Peanut Butter Pie is phenomenal. (12.19.25)
    Carroll N.

12.19.25 Friendly service, though our table had mixed feelings about the food. I ordered the cheesesteak with fries and a slice of peanut butter pie. The steak was overcooked for my taste, but the fries were excellent, and the pie was absolutely divine. The rest of my family really enjoyed their entrées. We did have a funny moment when my brother‑in‑law tried to order a dessert they didn't have... then chose another one they also didn't have. He finally settled on the tiramisu, and our server ended up giving it to him complimentary, which was a thoughtful touch.

    Great surrounding!

If you are looking for a home style eatery that has plates overflowing with eats, check out Ned's Southern Kitchen. The atmosphere is open and friendly. I was with a group who were hungry for the Southern comfort foods and was invited to check out a new place. Everyone enjoyed their meals and the service was really attentive. You were able to get a sense of that down home family place to go. Enjoy your meal and settle in for an abundance of food.

Shoutout to our local community heroes ! Who knew that I would be able to enjoy on of the best spinach pies ever made at Ned's! When the specials were announced to our table, I was like say less! This beauty was presented with a crust so crispy, flaky, delicate and then generously filled with savory spinach goodness with creamy feta.... Taste the Love!! I savored every bite and did not even let anyone try to taste some! They made their choice... I have no regrets! I know that they all loved their entrees, because theirs was gone as quickly as mine! I noticed that towards the end, I kept cutting the last pieces smaller than the previous, because I was trying to make it last longer! But alas, all good things must come to an end... until next time ... Easter 2026 is dropping the mic !!

The food is great "American" style with a twist. Service is always spot on. No waiting on refills of drinks no long wait to order. The ambiance is very casual and laid back. We come every week. We ask for Tony for r Crystal just because they know our tastes.

Neds is still on my favorites list. I ordered the Southside salad and it was packed with flavor -- veggies, fresh, and really well balanced. The service was quick, the food came out fresh and everything tasted amazing. Highly recommend if you're looking for something light and filling.

One of my top restaurants to get good grub in St. Augustine that's not hipster, touristy nor over-the-top. It's like the epitome of the St. Augustine we used to know growing up. The service at Ned's is consistently great! Michelle was our server and she was very personable, efficient and gave outstanding customer service. The entire staff was amazing and didn't miss a beat from the chefs to the gals at the counter. Come as you are... There's definitely something on the menu for everyone's palate. I tried the recommended Flounder Pesada lunch special and the fish was perfectly seasoned, cooked and sauced paired with a fresh garlic, butter and lemon pasta and bread. My meal also came with string beans and carrots that went nicely with the meal. I had plenty of food to enjoy so the portions are very generous. If you like fish, this was excellent! The calamari and fried green tomatoes are fantastic starters to share and if you have room, their peanut butter pie is worth getting or order one of each dessert to pass around. Their black coffee was good and strong which I certainly appreciate when paired with desserts. Overall, Ned's Southside Kitchen is a real local winner with delicious food options. Just a fantastic little diner all around! 5-STARS

This is a must visit restaurant too. If you love southern food, this is a right place. I love their dinner menu. But this time we went for lunch. And they got a lots of delicious food too. I had frittata, love it. With some veggies. The service is okay, you gotta little patience because they have a lots of customers. The restaurant is very casual. And people talking loud enough. Anyway, prices are reasonable.

Very cool dining experience! I had the Southside salad (which was as big as my head) with grilled chicken with a nutritional yeast and garlic dressing. Our server was friendly and attentive. We were sat right away in this cozy restaurant.

We finally got there tonight and were happy to see almost every table was full (love that for local small businesses). I had the hummus and it was very good, but unfortunately the bread and pita it came with had many pieces that were hard. I also had the plain pirogies which came with a side of sour cream and they were good, not amazing but good, and had a generous amount of potatoes and cheese in them. My husband had the Spicy Coconut Soup to start and said it was good (I don't like spicy so didn't try it) and he also had the Kielbasa Special with a side of the Bigos Hunter Stew. He really enjoyed everything. We will go back to try some of the other dishes, but I just wish the the bread and pita for my hummus was fresh and that's why I only gave it 4 stars.

The food is great, fresh and the serving size is awesome. They have $15 specials with an appetizer which is a good value. My husband and my MIL almost always order the small salad with gyro meat. Susan and I visited The Great Greek Mediterranean Grill expecting a traditional sit down restaurant…read moreand instead discovered a counter service spot that completely won us over. From the moment we walked in, the space felt clean, bright, and welcoming, with a simple Mediterranean style that made it comfortable to dine in. There was a steady stream of customers coming and going, both dining in and picking up takeout, which immediately told us this place has built a loyal following. The food is where The Great Greek really shines. We started with the four dip combo, and honestly, that alone is worth the visit. The hummus was smooth, creamy, and full of flavor without being heavy. The tirokafteri had a bold kick that built just enough heat to keep things interesting. Paired with plenty of warm, soft pita, it is an easy dish to share and one we would happily order every time. For our main dishes, I ordered the gyro, which I often use as a benchmark when trying a Greek restaurant. The meat was flavorful, the pita was fresh, and the tzatziki sauce really stood out, tying everything together beautifully. The feta fries were another highlight and were hard to stop eating. Susan ordered the Atlantic salmon, and it ended up being the biggest surprise of the meal. It was cooked perfectly, well seasoned, and paired with sides that complemented the fish rather than overpowering it. Portion sizes are generous, pricing feels very fair for the quality and amount of food, and service was friendly and efficient throughout our visit. Even though this is a counter service restaurant, staff brought the food to the table and checked in to make sure everything was just right. We even left with leftovers and dessert to enjoy later, which is always a good sign. What we thought would be a quick meal turned into a really enjoyable dining experience. This is a restaurant we will absolutely be returning to and one we are happy to recommend to anyone looking for great Greek food done well.

I specially requested a dill sauce on the side, there was nowhere to add on so I was not sure if I would get it or not because there was nowhere way to charge. Everything was prepared fresh and my dinner was so tasty and flavorful. I even got the dill which tasted like it was prepared in house. Tasty! (The DoorDash driver was very polite and communicative as well, I added an extra $10 tip as DD sent two drivers and there was all this confusion, plus I added a frozen Coke from McDonalds. Sheesh..I really like those things). I don't very often get gyro (lamb) because usually when I do, I find it's never seasoned properly or it just seems like it's dry or artificial..like something is just...well, off. I was on the fence staring at the menu between 2 things for what felt like 45 minutes (in reality it probably was 10 but I was having physical hunger + head hunger so yeah = 45 minutes. Anyway, I was thinking I was just going to get something that really can't be screwed up much. Greek salad with a chicken shish kebab ( I guess given the right person, it can be messed up lol) but I'm SO glad I chose what I did. The lamb gyro pita sandwich. Their chefs know what they're doing and it was truly authentic. Reminded me of the food I used to get from this little adorable authentic Greek restaurant when I was living back home in Buffalo that was owned by the sweetest older couple. They lived there but were born and raised and Greece. They used to show me and my kids pictures of how it was back home in Greece, we met their beautiful daughters who came to Buffalo for college (which is why they uprooted their existence..aww so sweet!) and shared their stories with us. We went there almost daily and my oldest daughter ended up working for them. This felt like it was many moons ago. Nevertheless, my sandwich was real, my pita was soft, pillowy, warm. I would really love to come there one day and dine in. Bodrum is pretty much right around the corner from me. I bet the owners and employees are all really nice! You can tell when love goes into food. I graduated from culinary school myself, about 20 years ago. Sometimes I enjoy something so much and I just think back on those days when I was a cook and miss it. Miss the joy that food used to bring people. The togetherness at that table your entrees brought. You just know! Thanks for a great meal last night, with love and kindness going into it. I just felt your restaurant needed recognition. It was a little bit of a drive away, near the beach, and there was absolutely no parking on a Friday night. My husband dropped me off and circled while I placed a few to go orders. It was a cute little shop with donuts, shakes, and ice cream. The donuts are not traditional donuts; more like deep fried donut holes that are covered with all kinds of yummy toppings. They're also served nice and hot and in 10 packs. They had lots of cool donut flavors like: Dark Delight, Maple Bacon, , White Tella, and Love U Matcha, The prices range from $8.75 to $9.50 per box. They all sounded yummy; but we decided on Twix Fix, drizzled with caramel, melted chocolate, and cookies, and Lotus Crunch, which was topped with melted Biscoff cookies. Our order was ready in about 5 minutes and the bag of donuts was nice and warm. We ate them when we got back home. They were more chewy and heavier than regular donut holes, but rich and delicious. You could really only eat a few; so a box of 10 is a decent sized dessert for 2 people to share. Lukumades is definitely a very unique donut experience and worth supporting because they're not a huge chain. You'll be glad you tried them....and its worth the drive.
