Avocado Caesar Salad and Green Chile Queso Dip and white corn chips
    Lori L.

Great atmosphere, great food, loved my passionfruit black ice tea. I like that you seat yourself . I sat next to kitchen so I could watch them prepare all the food. My friend had the Avocado toast and a chopped salad. I had the avocado Ceaser salad and the Chile queso dip with white corn chips. We enjoyed our food. There was a little line when we got there, and a second line opened up, we were asked to move to the second line and the cashier seemed annoyed that we came to her. Thought it was classic when I was paying it asks for a tip. Came close to not tipping at all, but couldn't bring myself to do it. I'm hoping the tips are split up by everyone working there, and not just for cashiers. I definitely will go back, I really liked the place. Maybe cashier was confused or having a bad day.

We stopped by Flower Child for a healthy dinner. Really glad I found this place through Yelp. I appreciate the variety on the menu. You can order entrees (1 protein + 2 sides), wraps, sandos, and bowls. If you've ever been to Urban Plates, Tender Greens, or Mix't, the concept is similar here. I got the Peruvian beef bowl, which came with a nice serving of rice and beans. The beef tasted a little acidic, but overall, I really enjoyed this meal. Nice and hearty, and I felt really satisfied after this bowl. Would come back again for a fast-casual and healthy meal!

When you're looking for healthy options but don't wanna worry about the lack of flavors, let Flower Child grow on you. They literally have hearty meals that are balanced and calorie-friendly. All proteins are available from plants (veggies), beef, chicken, turkey, seafood, tofu, and hummus. For the Las Vegas, NV menu you can check this out - https://share.google/HMTrFLDGaccmXvwbA They allow you to swap out ingredients or add an additional protein. Refreshing teas and lemonade have free refills too! Service is very structured and organized. It's self-seating with a given number to post on a portable table stand. However, grab your utensils and napkins next to the self-serve drink station. There's outdoor patio seating to catch a nice autumn or spring breeze. The interior depicts "bringing nature indoors". Their outdoor seating has cute wall art. It offers a comfy zone for meals with family or friends; even solo diners who like spending time on mobile devices. Come one or come all for good eats that actually are treats, and become a "flower child".

Clean eating should still taste good. Fresh ingredients should be the baseline, not the selling point. The work should come from the kitchen--how ingredients are handled, layered, and brought together so the dish feels finished without relying on heaviness. If a dish leans on acidity, it should feel bright, not sharp. If it's simply prepared, it should feel cohesive, not something the diner has to fix. I ended up coming to Flower Child twice. The first visit didn't fully land, so I came back during a slower period to see whether it was timing or something more persistent. It's also the lens I evaluate places like this through, particularly after experiencing clean eating done right in Northern Europe, where fresh ingredients and clean preparation still deliver full flavor and the dish works on its own. On paper, this should deliver that. In practice, it doesn't. The first visit started with the chopped vegetable salad with steak. The vegetables were fresh, crisp, and well-handled--exactly what you would expect. The issue is how everything is put together. The dressing leans heavily into acidity without enough sweetness or depth to support it. Instead of integrating, it sits on top of the vegetables and overtakes them, creating a sharp, repeating profile that flattens everything else. The steak adds a second issue. It's tender, but seasoning is concentrated on the exterior, so some bites land while others--especially edge-heavy ones--are noticeably salt-heavy. The result is a dish that doesn't hold steady from bite to bite. You can get a good bite, but only if you actively build it--steak, vegetables, avocado, and moisture in the right proportion. The components aren't distributed in a way that makes that happen naturally, so you end up holding elements back just to make part of it work. At that point, you're not just eating--you're correcting it. The rose petal lemonade follows the same pattern. There's no discernible rose--no aroma, no floral note. It drinks as a tart lemonade without enough depth to carry it. On a second visit, during a much slower time of day, I ordered from the Healthy Kids menu to simplify things--one protein, two sides. If anything was going to hold together cleanly, it should have been this. It doesn't. The broccoli is properly cooked but nearly flavorless on its own. Parmesan becomes the only real seasoning, and because it isn't evenly distributed, only some bites work while the rest fall flat unless you deliberately pair them. The steak is where the issue becomes unavoidable. It's warmer and less aggressively seasoned than before, but doneness varies across the plate. Some pieces are fine, others are undercooked, producing a metallic, blood-like taste that lingers well beyond the bite. That aftertaste carries into everything that follows and required multiple rounds of water just to partially clear, and even then it doesn't fully go away. At that point, it stops being uneven cooking and becomes disruptive--you have to work around it to continue eating. The smashed potato is the one element that works. It's creamy, properly seasoned, and holds together on its own without needing adjustment. The lemon olive oil cake follows the same pattern. It opens with a bright citrus note, then quickly shifts into a heavier, oil-driven profile. The crumb is dense and slightly chewy, and the oil coats the palate. As the lemon fades, what remains is sweetness and fat without enough contrast to carry through. Across both visits, the pattern is clear. The issue isn't just that individual components fall short--it's that the food doesn't come together on its own. Even when parts are handled correctly, they aren't brought together in a way that delivers a finished dish as served. You're left adjusting, combining, or working around it. Service is minimal by design--order at the counter, self-serve water, food brought out. That setup works, but follow-through is uneven. The first visit included proactive clearing. The second, despite being slower, did not. With steak, the salad lands around $20, the kids meal sits in the mid-teens, and the small cake is about $3-4. At those prices, the expectation is not just fresh ingredients, but that the food works as served. Clean eating done right doesn't ask the diner to fix it. It should still taste good, and it should arrive as a finished dish without requiring adjustment. That standard is achievable--I've experienced it in Northern Europe--and that's what makes the gap here clear. Across two visits, the issue isn't isolated or situational. The food doesn't consistently come together on its own, and because of that, it never fully delivers on what the concept promises.

    Mediterranean Chicken Kabob

It's nice to be able to eat healthy but still have a great meal. This is the 2nd time I've been here although it was another location and the food is fresh & delicious. You order, get a number and they bring it to your table. The restaurant is airy and nice as you can sit in or outside. I got the chicken kabob which is amazing and the staff is very pleasant & helpful. I highly recommend this quick but healthy spot

Flower Child is hands down one of my favorite healthy restaurant options! I love that it's in the same plaza as my Lagree studio--literally the perfect post-workout meal spot. I've always loved their bowls, but their entrée option (one protein + two sides) is what finally pushed me to write this review. Depending on how hungry you are, the entrée portions can be on the smaller side--but for me, it was filling and just right. There are so many great choices, and they even have a kids menu, which I really appreciate. I ordered the salmon with sweet potatoes and broccoli and it was so good. My friends ordered the tofu, kung pao cauliflower, cauliflower risotto, and brown rice. We all shared bites of everything and every single dish was a win--no complaints, only happy plates. There's plenty of parking, the staff is genuinely friendly, and the decor is bright, beautiful, and inviting. There's plenty of seating both indoors and outdoors, making it an easy spot to dine in. It's casual dining where you order first and then sit down, and they bring the food out to your table, which is a nice touch. If you're looking for a delicious, feel-good, guilt-free meal that still feels special, Flower Child is absolutely the place. Truly a one-of-a-kind spot!

    Ginger Miso Crunch with salmon
    Beatrice V.

I was in the mood for a healthy bite and this seemed like the perfect place to stop by. Lots of parking out front. Their menu has everything from salads to bowls to wraps to protein plates. Lots of options depending on what you're feeling. I had trouble deciding what to get (everything sounded so good!!) and the lady kindly helped us figure out what to get. Super friendly service. Pretty and bright decor inside, lots of greenery. I ordered the ginger miso crunch salad and added shrimp to it. She mentioned her favorite proteins there are the shrimp, salmon, and steak. My bf got the salmon entree with a side of brussel sprouts and cauliflower. The salad was good and really flavorful, but heavily overdressed. The first few bites were tasty but by the end it started feeling too salty and it felt heavy. I would recommend asking for light dressing or dressing on the side. I usually like things to be dressed generously but this was just too much. The shrimp was cooked perfectly and was super tasty. My bf didn't love the salmon, it wasn't cooked amazingly well and was slightly overdone. The veggie sides were good though. They also have a rewards program if you dine here enough and they have tons of other locations.

    Glow Bowl with chicken
    Amelia D.

We came here on a sunny afternoon to get a healthy lunch, with a little one (2 years old) in tow. The counter service was friendly, and the outdoor seating was plentiful although it was pretty full. I got the glow bowl with chicken, which was overall healthy and protein packed, though it seemed like everything was meant to be eaten separately not mixed. I liked the broccoli pesto. My friend got a tofu Asian salad which was a good portion, and we got her two year old a kids meal which is a good deal for those with kids. Her kid absolutely loves the tofu at Flower Child. Overall, it is a good fast casual spot with a short wait for health conscious food. I wasn't wasnt wow'ed given that it's about $20 an entered, but I suppose you're paying for quality ingredients. It was full of families with kids, so seems to be a good option.

I dined at Flower Child for lunch today. It was a sunny warm afternoon so decided to sit in the front patio area because my dog was with me. The staff was accommodating and friendly. I ordered the chicken enchiladas. The plate had fresh vegetables, guacamole, pickled onions, black beans and a smoked Gouda sauce. It was tasty. All in all, their menu appears to offer many fresh healthy options. This location in Summerlin is worth a try.

Salmon with cauliflower and Red Chile Glazed Sweet Potato

We absolutely LOVE Flower child! It is one of my go-to spots when I'm craving healthy, clean food that actually tastes amazing. Everything feels fresh and thoughtfully made. My absolute favorite dish is the salmon with cauliflower rice and roasted glazed chili sweet potatoes perfectly cooked, flavorful, and so satisfying without feeling heavy. My husband swears by the noodles, which are always a hit. I've also tried the Mother Earth Bowl, and it's soo good and super filling, though you do have to add the protein separately. One tip: I don't recommend adding shrimp as your protein. It's the most expensive protein option (an extra $7 for just 6 pieces), which didn't feel worth it compared to the others. The staff is incredibly nice and friendly, and the space itself is huge with plenty of indoor and outdoor seating, making it a great spot for a relaxed meal. Overall, a solid choice if you want something healthy, fresh, and delicious.

Birthday lunch at Flower Child!! I was craving fun, yummy, healthy and quick. Flower Child hit perfectly:) We enjoyed the French Dip and the Thai Chicken soup with mushrooms. Everything was delicious. Love coming here. Staff are always friendly and helpful. Restaurant is beautifully decorated and laid out.

What a surprise! Honestly, I saw this restaurant a few times when I was in the area but did not look into it or much thought of it as I remember someone told me it's a vegetarian restaurant. It's not a vegetarian restaurant but it does have vegetarian and vegan options. My daughter picked this spot for today's lunch and happy she did and we got to enjoy a nice lunch. Parking: a whole lot for you to park You can sit outside in the patio or inside. You walk in, order, given a table #, find your table. Wait is not too long and your meal is brought out. Fast and fresh food that's made to order. When you order, you can see that food is made as the order comes in. They are hustling for sure in the kitchen. Service is definitely quick and friendly. A casual dining experience but very enjoyable for a Saturday lunch.

How did I not try this place sooner?! I love finding healthy foo places and I love how their menu has a good amount of options! The price isn't bad either! I took so long to decide because everything sounded good. But I ended up choosing the Mother Earth bowl. It was good & filling yet you don't feel gross afterwards. I just wish they had a bigger drink menu , hehe.

I've read the patio is pet friendly. However, do they allow you to take your pet into the restaurant to place your order at the counter and get your drink at the back of the restaurant where the beverage station is located?

I would say yes, my niece had her dog inside the restaurant with her the entire time and I believe she did go back to get a drink and was holding her dog

    Is there Wi-Fi?

    Free WiFi

    Is this place pet friendly?

Yes, but I think only in the patio area. They have dog bowls up front for customers to use.

Do they help host special events (ie baby shower) at the location?

The place doesn't look like it's set up for private events. The space is open. Honey Salt next door can accommodate private event. They do a really nice Brunch.

We also spoke to a manager about the great service, which I did mention how dry the butternut squash was during the conversation. Apparently offering a different dish or removing the dish and taking it off the check isn't a thing anymore if food isn't up to standards. Or even firing up a new one. A little disappointed about that, but it is what it is.

I ordered a snack pack with steak, boiled egg and candied pecans. All three items were great and helped with getting my protein for the day. The kids salad was a big portion for me. It had great quality cucumbers and shredded carrots with the salad mix. I added roasted chicken and dried cranberries in place of the croutons because of my allergy. It came with ranch dressing. The chicken enchilada chili was fantastic. Definitely get a bowl. The quesadilla was just average. They have a plethora of unique beverages to choose from. The only problem is that most of them are lemonade based so if you don't like lemonade your choices are limited. I chose the summer stone fruit lemonade which is peach, nectarine. and apricot flavored lemonade. I am not a big lemonade person so I added a little sugar but the flavor was lovely and refreshing. Overall I am a fan of Salad and Go and can definitely recommend it for a great healthy meal. I forgot to mention that they also have wraps and a build your own salad option.

It truly hits every mark: excellent food, a beautiful interior and ambiance, warm service, and great beverages. The atmosphere is especially lovely, with flower-covered walls, exposed brick, and a window view overlooking the lake. It's the kind of place you want to linger, and the staff is kind enough to never rush you out. They also offer fantastic options for gluten-free, dairy-free, vegetarian, and vegan diets, which is surprisingly rare to find done this well. The service is consistently excellent, with staff who genuinely go above and beyond to make customers feel welcome. Definitely check out and support this small business--you won't regret it.

The ambiance is cozy and cute and you can sit right next to the window with a view of the water, however the outside windows were a bit dirty and covered in bird poo. I ordered the smoked salmon toast while my Fiancè had the slow cooked brisket, with two eggs and rice. While my smoked salmon toast was quite good and light (I recommend this if you go), my partners food was good as well but as this was the first meal we ate in the day, after he finished we sat for about 15 minutes and he started to feel a little sick. Another thing, the menu does seem to be very limited, I did expect a little more but that is just my own opinion.

All the staff was friendly and made us feel welcomed. We met the owner I believe and he really cool and we appreciated him coming to say hello. The chefs in the kitchen are quick and we're killing it with how many orders were coming in. Every plate looked great and nothing looked rushed so really want to give them their shoutout! So many great items on the menu and everything we tried was great. The beach bum burrito is excellent! The ratio of potatoes to eggs along with cheese really is top tier. The chicken and waffles..... wow. Like actually wow. Some of the best I've had! Perfectly fried and crispy while also moist and tender. Not too much breading. The sliced chile peppers mixed with the syrup gives a perfect balance of spicy goodness that alll flows perfectly with the fluffy waffle. The salmon and rice bowl (forgot the name) was fresh and bright. The salmon had a great crust while maintaining moist center. The cilantro crema gave it a great texture with the rice. Loved it. Can't wait to try some more options and have another great experience!
