I came in with my wife to have lunch and it was not crowded so we got sat immediately, with the host asking if we preferred a booth or a table. We opted for a booth and ordered our food, I got the famous breakfast while my wife ordered the eggs Benedict with smoked salmon and we got 2 mimosas (pineapple and cranberry). Everything was exceptional, the skordalia dip that came with my breakfast were delicious, well seasoned, and the epi bread was fluffy and coated in crunchy sesame seeds. The hollandaise that came on the Benedict was perfect, not too salty, and it complimented the rest of the Benedict perfectly. After enjoying our food for a bit, a group sat next to us consisting of 2 women and 2 very young toddlers. I knew it was going to be bad by the way the toddler wandered around the few tables across the aisle, ultimately blocking our server from bringing us our food for a bit. The baby then began to scream its head off and did not stop as the ladies tried to quiet it down. I did not say anything to them as I know it is an embarrassing situation to be in to have a stranger critique your parenting style. We finished up the meal (the baby was still screaming at this point) and when our server noticed we had been giving each other That Look™, she came back and the first thing she said was "I'm so sorry about that," and offered to move us to the enclosed dining area to enjoy our dessert and escape the ruckus. The manager then offered us 2 more mimosas as an apology for being sat next to a loud table. Overall, the food was delicious, the was atmosphere nice, and the staff did a wonderful job controlling a situation without humiliating the guests who had caused it. One thing of note is that, as I'm sure this is meant to be a more casual dining experience, you should not be expecting super fast service. This is a place to enjoy the breeze and freshly prepared food, so there is more of a relaxed attitude. If you're into that and aren't in a rush to leave, I would absolutely recommend this cafe. read more

This is my new go-to in my hood spot. Super diverse menu with Semitic options from Shakshouka to Hummus. They also have one of my all-time faves: Schnitzel! Love their wide-open space in the dining room, they also have seating options outside with cooling misters for hot days. Staff was fine, with the wide-open space they're hard to miss. Cafe Landwer is a Mediterranean full service Restaurant and artisan Coffee House in Boca Park with around one hundred locations but they are not your average Mediterranean chain. They bake their own breads and pastries. You order things like shakshuka, falafels, kabobs, hummus, and entrees here. This restaurant was established by Moshe Landwer in 1919 in Berlin as a Coffee Shop. In 1933 due to the rise of the Nazis the Landwer Family decided to relocate to Tel Aviv. Today there are around eighty Cafe Landwer Restaurants in Israel and the rest are in America and Canada. This restaurant was packed when we arrived around lunch time on a Sunday and also were on a wait. During the wait you might want to check out the dessert case and look at the fresh baked pastries. Or you might NOT want to check out the desserts because by the time you are ready to try a dessert they might be sold out. Anyways in reasonable time we got seated. Our server was very friendly and even chattered with us before we were her guests. All the servers, bus people, and bartenders were all buzzing around real fast. We shared a Mezza Platter (hummus, labneh, matbucha (tomato, pepper, garlic dip), skordalia (Greek potato-almond dip), tzatziki, torshi pickles, fluffy hot pita bread, and a side order of falafels) I am pleased to say that everything was at least good. The hummus had a nice creamy texture and was better than from a lot of places. Our favorite dip was the matbucha but I am not sure why they added labneh to it. I also have to add that the pita breads were hot and fluffy and were embellished with a small amount of sea salt that was nice. Also the falafels were excellent with crispy exteriors and herby interiors. My husband can eat more than me and also had a beef & lamb kabob skewer plate. He said that the kabobs were juicy and moist. I tasted a forkful of the vegetable side. It was very herby, fresh, and crunchy and I liked the pop of the pomegranate seeds. We packed up a good amount of the Mezza Platter so we could try a dessert. By this time they only had TWO desserts left in the house. We got to try a cinnamon-walnut babka. It was really very good. Terrific food; crummy service. We were seated on the patio for breakfast. It was early morning and unseasonably cool, so the misters were making us too cold. We asked if they could be turned off, and staff explained no, because if they turn them on later in the middle of service, people will complain about them. If people are complaining about them now and complaining about them later, then just don't turn them on in this weather! Jeez, listen to your customers. The food was delayed and then didn't arrive at the same time. Staff members had an argument in front of us. Just a mess. But the food! The bourekas was huge and packed with tangy cheese. I loved the crunchy cauliflower pickles. The breakfast sandwich, again huge, was full of flavor, crisp, and hot. Even the Israeli salad and challah bread were amazing, which says a lot cuz side dishes are often an afterthought. The restaurant itself is spacious, clean and has a warm, welcoming atmosphere. It was a great place to relax and enjoy a meal. The customer service was excellent from start to finish. My server Jack was friendly, attentive and made the experience even better. And when confirming that the sauce was vegan, they were uncertain and took it back and brought it without the red stuff on top. Which is a huge issue for me. Why is nobody certain about this?? How are you gonna list something vegan and not be sure or send out stuff potentially not vegan...? The whole dish wasn't worth it regardless. The berry drink however outdid all of the food. Cafe Landwer has long been on our list of places to try. We ordered takeout for lunch on a Sunday. I tried calling 4 times in attempts to place an order, however was never able to talk to anyone (the automated system would transfer me to a "team member" and the phone would ring a few times before auto-hanging up). They do offer online ordering, but since it was my first time, I wanted to ask some questions and make a few substitutions for certain things that are often impossible to do on an online platform. So I ended up going in person to place a take out order. They are quite busy on the weekends, and the hostess had me wait probably 10 minutes before I was even able to place the order, which was frustrating. Ultimately, she had to track down a server who took my order and quoted about 15 minutes for it to be ready. Not sure why it is so hard to place an order for take out!! We ordered a schnitzel and a chicken shawarma pita. Sides are a la carte, which is wild since the prices for lunch portions are already quite extravagant. Anyhow, I added sweet potato fries to the shawarma. It was ready in about 15-20 minutes, and still warm when I got home. However, the portion sizes were rather pathetic. The picture online of the shawarma shows two large halves, however I was given one half that was no bigger than the size of a fist. The food tasted good, but for a $50 lunch for two people without any beverages, I'd reasonably expect to be full or even have some leftovers. Overall, the experience was pretty disappointing and I won't be back. I would highly recommend Cafe Landwer work on their process for take out orders for those who'd prefer to call the restaurant and talk to a human being. read more

We tried Landwer Café today and really enjoyed it! When we walked in, the restaurant was pretty empty, but it was super clean, bright, airy, and very trendy inside. We were seated right away. We went during happy hour and got the Mini Mezza plate for $10. We also ordered the Vegan Arayes, half Nutella Rosa Lach, and an iced tea. The server recommended the Rosa Lach because it's what they're known for, and I'm glad we listened! Everything was delicious. The Vegan Arayes was flavorful, the iced tea was refreshing, and the Nutella Rosa Lach was AMAZING. It was the perfect balance of sweet and savory, and we literally ate every last bite of everything we ordered. They also had TVs throughout the restaurant, which would be great if you're there to catch a game. Our total with tip was around $60, which felt reasonable for the quality of the food and experience. I've been looking for a reliably good, fairly-priced Mediterranean place in Las Vegas and I think I found it. Cafe Landwer is terrific. I went late one afternoon well after lunch but before dinner time and shared the space with a few other diners. I was greeted by the friendly host and shown to a really comfortable banquet table with a nice view of the bar area. The ambiance of this place is bistro/cafe quaint and gives off very welcoming vibes. Everyone on the staff that I interacted with the friendly and very outgoing. The menu is large and they've got something for everyone. I came specifically for the hummus today...I use it as a benchmark to know whether or not I'm going to like a Mediterranean place. I ordered the Hummus bowl with Chicken Shawarma and mushrooms and onions. You can see from the beautiful picture below that I got this large bowl with a health portion of shawarma. The pita alongside was hot and freshly prepared. They had drizzled a little olive oil on top. It was deliciously crisp on the outside and just so pillowy soft and fluffy on the inside. The hummus was probably some of the best I've ever had. It was so smooth and creamy. Very silky and verging on being more of a liquid than a thick pasty solid. I don't know how they managed to get this so incredibly smooth. There was no gritty residue that you can sometimes get with hummus that hasn't been blended so finely. I ate every last bit of that pita and soaked up every last drop of that amazing hummus. I also had a slushy mint lemonade which was perfect for the hot day we had yesterday. Cafe Landwer started in 1919. I thought this was a one off, but they have over 60 restaurants in German, more in Israel, and several now in North America including Toronto, NYC, and Boston. The cafe itself is gorgeous, it's in a tucked away corner with great parking. The indoor and outdoor eating areas are so beautiful. The service was perfection from the host, to the waitress. The food was incredible! I had never tried challa bread before and it was so warm and perfect. I usually don't write many food reviews, but wow this place shocked me in the best way. I've seen this cafe for awhile always passed by and wanted to try it so today was the day. It is Israeli/jewish owned and their large menu is all Mediterranean inspired. It's always so difficult finding good Mediterranean food in Las Vegas as someone with that heritage. I ordered the Landwer breakfast I believe it was, just switched out the egg for vegan egg. And I got a decaf vanilla iced latte. It was all delicious! The portions are amazing and you get a lot for your money. Everything was great. Service was quick. My waitress was so kind and helpful when I told her it was my first time eating here. I was well taken care of. Very clean aesthetic inside and nice ambiance. Definitely check this place out if you're looking for your next breakfast/brunch spot. I'll be coming back! read more

Great food, a few service hiccups, still worth it. This was our first visit to Cafe Landwer, and we decided to check it out for breakfast while my daughter was in town. We wanted something a little different from the usual brunch spots, and this definitely delivered on that front. We started with the classic hummus plate, which was honestly too good--creamy, smooth, and served with plenty of warm bread. Fair warning: it's easy to fill up on this before your mains even arrive (I definitely did). For entrées, two of us ordered shakshuka--one the classic shakshuka and the other the short rib shakshuka--while the third person got the falafel pita. Flavor-wise, everything was excellent. The shakshuka sauces were rich and well-seasoned, and the short rib added a nice hearty twist. The falafel pita was also a solid choice, fresh and satisfying. The only real knock on the food: the eggs in both shakshuka dishes were overcooked. They're supposed to be poached with runny yolks, but ours leaned more toward fully set, with some yolks completely hard. Not a dealbreaker, but definitely noticeable and worth mentioning. Drinks were all winners. We had a hot chai latte, a matcha latte, and what ended up being an apple-celery juice (a slight mix-up from ordering plain apple juice). Honestly, no complaints--we enjoyed all three. The space itself is really nice, with a great outdoor patio that I'd love to come back and try when the weather's a bit warmer. It has that relaxed, modern Mediterranean café vibe that works equally well for breakfast, lunch, or even a casual dinner. Service, though, was a bit inconsistent. It wasn't bad, just... off. We had to ask about a missing dish that came out several minutes late, one of the shakshuka sauces didn't arrive with the plate, and water refills didn't happen unless we flagged someone down. It also took a while to get the check. Nothing terrible, but enough small misses to notice. That said, the food really carries the experience here. There's limited parking in front, but plenty of available space nearby. The official opening was on April 3, 2025. This is the first one in Las Vegas and they have 80+ locations worldwide, several locations in Israel plus across North America which include Toronto, Boston, Los Angeles, Boca Raton, Hallandale Beach, and Brooklyn. Inside is spacious, lively, and inviting with ample seating for a table, bench seat, by the bar, and at the patio. They play awesome music with upbeat songs. Atmosphere is relaxing and laid back. Happy Hour is Monday thru Friday at 3pm to 6pm. Pricing is $10 for selected items and apply to bar and patio seating, and they can make an exception for a particular seating if requested. Menu offers breakfast, lunch, dinner, and has an extensive selection of Mediterranean appetizer, salad, sandwiches, paninis, shakshuka, hummus, entrees, pasta, and dessert. There's a variety of beverages including wine, beer, cocktails, coffee, latte, tea, as well as freshly squeezed juice, smoothies, and milkshakes. I had Cappuccino (regular, $5.50) served hot, strong, and soothing. Ginger Lemon Iced Tea (regular, $5) is good too! It has prominent ginger, very earthy, comes with sliced lemon that needs to be squeezed, and is so refreshing with a lot of ice. Mini Quinoa Lebanese Salad (happy hour, $10) is very light and tasty! It has vibrant veggies of chopped greens, diced tomatoes, cucumber, radish, and a terrific crunch from almonds, chia seeds, pumpkin seeds, all mixed in with quinoa, has delightful lemon mint dressing, and sumac sprinkled on labneh which is tangy yogurt that is wonderfully yummy and cooling, texture is similar to sour cream and healthy! Falafel Platter (happy hour, $10) is a great appetizer and delicious! It comes with creamy hummus topped with chickpeas, paprika, and EVOO drizzle, has crispy and moist falafel (4 pieces), crunchy torshi salad which is housemade pickled cabbage and carrots, and fluffy soft pita bread, all really good! Both appetizer is satisfying and filling! For dessert, Sahlab ($6) is excellent! It's a cozy aromatic Middle Eastern drink served warm, rich and good, has a pleasant sweetness, consistency is thick, silky milk pudding that's infused with fragrant orange blossom, topped with toasted coconut, cinnamon, finely crumbed walnuts, is so delectable and amazing! They have Matcha Latte too (regular, $6.50), I requested unsweetened with oat milk, it was delivered in a nice glass served hot, and I paired with creamy vanilla ice cream (2 scoops, $6), so good! The only thing I'd change is the addition of cilantro in the avocado spread but I have the cilantro soap gene so thats on me for not asking. The space itself was very clean bright and classy. **DISCLAIMER** We did not eat here. We waited line to be seated and along with a couple of additional folks, too were ignored. The decibel level inside this restaurant is enough to blow your eardrums off - metaphorically speaking. It was truly off the charts. If you don't mind a very loud environment after being ignored by the front desk/line, you'll be fine. The food here is always good, based on what I've heard and what I saw being delivered to the tables. read more

Cute vibe inside and really nice service. I love the mediterranean twist on classic brunch. The shakshuka was good flavors-wise but my eggs were both overcooked. The portion size is huge though, especially since you get a whole mini loaf of (apparently housemade) challah. The bread has a nice crusty exterior and stretchy interior and is perfect for dipping in the tomato sauce. I also enjoyed mixing the tahini with the salad to enhance the flavors, The halloumi sticks which we shared were super crispy. I also liked the nutella rugalach, though some of our pieces were burnt (not sure if intentional). Overall seems like a nice chain for a casual brunch with healthier options! read more

I wanted to give a shout out to our server/waitress for the excellent service. She was simply amazing. The people that helped he out bringing our food were so kind. I wanted to be sure I add Jennifers name. I wasn't feeling well so I forgot to do so. Jennifer was awesome. Thanks to her I felt better. Food was excellent. We try to find different places to and try their good. This is a place we're very happy to have found. When we arrived, seated promptly, our server was so kind and helpful. The place slowly filled up to capacity. It got a bit loud with all the different Conversations going on. They have a coffee bar as well. This is a sit down converse with who you are with. Food takes time to come out so sip you coffee or drink and enjoy. read more

Review is mainly based on visiting during their happy hour since most of what we ordered came from that menu other than the drinks. We ordered a few coffees including a Nutella latte, a cortado, and a Turkish coffee. All of them were good and well made. For food we tried several items like the halloumi cheese sticks, a salad, a margarita pizza, and a shawarma plate. We were really impressed with the pricing during that time and felt like it was a great deal for the quality and portion sizes. I have never been here outside of that window but it definitely felt worth it. We sat out on the patio which was a nice experience and made the visit feel relaxed and enjoyable. Our server Demetrius was wonderful and very attentive which added a lot to the overall experience. We had a great time at Café Landwer and I would definitely come back. read more

We loved our first trip to Cafe Landwer! My family all ordered their famous chicken schnitzel and the portion size was ENORMOUS!! The chicken was super crispy but not dry, and we got it with a side of "crushed potatoes" instead of fries which is small potatoes that are hand crushed and then fried to a crispy finish, sort of like potato skins. They were delicious and we ended up taking food home because of the generous portions. Definitely a great deal for the moderate cost. This is sort of a hybrid german/mediterranean cafe that also leans into artisan coffee. It started in Germany but rebuilt in Israel and then opened over 80 locations there before expanding to the US and Canada. Our location in Vegas has almost been open a year but they have another one in Santa Monica and that's about it for the West Coast, although there are others in the east. Given their menu, they're happy to make you Schnitzel but also have items like schwarma, falafel, etc. although I also saw someone with a burger and it looked huge! They also told us they have an on-site baker so they had a lot of made to order dessert items and it was clear we hadn't even scratched the surface of their varied menu. Service was uniformly excellent. We ordered spinach feta rolls that are hand made at time of order and the manager came out to apologize but to tell us that they weren't happy with the first batch so they wanted a few extra minutes to remake the order from scratch for us which was refreshingly transparent and thoughtful. So - likely something for everyone and we'll definitely head back. Loved this place and it felt very reasonable for the cost. read more

This place keeps getting better! When they first opened it was counter service that was brought to your table, but now it's table service which enhances the experience. Staff was attentive and friendly but the food was the real star. My son had the pancakes, which was actually a cast iron skillet of three. Served on the side were fruit, syrup, Nutella and whipped cream which he loved. My mom had the avocado toast and my husband had the hallumi sandwich. Not being a big egg person, I went with pasta bolognese. We were there at 10 on Sunday so I love the option of lunch choices. Recommend making a reservation it was starting to fill up. Great restaurant in town featuring Mediterranean/Israeli cuisine! We stopped in for lunch and were seated right away. Nice and bright ambiance inside. Friendly service. I ordered the Salmon salad and a halva espresso martini and my bf got the short rib shakshuka. The espresso martini was just okay, I was expecting it to taste more halva-y. The salad was a huge portion and it was simple but good and healthy. The avocado was brown which was sorta weird for them to serve that way but that's ok. It was good but if I were to come back, I'd get something else. My bf loved the shakshuka which was also a massive portion. I had a bite and it was really nice and flavorful. We left stuffed! I'm curious to try their rosalach which is rolled dough with Nutella, I might have to come back here to try it! read more

Cafe Landwer offers a great upscale café atmosphere with a clean, inviting aesthetic. The indoor temperature was perfect, and there is also outdoor seating with misters for those wanting to enjoy the weather. The menu truly has something for everyone, with unique Mediterranean influences woven throughout both the food and drink selections. The Turkish coffee was the best I have had so far, and my wife loved the house special blend tea, which even helped settle her stomach. The breakfast sandwich and smashed potatoes were both spot on. Service overall had highlights, especially from the host and what I believe was the manager, who were both attentive and welcoming. Our waiter unfortunately missed a few items from our initial order, possibly due to a language barrier, and did not return after our food arrived. We ended up needing to flag down others for water refills and our check. Overall, a very enjoyable experience with quality food, unique flavors, and a great atmosphere that makes it worth visiting again. read more

Came here for brunch on Saturday after church. The food was delicious. I had the smoothie, daughter had the pancake breakfast. The smoothie was fresh, no sugar added so pure and natural. They give large servings. My daughter enjoyed her meal. The service took a bit longer than expected but the server was professional and patient since this was our first time coming. The ambiance was nice quiet and the patio was peaceful although you do hear traffic passing by since this location is near the main street. read more
