Nice fat ones that are nice and juicy. Never dried out and they have several flavors to choose from. I like the garlic parmesan best. There must be a secret to the way they cook them. I think actually I would say they may have the best wings in Ithaca. Staff has always been pleasant and they get food made when they say they will. After Saturday night closing time I realized that Ned's screwed up my credit card purchase, charging me $3000+ for a $3 soda! They are closed on Sunday but it seems at some point over the weekend, Ned's tried to fix it, and got the amount wrong again. By the time I was able to go back on Monday afternoon, I was not happy. It eventually got ironed out and my card was reimbursed and I must say the owner(?) Philip was a gentleman. He was apologetic, hands-on in trying to get the matter resolved, and was generous in his desire to make things good. As a former small business person myself, I was impressed. Love their eggplant parmesean! It sells out FAST tho. The owner (& new one) were both super friendly and remembered us when we first moved in (before the pandemic). First of all, don't be fooled by four star, 39 reviews. You need to add one more zero at the end to make it 390. This is Ithaca and I'm guessing yelpers are limited here. We brought a group of 20 people and the owner quickly knew how to serve us right away. It's not a full service restaurant. You order or pick out a pizza and you can sit yourself. We ordered a couple of pizza slices and they warmed it up for us. I tried one with olive, spinach and tomatoes. There's nothing like eating crispy crust pizza. Very delicious! We also got some chicken wings and it came with a blue cheese dressing with chunks of cheese in it. I think it's made from scratch. I've never tasted such a flavorful blue cheese dressing. I miss the real "Ned"! Ned's Pizza used to be great. Real NY Pizza--perfect foldable crust, just the right ratio of sauce to cheese, and of course, some of that grease! When I was living out of state for awhile, Ned's was one of the first places I'd go when I was back for a visit. But since Ned himself retired, the quality has really gone down. I've tried it a few times in the past year, each time hoping my experience was an anomoly, but tonight's pizza was the last time I'll go there for my pizza fix. First and foremost, the crust just isn't good. There's none of that soft, doughy, tasty edge, or the tell-tale floppiness of the small end of a slice. Instead, the crust is hard and flat, and not in the intentional way a thin crust pizza would be. And there's no taste to it at all. I always order extra cheese when I get pizza, and not for the first time with these pizzas, I've wondered how skimpy the cheese must be on a regular pizza, because it sure doesn't seem like an extra cheese pizza. Ithaca still has some great pizza places, but this was the only one I'd found with really terrific NY pizza, and I will miss having a place to get my "fix" when that's what I'm craving. read more

The pizza here is usually very good. The subs however, are the worst I've ever had! I ordered an eggplant parm a while back. Big, thick, crusty bread with eggplant that looked like they sprinkled it on from a salt shaker. Shame on me they fooled me twice. Tried a meatball sub tonight. Big thick crusty bread, little meatballs that had been sliced paper thin and still didn't cover the bottom of the bread! Not cheap either! I was so mad I didn't ask for a refund. My dad would always get a pie from a nice casual place we knew that made amazing pizza, and Ned's Pizza would be my go-to place for a weekly pizza. This place is exactly what I look for in a great casual pizza joint: inexpensive and tasty. The crust is nice and crisp in each bite, and there's a good balance between sauce and cheese. I see a lot of complaints here on the gyro, like, what are you doing ordering a gyro from a pizza place to begin with? Walked here last night with my wife. I have lived in Ithaca for 16 years and have tried every pizza place I could think of in town. I was always sad that there was nowhere in town to get a good pizza. Not really at least. Always too expensive and too American. Just not pizza. Last night we had a medium pizza with hot peppers (banana peppers so not crazy hot) and a soda. It was the best pizza we have had in town by a factor 1000. The gentleman who made it was the very definition of hospitality. He made it carefully, brought it to us with joy and waited a little bit around to make sure it was to our liking. He came back a few minutes later with two more glasses of soda and confident we were having a blast left us alone to finish our meal. The crust was perfectly cooked, not greasy, nicely colorer underneath yet moist on the inside, the peppers were delicious, the cheese perfect. Man it was a gift. The entire meal was $15! We walked back home as happy as one can be after a meal. We slept wonderfully and this morning woke up feeling light and hungry. I always wait until the next day to fully examine a meal. Ned, your pizza is amazing. We will be back often. That's for sure! read more

Really good pizza at a fair price. Obviously if you want the best from them, order a full pie they make just for you. By the slice is less than spectacular. They just warm it up and if you want anything special they just throw on extra toppings and throw it back in the oven for a second. THE REAL REASON TO GO HERE - THE WINGS. Best I have had since moving to Ithaca. They are fried hard (but not overcooked) and have the perfect amount of sauce.
