We usually have a really good meal at this restaurant (so called Italian= in name only) over the years. But recently I had the eggplant dinner, it was terrible, it looked like oatmeal on my plate. First - I really appreciate that they are open on Mondays. Decor is fun and Italy-themed. There are tables and booths and it feels spacious. Staff is friendly and super helpful. Salad bar is pretty good, but as a short person I had trouble reaching the things in the back and it was unclear whether it was ok to walk around the other side since there's a register there and it felt more like an employee area. All the salad bar things are kept under covers. This keeps things fresh and cold (or hot), but can be hard to tell what the options are since nothing is labeled. Pizza and garlic knots are included with the salad bar. Pizza is thin-crust. There was a garlic white sauce pizza that I enjoyed. The pepperoni was decent, not mind-blowing but I'd eat it again. The garlic knots were my favorite - basically drowning in butter and extreme amounts of garlic with a good fluffy rise on the bread which is exactly what I think they should be. Mmmm garlic knots. The water is awful and un-drinkable though so if you're a water person like I am, be aware you will want to order something to drink. Pasta is not available until after 4pm; the reason is that it is made fresh. That's a darn good reason to me, so we came back for dinner. My fettuccini had excellent flavor although the pasta was about two minutes shy of where I would like it cooked to and there were quite a few noodles clumping together. I really enjoyed the parmesan-forward sauce. Portions are good and this made a great lunch for me the next day too. Overall, food is okay, atmosphere is good, service is great. read more

Friendly service on our lunch visit and the salad bar was fantastic. Food tasted fresh not like it sat there since yesterday. Dinner was a different story. Fettucine Alfredo was undercooked beyond just aldente. The noodles were also stuck together so not appropriately spread when boiled. My fries with my burger, half of them were under an inch long with the longest fries on top. I really don't recommend the spicy burger with jalapeños. The sauce tasted black pepper forward which isn't what I look for with spice. It had a sweetness but also very high in vinegar. My burger was also way over salted. read more

I have been going to this restaurant for over 20 years. Used to be just a small pizza place and then they expanded. The food and service were always excellent. I just went there for dinner tonight and I am so disappointed. Used to get the best prime rib there. Tonight I ordered rare prime rib and it came out well done. I am not the kind of person who sends a meal back, but I absolutely had to tonight . I asked the waitress if they had any rare prime rib and she said it was all made to order. The waitress brought my dinner out and it was definitely not rare. Wasn't a speck of pink or red anywhere. I didn't even try it before I sent it back. Then the waitress came out to tell me that the cook said that they could not make a piece That was rare tonight. Don't really understand that if it was made to order. And why didn't they just come out from the kitchen and tell me that before they sent me a well done piece. Would've saved them a dinner and me from wasting my time waiting for a bad meal. I ordered fried shrimp instead. I think because they were hurrying to get my meal out to me. The shrimp were not very well cooked either. My husband was practically finished his dinner before my shrimp came out. Left not a happy camper. Plus the salad bar used to be something like $7.95 by itself and now it is almost $12 And their liquor license had lapsed, so there was no alcohol to be had. I am a wing girlie and let me tell youuuuuuu! The wings are THE BEST WINGS EVER! Genuinely the best I have ever had. Any time I come back to upstate NY I have to visit Little Venice- specifically for their wings. The pizza is 10/10 and you have to get a glass (or bottle) of the red cat. Once one of our favorites, we are saddened by their new business/menu operation. Gone are most favorites from the dinner menu. Aside from the salad bar it's largely bar food. A recent order of spaghetti with the spicy sauce brought a moderate size pile of spaghetti that was mixed in the sauce like just out of the can. We ordered the Greek salad and it was plenty for the two of us. I ordered the shrimp fettuccine with spinach and mushrooms and my husband ordered the LV special (chicken Parmesan, stuffed shells with fettuccine. The shrimp dish was delicious. There was plenty of shrimp and the portion was huge that I had leftovers. My husband did finish his pasta dish. He thought the fettuccine with a cream sauce did not match the dish and would have preferred a tomato sauce instead. We were full and did not order any dessert. If you check in on Yelp, you can get a $5 off $25 special which the waitress applied to our total bill. We would come back here again and try some of the other entrees! read more

it's really hard to write a review on the only delivery restaurant in the city of Trumansburg but here's what I can say the last three times I've gotten my food it's been cold. It's way overpriced for what you get didn't used to be, but it is now every single time I've ordered either the french fries or the tater tots. They've been soggy and cold, the onion rings didn't used to be soggy or cold, but they are now and I've stopped eating there so they may be the only delivery in town but they're not the best restaurant in town. First off, I was impressed all the way around. When we walked in, we were immediately greeted with a smile. We were told we could sit wherever we wanted, so we went into a second room away from the bar. It was a nice ambiance and quiet. They have a fresh salad bar and I mean everything seemed fresh and chilled. Nothing was bad. Multiply choices for the salad bar your meal or an add-on to your meal. We ordered a two meals and added the salad bar as an add-on for an extremely reasonable price. You can't beat it. I had the Tucson Chicken Flatbread. It was literally the best flatbread I've ever had. But, even more than that was Carlissa. She was the kindest and most attentive server I've had in a long time. Even if the food was bad, I'd go back just to have her as a server, that's how good she is. Even though this place was kind of in the middle of nowhere, it was definitely lively. We were seated right away and the hostess was really nice. I went with a friend and we each got a small caesar salad and split the toasted ravioli to start. The toasted ravioli was to die for! It was crispy on the outside and creamy on the inside and the blush dipping sauce made the flavors even more delicious. Then, I had the fettuccine Alfredo with grilled herb chicken. The handmade pasta was amazing and the chicken was perfectly seasoned and so juicy. We topped it off with a cannoli. Was really looking forward to revisiting Little Venice with my in-laws and my wife for her birthday. We drove 45 minutes from home and we're told that if we didn't have a reservation that we could not be seated. "Well, can we put our name on a list and wait?" "No, we require reservations." Meanwhile, there are multiple tables open and no other explanation given. On top of that, there was no signage in the restaurant noting this ridiculous policy. Nor is it listed on their website.
