Bad smelling worst Indian restaurant ever

Worst restaurant ever. Smelled like something died in there. And the staff was extremely rude and unprofessional. No wonder there was literally no one eating there. We didn't eat just ended up leaving. Worst Indian joint ever.

SUCH GOOD FOOD! I've only been a few times but they get me right every. single. time. The service is great and the family that runs it is always so nice to me whether im eating in or taking it to go, they are so sweet. The first time my friends and I ate here it was honestly life changing. Definitely a hole in the wall place but damn is it good. 10/10 recommend

I love this place! Best biryani around and the staff is super friendly and helpful with suggestions. The restaurant is clean the ambiance is nice. I used to live closer and come here a. Good deal, now it's about an hour drive, so when I'm in town I definitely stop in. The food is definitely with the drive. I love the Biryani and my wife loves the shrimp curry. The Madras are great too. I'll be back...again and again and, well, you get it

Butter chicken curry and garlic naan

Called in a pick up order, gentleman was very nice when taking my order. Restaurant is so cute inside, will definitely have to come and eat in one day! Call me simple but I got the butter chicken with garlic naan, oh my goodness it is so delicious. Can't wait to order again

    Great food

We debated going here after looking at reviews but we were all glad we did. The reviews certainly don't represent the experience we had. The dining room was nice, spacious and clean. The service was friendly and prompt drinks came out quickly as did the appetizers. The food was all delicious. It smelled so good, we all started before I took pictures. We would definitely recommend and will definitely be back again. The samosas were great. The chicken vindaloo was spicy and full of flavor. The tikka masala was creamy and tasty and the lamb korma was delicious too. The naan...... perfect! If you like Indian food you will like it here.

Party of 3 on a Sunday evening at 7pm - very friendly service. Food was excellent and good sized portions. In fact, I ordered the Lamb Chops in Indian Spices and can not say enough about how good they were. We will visit again!

    Very nice interior.

I've been craving indian food for a long time and was thrilled to find one in my own backyard. We finally found a chance to try it and were not disappointed! Food is delicious and authentic, service was excellent and polite, and the interior beautifully decorated. I had the tandoori mixed grill which comes with tandoori chicken, chicken kabob, lamb kabob, and shrimp. The flavors were intense and exquisite without being overwhelming. The butter chicken was excellent as well. Rice comes with the meals on the side and is okay. Pro tip: Order the naan. Fresh, flavorful, and utterly delicious. The garlic naan made the perfect savory complement to the main dishes, but the peshwari naan tasted more like a dessert, very satisfying. The mango lassi also comes highly recommended. Bottom line is we will return, and in the near future. So many other dishes to try if we can avoid repeat ordering since the first experience was so delish!

I really wanted to like this place. We were on a road trip and I was craving the butter chicken. I was ordering naan and they told me they had none because they were too busy. There was literally 2 more tables of 4 in the place. The rest of the tables (over 10) were empty. Less than 10 min later, the table next to us had 2 baskets. The butter chicken sauce was good but the chicken was hard and rubbery. It was 3 long chicken tender like pieces. The rice was decent but not the best. My husband ordered the Namaste Biryani which was combination. We asked to make sure it wasn't spicy. We'd never tried and didn't know. She said on a scale of 1-10 it was a 3 because of the kinds of spices used but no additional spice was added for heat. He likes spicy but didn't want it because he wasn't feeling well. Turned out to be way spicier than 3 out of 10. He ended up eating my leftover because He couldn't finish. Also, the menu says the Biryani comes with chopped cucumber, tomato & and egg on top, which it did NOT. When we asked for it, she said it's "and old old old old old menu" that they don't do that. Shouldn't you mention that when someone orders it?

The food is made to order, and they even bring out a small sample first to make sure the spice level is just right, which felt thoughtful and very personal. The location is fantastic right across from the castle in the heart of Old St. Augustine. Before sitting down to eat, we walked around and checked out the Southern Lights Candle Shop nearby and picked up a few things. It's a very nice shop and highly recommended if you're in the area. We had the butter chicken, spinach chicken, and lamb with rice and naan (bread), and everything was absolutely delicious. The setting is a super cute outdoor garden with a relaxed, cozy vibe. They have fans for warmer days and heat lamps when it's cooler, making it comfortable year-round. The drink selection is solid as well. I had two Indian Rupee beers the IPA and the lager and both tasted amazing. The lager was my favorite, but I'd definitely recommend trying both. My wife really enjoyed the wine and sangria; the red sangria was her favorite, though all three were excellent. Great food, warm hospitality, an awesome atmosphere, and a prime location in Old St. Augustine definitely a place worth checking out.

The only thing that wasn't what we thought was the lychee martinis. There were no lychee's but the pour was strong. We ordered some mango juice and it made it good! All the food was fresh and flavorful. Everything came out hot. The best naan we've ever tasted. We had to order two baskets! Tried the chili fried corn! OMG we have never tasted anything like it. It's hard to explain! The vibe and decor is everything!! Me and my daughter were grooving in our chairs the whole time enjoying the food and their cultural music. We will definitely be back to support! We actually prayed for this business to be successful so we can try everything on the menu!! And before we left many people started coming in. Pros: -consistently get food I expect -naan and other breads are done well -gobi Manchurian is fantastic -meat typically not overcooked, which I find is a common issue with any stewed dish Cons: -expensive (though to be fair, who isn't overpriced these days?) -some bland dishes (korma and maybe one other I have tried but can't remember what dish) -charge for chutneys -no cold onion chutney For the last two things, it is commonplace in the northeast for Indian restaurants to include at least 3 chutneys - tamarind, mint and onion. He asked me where I had been and I named the places and he said, in essence, "do you expect to find authentic Italian food at Olive Garden". Their prices look high at first but then the portions arrive. A couple can EASILY share n entree and even have some to take home. The Tikka Masala and Butter chicken are both DELICIOUS and here is the surprising part for me. I am a dyed in the wool carnivore and even I like (and will order) the vegetarian dishes.
