Great pies, lowkey spot. Maybe 5-7 tables and cold beer on tap. Parking available too. This is one of those hole in the wall spots that has an incredibly good pizza. They offer delivery so support local. 10/10 - will be back!

I came here two times now, and plan on stopping by again. Good pizzeria considering the location, it is in Ithaca of course. First time I got a chicken parm hero, and second time I got the lasagna. The hero was probably the best I've had in Ithaca. They use Ithaca Bakery bread which makes all the difference! The lasagna was a bit bland on the meat, but as you can see the cheese is definitely there. Small sized pizzeria, with about a dozen tables. Nevertheless, it feels satisfying. The staff are really great, they check-in on you, refill water, and, in my case, bring more sauce.

Sals has been an Ithaca favorite for as long as I've known. My old employer loved getting Sals every year. Fast forward to 2024 - I ordered a small cheese pizza for my spouse, it was great. I also ordered boneless garbage wings and they literally made her physically sick. Incase anyone wants to research me, I have never discarded a wing in my life, and these "wings" made me sick to my stomach a day later. I also ordered traditional wings, and you can see by the picture, these are ugly AF! Is this the result of new ownership? Please, let me know.

Absolutely a must visit restaurant! The lasagna was AMAZING! Wings are better than Duff's and Anchor Bar! It's clean! Clean restroom! The staff are friendly and you can literally watch them make every order! Locals were picking up pizza and wings to-go the entire time I was there! Thank you for an excellent meal experience!!!

Clean, friendly spot with good homemade food. Right across from Agway on your way to Weggies. Stop by and visit the original Roma pizza ovens!

By far some of the worst pizza I have had. The mozzarella was probably the worst quality and had a bizarre consistency. The pizza itself was greasy with absolutely no flavor, and pricy for what you get. The picture shows the glop of food you get for $24. Inside of the restaurante is pretty disgusting as well. Also the inside has no menu and subpar costumer service. Not a stop if you are in Ithaca!

"Creative and whimsical" pizzas…read more Eta Pie in Ithaca NY was recommended by friends for some of their fun recipes, so we got several to-go for our contribution to a little gathering. We started off easy, with a Napoli red-sauce cheese pizza. It's made with the best San Marzano tomatoes and fresh basil, generous fresh-tasting sliced mozzarella, and a tasty tangy an Italian cheese blend. The red sauce was a traditional flavorful slightly sweet, slightly garlicky tomato sauce. All on a tasty thick-edged bready crispy-crusted soft-inside crust. It was a delightfully better-than-it-has-to-be cheese pizza. We thought the Palo Alto BBQ chicken pizza would suit us: richly flavored sweet lightly smokey BBQ sauce, mozzarella & smoked gouda, grilled chicken, and red onions. It was basically a flatbread. It tasted good, but to quote a guest, "it wasn't pizza" :-). Maybe it was the gouda that pushed it to the fancier edge. We struck out on our own with an olive and sausage red-sauce pizza. This was our favorite, due to the sweet bright fennel, garlic, black-pepper sausage, which surely tasted freshly home-made. Eta Pie has creative recipes and ingredients. Cheeses can incluse Gorgonzola, provalone, feta, paneer, Swiss, and ricotta. Sauces and drizzles include blue cheese, ranch, garlic butter, honey, pineapple-habanero, crema, mornay, pesto, herbed crème fraiche, masala, Korean BBQ, and a spicy red-sauce. Toppings include steak, carnitas, Black Forest ham, fried chicken, shrimp, clams, scallops, smoked salmon, bacon, bulgogi, caramelized onions, vidalia onions, jalapeños, broccoli, fried eggplant, spinach, artichoke hearts, kimchee, and even peaches! Meet the Eta Pie philosophy: creative culinary seriousness. Choose thoughtfully, and you will find excellence on a crust :-)

Another guy walked in and he did the same thing to him and the guy said thank you and the worker said nothing. It was very strange. The pizza somehow only tastes like a tomato, the cheese on both the regular and vegan pizza had no taste, the crust too, it all definitely needed seasoning. The bathroom was sooooo nasty and the toilet had something on it that I won't even discuss on here, just use your imagination, maybe the guy was mad about that?

Server was nice enough, but service itself was…read moremuch slower than expected (especially because there were very few people there at the time). Server also didn't write down our orders, and then brought out one of the orders incorrectly... which, unfortunately, my friend didn't feel like she could send back because everything was taking so long. Food itself was okay... but could use more flavor. For example, a friend and I split the lobster corn fritters (fresh Maine lobster, sweet corn, asiago, cilantro, honey mustard, and sriracha). The fritters were almost entirely corn, and I tasted no hint of asiago or the cilantro (and I like cilantro, so I tend to pick up on the taste pretty easily... but there was nothing). The pizza I ordered for my main dish was fine... if perhaps a bit undercooked. One of my friends ordered a pizza with tomatoes on it, and it came out with large, rectangle chunks of tomato covering the pizza (red and yellow tomatoes). At first, she though the yellow tomatoes were pineapple chunks because of the size. She figured out they were tomatoes, but the amount of them on the pizza itself made it a bit awkward to eat. Ambiance was interesting. It feels welcoming enough, but the door to the outside patio was open and there were numerous flies that would seemingly dive-bomb my friends and I during our meal. Because the door was open, it was also a bit muggy inside the restaurant itself. Anyway... would I/we rush back? Probably not. And I certainly wouldn't grab lunch here again just because of how much time it took.

I got take out and it was ready when I requested & brought to my car. Tasty calamari and…read morefries--appetizers are always a win and these didn't disappoint.
