She was in a body building contest so needless to say she eats in a very healthy manner. She found Flower Child and we're so happy she did. It has very cool decor giving off the rustic, loft vibe. It's very clean, bright with organic elements. We were greeted in a friendly manner at the counter. The menu displayed overhead was extensive. Our friend chose avocado toast with sweet potato fries. My husband and I ordered the chicken entree with steamed brown rice. My second side was a grilled asparagus mujadera while hubby chose the sweet potato fries as a second side. Met a good friend today and he suggested this restaurant for lunch. Very nice homely feeling and has plenty of tables and seating. Although they were busy we received are order in a very timely manner. I ordered their Carolina Chicken BBQ wrap. This wrap was very well put together with kombucha grilled chicken, pepper jack, coleslaw and pickles. It came with some greens on the plate as well. It was very delicious. I'm not much into wraps but was compelled to give it a try and I'm glad I did. I'm definitely returning to try more of their items. I forgot what my friend had but it was gluten free. Flower Child is always consistent. We wanted something on the healthier side after our workout class, and it definitely hit. I've tried quite a few things here, but this time I went with a veggie shrimp salad (can't remember the exact name), and everything tasted super fresh. My friend had the Avocado toast and a chopped salad. I had the avocado Ceaser salad and the Chile queso dip with white corn chips. We enjoyed our food. There was a little line when we got there, and a second line opened up, we were asked to move to the second line and the cashier seemed annoyed that we came to her. We stopped by Flower Child for a healthy dinner. Really glad I found this place through Yelp. I appreciate the variety on the menu. You can order entrees (1 protein + 2 sides), wraps, sandos, and bowls. If you've ever been to Urban Plates, Tender Greens, or Mix't, the concept is similar here. I got the Peruvian beef bowl, which came with a nice serving of rice and beans. The beef tasted a little acidic, but overall, I really enjoyed this meal. My bf got the salmon entree with a side of brussel sprouts and cauliflower. The salad was good and really flavorful, but heavily overdressed. The first few bites were tasty but by the end it started feeling too salty and it felt heavy. I would recommend asking for light dressing or dressing on the side. I've had the feast medicine from Flower Child ( @eatflowerchild ) on my list for some time now. I came for the Steakhouse Wedge salad which I doubled the proteins, steak and shrimp. After living in Colorado I had to try the Green Chili Queso, the cookie was extra. Once you do (depending if it is to-go or to stay), they will give you a number to take to your table. Their drinks are unlimited refills for tea and lemonade. They also conveniently have water cups set-up. You get your own napkins, eating utensils, straws, cups, and sauces from the same area, which is so convenient and it is ALWAYS stocked + cleaned. I continued to come here the last year because it's so close to my house and where I run errands but now it's over. I came here yesterday and sadly Flower Child just keeps getting worse and worse. I found out at the register that a week before they ended their braised beef dish so I ordered their pick your protein plate and it was one of the worst meals I've ever had. The chicken was tasteless and dry, the chopped fruit had a lot of pineapple skin still on it and the sweet potatoes were dry as heck. And what makes matters worse is that the crowd in front of me had zero sense to move up so that the front entrance isn't blocked. No one knows where to stand apparently and no one moved a damn inch even after I politely said if they could move forward a little bit so I wouldn't be standing with the door open with cold air coming in. I think the whole set up of this restaurant was not thought through enough and makes for a very poor dining experience as a whole, so good bye for good Flower Child. read more

The glow bowl with added salmon did the trick. I've never had sweet potato noodles but they were grand and very filling. Not sure what seasonings and sauce were in the bowl but it did a great job of adding rich flavor so it wouldn't feel like I was just eating a bowl of fresh veggies/rabbit food. I'd order it again in a heartbeat, but I'd ask for half of it to be zucchini noodles. Pros- it's quick! Order at the register when you get there and they bring it to your table. Lots of choices! I ordered delivery from this place, my second time. 1st time was really delicious I got GF Mac and cheese and the fries. I really liked it so decided to order again but try something new, well kind of . I got the same thing but I wanted to try the GF pita bread and the salmon. The potato fries were so soggy it wasn't the same, like they weren't fully cooked, salmon was very dry. Mac n cheese gluten free always is good there. I really did enjoy the gluten-free pita bread. I was just very disappointed. The second time around wasn't very appetizing for $20 at a paid and $30 for delivery. read more
