Third time here in a month- and I brought my BFF with me so she could see what she has been missing out on. She loved it too! Still 5 stars. Delightful Family serving Authentic Arabic Food that takes me back to my childhood. IYKYK. On this visit, I ordered the Meat Fatteh with Almonds and Olive Oil. Also shared a Zaatar/Cheese pie and split a Tabbouleh Salad with Mom. BFF ordered the Hummus with Ground Beef and the Lentil Soup. Friendly, attentive service, relaxed ambience, contrast and balance of flavors and spices, and ideal portions for a reasonable price. Traditional vibe. We heard about this new restaurant from a friend and she highly recommended it. We were definitely not disappointment. The food was fresh and delicious. Fool (Egyptian Style) was delicious. The Zaatar+Cheese pie was almost perfect. Egg&Potato Pan was amazing. Egg&Beef Pan was good but a bit dry. The pita bread was plentiful and delicious. You get to watch the chef make it all if you want, all of it is made to order. The GenZ-er waiter apparently did it want to be here apparently, bordering on useless, even the chef had to sing the bell 5-6 times to get her off here cell to pick up our plates I'll be back to try the rest of this different Mediterranean menu to eat real food! read more

One of the worst delivered meals I've ever had. Everything turned up messy (poorly packed), greasy, and covered in oil. Just trying to open the packaging resulted in a mess all over my table. And then the flavor - so much oil - it just overpowered the dishes. Really bad flavors - absolutely the worst Mediterranean/Middle Eastern food I've ever had. Couldn't even eat the bread! Friends, this is a must visit. I took my young son, who had never experienced Lebanese food, after we studied Lebanese culture and history. Both of the waitresses that we had were incredibly kind, welcoming, and patient. The entire experience was fantastic. The food reminded me of the home-cooked Lebanese food. I had back in Zürich, when one of my best friends cooked for me. There were some folks at a table and they were obviously having such a lovely lunch together and joking about who was going to treat whom. Just felt like family, being there. I believe we met the owner? He was so kind to my son and to me, making sure that we knew we were welcome and invited back. For what it's worth? Hands-down, the best hummus I've ever had. Delicious hidden jem in Richardson. I stopped in here because sometimes I go to the laundromat close by and was excited that anew Middle eastern restaurant was opening. I will say that this is some of the best falafel I've had in Dallas and maybe anywhere. It was fresh, you could tell it wasn't one of those pre-frozen falafel's that just gets thrown in the deep fryer. The bread was amazing and fresh. The baba ghanoush was creamy and very well seasoned and delicious. It didn't have that crappy bitter taste that you get in some baba ghanoush and it didn't have the strings of eggplant in there. You can just tell a lot of care and thought goes into the food that they make here. I would have taken pictures of my food, but I ended out devouring it all before I got home. the staff there was very kind. I believe it was one of the owners that came out to talk to me while I was waiting for my carry out food, and she was very sweet. You can tell there's a lot of history/love in the recipes because this tasted like something a grandma would make for you. There's a few other places in Richardson for decent falafel, but this one is at the top of the list. Also, the interior of the restaurant is very big and all of the staff there were very kind so it seems like it would be a nice place to eat in as well, but since I'm always on the run, I just had time to stop in for some carry out. We were visiting from out of town and Yelp reviews brought us here; and all 5 star reviews were right on point. If you are looking for authentic (you can see family cooking in the open kitchen), great tasting and comprehensive menu, this is the place. We enjoy Middle Eastern / Med restaurants frequently and also cook at home regularly. So it is rare for us to give a 5 star review for this cuisine! Here we enjoyed everything; Zatar bread that was rolled in front of our eyes, my wife said the lentil soup was the best she had, hummus was luscious and authentic and finally the bomb was Maqluba with chicken that was brought to our table and turned over on a plate; it was steamy, tasty and flavorful. IT was accompanied by perfectly complimentary tatziki type yogurt sauce, I will get this dish every time I go there! Our server was a young lady Lia who was on top of everything; courteous, efficient and responsive. They could improve upon ambience a bit and turn down those bright white lights. I'm so glad we chose this spot for dinner tonight. I hadn't had lamb maqluba since we moved from Tampa three years ago, so it was a real treat. I actually found this place on Yelp and saw they had both maqluba and mansaf on the menu, so I had to give it a try. My wife ordered the chicken shawarma platter with rice and a side of fries, which she shared with our younger son. It also came with a fresh side salad. Our older son went with the chicken musakhan. Everything was freshly prepared and served hot, and honestly, this was one of the best meals we've had since moving to the Dallas area. The lamb was incredibly tender and full of flavor, and the rice was just as delicious. The customer service was excellent too. The young man and woman who greeted us were both warm, courteous, polite, and very helpful. The restaurant was very clean, and the ambiance was warm and inviting, simple yet tasteful, making it a comfortable place to enjoy a meal as a family. This place is great. The menu is fairly extensive and offers many different items to try that i had never heard of before. Pleasantly surprised when we were brought pita with olive oil and zaatar shortly after we sat down. We had the egg + cheese pie (a piece of oven fired flatbreas with egg yolks cooked under melty cheese) and a chicken shawerma sandwich, and pot of the cardamom tea (you can get it with mint or without). Everything was massively delicious. The spices on the chicken left me wanting more and more, and the bread had a great flavor and soaked up the juices from the meat.
