Egusi with Goat Okra with Goat Malta Guinn
    Kareem M.

Outside the shopping area was pretty smelly and dirty. Inside the place still looks like they're renovating/just opened. They're still disorganized and took a few minutes before we were acknowledged but friendly service after we were. Ordered the Fufu with Egosi and okra soup. The fufu was very good, but the okra soup was a bit of a letdown. Washed it down with some Malta Guinness. We'll stop by again and the fufu is recommended but I'd suggest being prepared to take your food to go.

    Oxtails Stew & Fufu
    Mariah A.

After being on social media, and seeing all of this amazing African food being prepared, I got a obsession with finding some ox tails and fufu. If you have ever just had a taste for something that you had never had before and then when you actually found it, and it was so delicious... I almost cried. It was one of those moments where you start chewing and you just have to throw your head back with your eyes closed and just take the moment lol. It is not like a fancy restaurant. I would probably order takeout versus going to sit. But I believe this is a place that is primarily for takeout. The service served its purpose as far as takeout goes. I called. They answer the phone really quickly and took my order very accurately, and answered my questions, and when I got there, I paid for my food and I walked out to the car. The food was piping hot and of course I didn't wait for it to cool down to start eating lol how could I smell was amazing. I will definitely be back whenever. I have a desire for traditional well-made African food. It was very well seasoned and I felt like someone's family was in that kitchen making the food for their family. I will be back. I must say that I am the person that Hass to know exactly what I'm getting because I do not like all of the food that suits their traditional food pallett. BUT I Now HAVE A FAVORITE... listen! For the flavor, this place could rival any fancy restaurant.

Peppered tilapia and double Jollof Rice

No matter where I live in the city I will trek to nations. The jollof is great and I always either get the peppered fish or goat. It's no frills and straight to the point but always so good.

We were treated with fried Tilapia, pepper soup extra ordinary, rice and plantains and fruit drink! It was delicious!

    Pounded Yam

My first time here. I ordered Obogno and Pounded yam and I have no complaints. I added a bit more seasoning on my own but it already had a good spicy taste. been missing my fufu the obogno is a plus lol. Customer service - I was picking up, the woman at the counter was very pleasant and sweet. She took my order over the phone, I didn't feel rushed. She explained to me what was inside the soup (like meat wise) . I would go back and try the okra soup next .

It's the only spot like this in sandy springs. Want authentic you got it. Good national beer, good national dishes, this is Nigerian food done right. It's a bit pricey if you aren't coming for lunch. But it's worth it. Portions were a bit small, but it's the correct portion size. Nice place, nice people, good food. Can't go wrong with this spot. If you're looking to challenge your taste buds and experience a sort of flavor fantasy this place is it. Got anything you could want and more. Every bite was memorable.

Came to try them for the first time... Hope I like because I LOVE African food!

I want to just start by saying that I reallyyyyyy wanted to like this place, however it was just not living up to what I'm used to. So back home in WI I have a really good from that's from Africa(Senegal) and I've had the pleasure of tasting authentic African cuisines. I ordered from here the fish with tomatoe&onion sauce, jollof rice and beans. There simply wasn't any flavor. Nothing to rave about, nothing that I'll order again but I guess I'm glad I tried it. Now the two stars comes from a young lady named Coco that works there because she was really sweet and helpful. Interior: Wayyyyyy outdated and a bit smelly to be quite honest :(

DO NOT EAT HERE!! You guys have never seen me post a negative, but today is the day. Its a real shame too because the food was good...but the service is APPALLING. Whenever I try a restaurant for the first time, I always ask the server for recommendations. I was told by the waitress here(who I later discovered was the owner's daughter) to not ask for recommendations or suggestions..."just order what you want and that's it", were the exact words used as she walked away. The 1st issue really was when she would not wipe my table down...all of them were dirty so I just decided to just wipe it down myself with a nearby napkin. I asked to speak with a manager after more rude service...she sent the chef instead for some reason‍. This food was good, but not good enough to deal with such incompetence and hostility from the server. @nationscafelounge we deserve better than this...NEVER AGAIN

They will offer bottled water as if it's the only option since there is a charge associated with it; however, tap water is available for free but you have to request it. We ordered around 7:31pm and received our food within thirty minutes. Because this is a hookah bar, the tables on the restaurant side are very low. You'll have to lean forward and down if you have the food delivered to you there. We were sitting at the low tables first but decided to head to the bar so we could actually sit at normal table height to eat. The steak kabobs were cooked too hard. They didn't ask how we wanted them cooked and we didn't think to tell them medium, so we just dealt with the overly well-done. They had a good taste, but they were just really tough to chew. The jollof rice with chicken and plantains was absolutely delicious; however, one of the chicken legs was really dark on the inside which made me not want to eat it, so I left half of that leg on the plate. I did dump the jollof rice into the sauce that the chicken sat in though because it was amazing. I loved the spice it added to the meal. The taste of all of the food was phenomenal. The jollof rice is definitely the star of both meals.

It was my first time having shito. The Jollof wasn't my favorite, unfortunately, but it finally settled the debate for me once and for all - I'm team Nigerian when it comes to Jollof. Although the Efo Riro was nicely flavored, the mix of collard greens did not compliment this dish as I thought it would. I prefer it with spinach and from my Nigerian food connect (Mina's Jollof in LA). Hers can't be beaten! Black Eye Peas were unique, and the plantains were cooked nicely. Now for the ambiance: We were one of two tables during the day, so having the place for ourselves felt nice. It also looked tidy. Our waitress was a sweetheart. The best part of the meal was probably the seasonings they have sitting on the side of the counter where you order. I do not really know who works there. First there was a lady, then there was this kid, but the kid was sitting in the lounge when I first walked in and stood there for about 5 minutes at the bar before the lady in the back who was having a conversation with the lady who makes the food I guess came from behind and walked around to the register. Their menu has absolutely no pricing. I had the peanut butter soup, which was good, but a little disappointing because the majority of the meat was nothing but fat, and there was not that much meat in it honestly. The potato that was in it literally looked like that had just cut it in two and threw it in the soup. It was good, and not that bad portion wise, but if I had known it was almost $20 I probably would have gotten something else. I was hoping to try the hookah while I waited, but evidently all of the hookahs were in need of maintenance, so that was a bust. Would like to go back in the future, maybe when they have a crowd of people or something, but overall I was disappointed.
