a little long if you're coming during peak Brunch hours, but that wait just gives you more time to contemplate what you're going to eat since the menu has too many tasty options. I feel like I've tried most of the core menu at this point and would recommend any of these items if you're having trouble choosing (in no particular order): - Breakfast Burrito - Old School - Shakshuka (if available) - Turkey Club Neighbors' drinks are also pretty good with my personal favorites being the Queen Bee Latte, London Fog, or a nice cold Cold Crew. The inside of the restaurant is vary spacious and there's a lot of seating to be found. It can sometimes be a tad precarious if it's really busy, but I don't think there's been a time where I couldn't find seating for a group of 4-5. That said, it is also quite loud in the restaurant, so I wouldn't come here expecting to have a "quiet" meal. The steak was the worst quality all fat and rubber couldn't cut through it and the potatoes felt like unseasoned air fryed potatoes and the eggs bad too... please do better! We got a breakfast burrito and breakfast sandwich which were $15-18 ea (with an avocado) the sandwich was really dry and bland. There was so much fried egg that it took over the whole sandwich. Wasn't much avocado especially for $3 and the potatoes were unseasoned and overcooked. Burrito was fine but needed more of the lime sauce which was pretty good. I visited Neighbors one morning for breakfast. Ironically, as soon as I ordered, a line of people appeared out of the door. You order your food at the entrance and pay before being seated. They have water stations set up with glasses and plastic cups sitting next to it to grab as much as you may need. It's very spacious & a tranquil atmosphere. The menu changes according to Chef preferences and is seasonal. So to preview the current menu, go to the Neighbors web site; do not rely on Yelp for current offerings. The seating is traditional table service which differs from the breakfast/lunch counter order process. The staff at neighbors are super friendly and take pride in the restaurant and the new dinner service. We ordered the "Butter & Honey" warm sourdough from the snacks side of the menu and it was delightful. The bread is made from scratch in-house and is different from the breakfast/lunch menu sourdough. Wonderfully crisp and it pairs well with the honey & unsalted butter combo. A must have. We also ordered the "Miso Caesar salad." It has lemon, garlic style dressing with panko. A little tart but very delicious. It is a nice twist from the traditional Caesar salad for sure. Worth ordering. My wife opted for the "NY Steak Frites, " (Black garlic glaze, sun-gold tomatoes.) It was grilled to perfection. Very much a prime cut of beef. The black garlic glaze was good but left us wanting more. We both had a side of fries that came with our meals and these things were insane! The best fries In have ever had. Whatever batter they use was perfect. super crunchy outside, moist inside. Even when they eventually got cold, they were still addiciting to eat. ya gotta get the fries! Worth noting; None of the entrees list what side they come with. I went through each entree and what side it comes with. They should list the included sides on the menu? Perhaps this menu style pairs with fine dining style menu? I had the "Spicy Chicken Sando." it was huge and delicious. So big was the portion of chicken, I could only eat half. The only constructive comment is the small hamburger style bun is out of place and makes eating this thing a fork & knife affair. A huge improvement would be a ciabatta roll or sourdough bread. Very tasty! Conclusion. I believe Neighbors has got this dinner thing sorted very early on. The food is very much Chef inspired and it shows. Super cute modern brunch and lunch spot on Fort Apache. The "New Vegas" Southwest region part of Vegas, so close to The Bend, Uncommons, new Costco, IKEA and much more. It is an order first then sit down type of restaurant. Line gets so long so be ready for that! They've got a front case of fresh pastries. Dishes are soooo good!!!!
