this is supposed to be a Chicken Shawarma Sandwich with hummus for an up charge (came with no hummus and 5 pieces of bland chicken) - A partially consumed falafel wrap with pieces of falafel, chopped lettuce, and tomato, along with some sauce, is shown on a plastic bag. The wrap appears to be from a Middle Eastern eatery, with remnants of pita bread and ingredients visible.

for starters, upon arrival we were told that we shouldn't order through a delivery service again because it charges the business, unprofessional to bring up to a customer. Then comes the food... Completely bland, little to no flavor besides greasy vegetables and garlic. Beef kebab was unseasoned and tough, hummus wasn't even as good as walmart brand, tabbouli genuinely had no flavor whatsoever. grape leaves were the worst and greasiest i've ever had. Chicken Shawarma sandwich came with no hummus that i paid extra for and came in a shambolic state. DO NOT EAT HERE

Great middle eastern food. I had the chicken Sherman wrap and it was great. I didn't see Kibbe on the menu but asked and the lady with a big smile asked how many pieces. I said two and got kibbe. My friend had the sampler plate. It was good oh and there hummus very good also. Hidden gem kinda small but good. And very friendly definitely family owned.

This meal was DELISH!!! They cooked the food right in front of me with fresh ingredients, and this meal was as healthy as it was filling. The owners of the restaurant could not have been kinder, and the service was quick and friendly. The chicken was seasoned well along with the veggies and rice, and the hummus and garlic paste were bursting with flavor, and the pita bread which was served with the meal complimented all the bold flavors perfectly. The interior of the restaurant was authentic and charming and I truly felt relaxed and at home. I plan to go back SOON!!! Great meal. Great spot. (Also, there is a discount offered for those who pay in cash.)

We just tried this hole in the wall Greek resturant. So good!!!!!!!!!! Everything is made here and the ladies that run it are straight from My Big Fat Greek Wedding!!! They were so kind and funny.

Nothing was greasy and everything was seasoned well. This was my first time trying lamb and honestly I couldn't even tell which is a huge plus for me (it wasn't gamey at all). I had a piece of their Dubai chocolate and wow, the cake part was super moist and rich! Also tried a little bit of their lentil soup with a warm pita bread, a little bit of ice cream and baklava from my family's plate since I was too full to order my own and everything was perfection. The best part is you don't get that gross feeling after eating because everything was so clean/fresh. Lastly, the owner was super friendly and attentive. We will definitely be coming back! 2/22/26

The food is absolutely delicious, and your host will make you feel very welcome. Also.....DO NOT leave without savoring a plate of their homemade baklava, served with goat's milk ice cream. Some of the best we've had anywhere in the world! As a side note, the pricing is very good. $12.99 will get you a delicious lunch with sides and beverage. Highly recommend.

The place is nice inside, welcoming and selling some cool things alongside the food items. We both had a platter, one with falafels and the other with the marinaded chicken. They played had incredible salad and a red cabbage salad. Both were excellent! The bread was sold and warm and very fresh too. Then there was some white rice included and it was delicious too! It was jasmine rice and very tasty. We will have more items in future visits. Also, the platters came with a cup of their lentil soup, which for us was slightly different as it must have been made with tomatoes. Stop here and give them a try. You will love it!

Just delicious and hits the spot every time. I've eaten at Bodrum a handful of times, but have ordered for delivery probably a bit more and everything is just as good as if you are sitting right there in the restaurant. However, I do love eating in because the ambiance of the restaurant is wonderful with the owners not leaving out one detail to make diners feel right at home. We are so lucky to have such a wide swatch of Mediterranean restaurants throughout Jacksonville. Bodrum is right there at the top.

Love Mediterranean and Middle Eastern food and Fast Eddy's popped up on Yelp and was just around the corner. Restaurant has just a few tables as well as a counter area. So very glad we found this restaurant! William is the owner and his son Will waited on us - both so friendly, helpful and personable! The menu is awesome - a great selection of appetizers, salads, soups/stews, sandwiches and main dishes - many Middle Eastern choices and a few American bites as well. My favorite thing was that dishes and menu sections are named after various family members - William's mom, dad and siblings. We started with the hummus and pita chip appetizer - so yummy! Hubs and I eat hummus everywhere we go, and this rivaled some of the best! Amazing flavor, creamy with just the right amount of olive oil, garlic and paprika. I had the falafel wrap with a side salad - really good! Hugs had the fattoush salad followed by chicken tikka kebab with grilled mixed veggies - he loved it and shared a few tastes with me - delicious! The veggies and meat were seasoned with the family's own spice mix and it's amazing! We can't wait to come back soon!

All I can say is, when you go to Fast Eddy's Quick Mideast, get the Derby Fillies sandwich! And I hereby order my readers to GO!! There are good reasons why this awesome Mediterranean cuisine outlet is as close to 5-star as you can get! First, I really like the uniqueness of this ma and pa shop. It's been here at this location now for around four years and seems to have built a nice clientele, but always welcoming of more! The wall decor is filled with pictures of Rock n Roll heroes past and present. And, yes, you will get to have your ears filled with the songs of many of these artists while you eat. I sat at the Ozzy and Randy Rhodes table and I can't say how I feel about that company! The servers were extremely courteous. Reza and Victoria were just outstanding from beginning to the end of our eating experience. I'm very grateful for their looking after us and answering our questions. Looking around at how they treated and dealt with other customers, my feeling is that this is how they treat customers consistently who visit Fast Eddy's. Both of us chose Reza's recommendations. My Derby Fillies might seems like a normal sandwich (sub type) with chicken, peppers, onions, mushrooms, American cheese on a hoagie roll. However, the way it's grilled in their "Babylonian sauce," really seals the deal on this sandwich. The sauce really blends well with this hot sandwich and you'll be thrilled you chose it! Even better yet, it is a large sandwich, so I had the other half on the next day - just as good as the first! My dearest ordered the Hammurabi burrito. This was another stellar choice as recommended by Reza once again. This sandwich is one of creativity, more than basic like the Derby. It comes on a flour tortilla with pickles, sumac onions, biryani rice, French fries, Amba sauce, chicken, along with garlic spread. Goodness I don't know a few of the items on this burrito! But it also blended excellently together and the pickles made it a treat! I got to eat from it two days in a row and it was just as good as the first day on the second! For sides, I had Mac and cheese. Yes, it was a solid Mac and cheese with some pepper in it. Our other side was the roasted vegetables. These are awesome! Both of the sides were delightful and easily shared between both of us. For dessert, we did try their homemade baklava. Well, when I tried it I knew it was unlike any baklava I've ever eaten. I knew it had to be made in-house and was a special recipe created in-shop. I was right on both counts! It was the best I've ever eaten. If you love baklava, you won't be disappointed here! Fast Eddy's is truly a superior restaurant and is now in my top five list of JAX favorites! There is good booth seating here and carry-out is available. Besides sandwiches, you'll also find soups, stews, salad options, street tacos, new world American food options, specialty choices (including spicy chicken curry, Nada's Arabic Macaroni, among others), kabobs, and more! The hard rock will play as you eat. It was loud when we came in for a while, but to their credit, they did lower the volume around the middle of our time there. Make a visit! This is a can't miss restaurant! Recommend: HIGHEST

It was so phenomenal and the chicken moist flavorful outstanding I cannot brag enough about how phenomenal that chicken dish was. Now let's talk about the vegetables. They were seasoned to perfection and cooked where they were still crunchy but yet they were soft enough that you didn't have to worry. The vegetables were outstanding and I wanted to get second helping on the vegetables they were that good! The pita bread looked to be homemade, but given it was Passover I was not able to try it. So long story short I'm coming back Friday night because that pita bread looked like it was in-house made and it looks so so good! This restaurant I have to say is out of this world and worthy of 10 stars! This is somewhere you definitely must try and I believe you too will give them 10 stars!!!!

I came in as a solo diner and was seated quickly, although my table was kind of nestled underneath the high outdoor bar. That meant hearing some of the bartender's phone conversations. I ordered a glass of Lebanese rose wine and liked it! But my meal wasn't impressive. The vegetarian grape leaves (one of my favorite dishes, generally) were OK, although several were split up on my plate (but hey, it happens). I thought the flavor was underwhelming; there was a lot of acidity but nothing else. I also ordered a side of "extra crispy seasoned potato fries" which just turned out to be generic crinkle fries with salt. Definitely wouldn't order those again. I thought maybe there would be some sort of twist on them? The big frustration was service. The restaurant was far from full when I went -- I counted maybe a dozen seated tables. After I finished eating, I spent more than 30 minutes trying to get my waiter's attention to get my check even as I sat with my plates pushed away, glasses empty, and credit card out. He walked by multiple times to wait on and check with other tables, and I saw at least five other employees working in the front of house and walking by me. Even when I got his attention for the check, it took quite a few minutes to get it, despite him walking out to other tables. (Although I will note he seemed busier than the other employees!) My check before tip came to $24, which felt on the pricey side for what I got. I hope I'm wrong, but I got the vibe that I wasn't exactly their favorite type of guest -- a solo diner who wasn't smoking hookah. (I noticed another solo non-smoker go similarly unnoticed by staff.) Maybe they heavily favor regulars, too. But they weren't at capacity, and I'd have gotten out quicker had I been able to pay. Maybe it was just an off night. But it's just not a great feeling to be ignored.
