this is supposed to be a Chicken Shawarma Sandwich with hummus for an up charge (came with no hummus and 5 pieces of bland chicken)

for starters, upon arrival we were told that we shouldn't order through a delivery service again because it charges the business, unprofessional to bring up to a customer. Then comes the food... Completely bland, little to no flavor besides greasy vegetables and garlic. Beef kebab was unseasoned and tough, hummus wasn't even as good as walmart brand, tabbouli genuinely had no flavor whatsoever. grape leaves were the worst and greasiest i've ever had. Chicken Shawarma sandwich came with no hummus that i paid extra for and came in a shambolic state. DO NOT EAT HERE

Great middle eastern food. I had the chicken Sherman wrap and it was great. I didn't see Kibbe on the menu but asked and the lady with a big smile asked how many pieces. I said two and got kibbe. My friend had the sampler plate. It was good oh and there hummus very good also. Hidden gem kinda small but good. And very friendly definitely family owned.

This meal was DELISH!!! They cooked the food right in front of me with fresh ingredients, and this meal was as healthy as it was filling. The owners of the restaurant could not have been kinder, and the service was quick and friendly. The chicken was seasoned well along with the veggies and rice, and the hummus and garlic paste were bursting with flavor, and the pita bread which was served with the meal complimented all the bold flavors perfectly. The interior of the restaurant was authentic and charming and I truly felt relaxed and at home. I plan to go back SOON!!! Great meal. Great spot. (Also, there is a discount offered for those who pay in cash.)

We just tried this hole in the wall Greek resturant. So good!!!!!!!!!! Everything is made here and the ladies that run it are straight from My Big Fat Greek Wedding!!! They were so kind and funny.

My wife and I have visited The Ice Plant several times over the years, and it remains one of our…read morefavorite dining destinations in St. Augustine. The combination of imaginative cocktails, exceptional food, and a unique atmosphere makes every visit memorable. The cocktail program is outstanding. We enjoy trying a variety of their exotic and inventive drinks, and they never disappoint. The flavors are bold, creative, and unlike anything you'll find at a typical restaurant bar. The Yellow Submarine cocktail is quite possibly the best drink I have ever consumed. Made with curry-infused Bermuda black rum, lime, ginger, and Asian five-spice brown sugar syrup, it sounded unusual on paper but came together beautifully. I enjoyed it so much that I ordered four of them that evening, something I rarely do. That was three years ago, and despite returning several times since then, I have never seen it on the menu again. The food is equally impressive. Two years ago, I ordered the Skillet Roasted New York Strip served with Yukon Gold potato-anna, roasted asparagus and spring onions, watercress, and black truffle hollandaise. To this day, it remains one of the top five restaurant meals I have ever eaten. Every component on the plate was exceptional. The steak was perfectly prepared, the crispy potato galette was irresistible, and the black truffle hollandaise elevated the entire dish to another level. It was the kind of meal that stays with you long after the plate is cleared. I would gladly drive 300 miles just to eat it again. Most recently, I had the wild mushroom bisque, and it was the best soup I have ever consumed. Rich, creamy, buttery, intensely mushroomy, and perfectly balanced, it was everything a mushroom soup should be. The addition of crispy pickled onions and crème fraîche added texture and contrast that made an already outstanding soup even better. My wife and I enjoyed it so much that we returned the very next day hoping to order it again, only to discover it had already rotated off the menu. My only complaint about The Ice Plant is that some of their greatest creations seem to disappear as quickly as they arrive. While I appreciate the constantly evolving menu and understand that seasonal changes are part of what makes the restaurant special, there are certain items that deserve a permanent home. The Yellow Submarine cocktail, the wild mushroom bisque, and the Skillet Roasted New York Strip with black truffle hollandaise are three of the finest things I have experienced there. The fact that I can vividly remember one of these items from three years ago and another from two years ago says everything. Great restaurants serve good food. Truly special restaurants create dishes and drinks that stay with you for years. The Ice Plant has done that for me more than once, and that is why we continue to return whenever we visit St. Augustine.

When I arrived with my pregnant wife and my service dog, he asked somewhat curtly if it was a service dog. After I confirmed and thanked him, he rudely placed the menu on the table, turned around without saying another word or showing any basic courtesy, and just walked away with his back to us. It was a pretty cold and uncomfortable welcome. That said, the restaurant is absolutely charming. I really loved the interior ambiance--it's cozy, well-decorated, and has a very pleasant vibe. The food was extremely delicious. We ordered the Half Pound Ice Plant Burger and it was juicy, fresh, and packed with flavor. You could taste the quality in every single bite--the meat was perfect, the ingredients fresh, and everything very well balanced. Definitely one of the best burgers I've had recently. Despite the initial host experience, I would return without hesitation for the food and the atmosphere. Highly recommended, but they could improve the initial greeting.

The place is nice inside, welcoming and selling some cool things alongside the food items. We both had a platter, one with falafels and the other with the marinaded chicken. It was jasmine rice and very tasty. We will have more items in future visits. Also, the platters came with a cup of their lentil soup, which for us was slightly different as it must have been made with tomatoes. Stop here and give them a try. You will love it!

Just delicious and hits the spot every time. I've eaten at Bodrum a handful of times, but have ordered for delivery probably a bit more and everything is just as good as if you are sitting right there in the restaurant. However, I do love eating in because the ambiance of the restaurant is wonderful with the owners not leaving out one detail to make diners feel right at home. We are so lucky to have such a wide swatch of Mediterranean restaurants throughout Jacksonville. Bodrum is right there at the top.

We started with Hummus and Tata Chips, which was crispy pita chips with a standard (but delicious) hummus. The Tata chips had great flavor, like Stacy's Pita Chips but better! The firat course was White Bean Fahsulia, which was a rich and hearty bean stew that packed huge flavor! Second course was Falafel with Tahini Sauce. These were a nice little bite between dishes. The center of the falafel was light, fluffy, and flavorful! Course 3 was Masaka-Ah served with Timan Asfur Rice. While this dish was good, it was my least favorite of the evening. I ate half of the stew and passed the rest off to my husband, who loved it! Course 4 brought us Dolma's served with Roasted Vegetables. I LOVE stuffed grape leaves and these were seriously on point! Tart and tangy up front followed by a whole lot of savory. Course 5, my favorite, was the Spicy Curry Chicken served with White Rice. This was the dish that made me fall in love with Fast Eddy's food and had me coming back for more. I took a couple bites and got a to-go container to enjoy this later at home. Finally, we reached the end of our dinner and Course 6, dessert, came out. Freshly made, sweet and decadent, traditional baklava. Filo dough, crushed walnuts, butter, and honey. This just melted away once it hit my mouth. I don't eat a whole lot of sweets but this had me closing my eyes and enjoying every bite. Every time I've visited Fast Eddy's the staff has been amazing, friendly, and hospitable. And of course, the place being completely decked out with rock and metal music memorabilia, i feel right at home here. Oh, and there's never a time where I leave that place without an order of the Pasta Anatoli to-go!

It was so phenomenal and the chicken moist flavorful outstanding I cannot brag enough about how phenomenal that chicken dish was. Now let's talk about the vegetables. They were seasoned to perfection and cooked where they were still crunchy but yet they were soft enough that you didn't have to worry. The vegetables were outstanding and I wanted to get second helping on the vegetables they were that good! The pita bread looked to be homemade, but given it was Passover I was not able to try it. I came in as a solo diner and was seated quickly, although my table was kind of nestled underneath the high outdoor bar. That meant hearing some of the bartender's phone conversations. I ordered a glass of Lebanese rose wine and liked it! But my meal wasn't impressive. The vegetarian grape leaves (one of my favorite dishes, generally) were OK, although several were split up on my plate (but hey, it happens). I thought the flavor was underwhelming; there was a lot of acidity but nothing else. I also ordered a side of "extra crispy seasoned potato fries" which just turned out to be generic crinkle fries with salt. Definitely wouldn't order those again. I thought maybe there would be some sort of twist on them? The big frustration was service. The restaurant was far from full when I went -- I counted maybe a dozen seated tables. After I finished eating, I spent more than 30 minutes trying to get my waiter's attention to get my check even as I sat with my plates pushed away, glasses empty, and credit card out. He walked by multiple times to wait on and check with other tables, and I saw at least five other employees working in the front of house and walking by me. Even when I got his attention for the check, it took quite a few minutes to get it, despite him walking out to other tables. (Although I will note he seemed busier than the other employees!) My check before tip came to $24, which felt on the pricey side for what I got. I hope I'm wrong, but I got the vibe that I wasn't exactly their favorite type of guest -- a solo diner who wasn't smoking hookah. (I noticed another solo non-smoker go similarly unnoticed by staff.) Maybe they heavily favor regulars, too. But they weren't at capacity, and I'd have gotten out quicker had I been able to pay. Maybe it was just an off night.
