Let's start with the service: Mildred had PATIENCE! It was my first time and she allowed me to taste the curry chicken because my spice level is in the trash! So thank you for that! Sydia, he said I have fresh curry chicken, give me 5 minutes! I love that! Plates were heavy as you can see. Grand total was: $40. Food was 4/5. If you are a BAKED Mac n cheese lover, I doubt you like it. It had the crisp at the top but it was very moist. I like stove top, so it was up my ally! Cabbage was AMAZING! Curry chicken was moist, wish I had a lil more gravy for the rice. Food was laid out! So much to choose from! It is a dine in area too. Bathroom was clean. Not a bad spot at all. Absolutely fantastic food! I've been going to this restaurant for over 10yrs now and after all of this time, they are still serving some of the best food around. I'm currently fasting, so I opted for veggies today. I had the 3-veggie plate with collard greens, red beans & rice, and the chickpea-potato mix--everything was full of flavor and perfectly cooked. I've had some spectacular Caribbean food in the Atlanta area. Unfortunately, Caribbean Fiesta does not match the quality of some of the other places that I've been to, but there are certainly various reasons to give this place a visit. For starters, they utilize the cafeteria style concept, in which all the food is laid out in front of you and you can essentially grab and go in no time at all. There are a ton of different options and almost too many items to choose from. Not to mention, they tend to pile your box up high with tons of food. In theory, I totally dig this. What Caribbean Fiesta gives in terms of speed and quantity, they definitely take away in terms of quality. Perhaps I am misjudging my representation of the food because most of my Caribbean food experience is via Jamaican food, but the food here lacks the oomph that Jamaican food definitely has. What I mean by that is that Jamaican food has bold flavors, hot flavors, flavors that excite your taste buds. The flavors of Caribbean Fiesta on the other hand are muddled down and lack the zing on your tongue. The first time I visited I got their jerk chicken, which honestly wasn't even really jerk chicken (not to be mistaken with their jerk wings, those seem legit). It was a pot of chicken that looked as if it had been stewed in a green-ish liquid. The chicken had good texture, but there was almost no jerk seasoning and the sauce didn't have enough flavor to compliment. Their brown stew chicken is the same thing, but the sauce (which is meant to be in this dish) just didn't have enough flavor. Their sides are solid though, I enjoyed their cabbage, rice and beans and green beans. The service has been solid whenever I've visited. Just recently, I had to ask the woman working the counter to open every container and explain the dish and she did so with a smile. I can certainly appreciate that! If you're looking for high quality Caribbean food, I'd look elsewhere. However, Caribbean Fiesta is the spot to visit if you want a hearty and quick meal. They will certainly have something you're in the mood for! read more

I was a fan of Caribbean Fiesta, Alpharettta for many years however, things have changed. The portion sizes have diminished and so has the taste. For example, the jerk chicken was hot but not very flavorful. The cocoa bread did not taste authentic. It tasted like white bread without the coconut flavor of true cocoa bread. The food is still good it just doesn't taste Jamaican. And did I mention that the portions are smaller but the price is higher? I was so disappointed! Good customer service starts with loving what you do. And in the restaurant world, that love should show up in both the food and the way customers are treated. Unfortunately, that was far from the experience I had at Caribbean Fiesta. I came in around 7:20 PM and ordered the Island Breeze special with curry chicken and curry chickpeas. I politely asked if the chickpeas could be placed in a separate container to avoid them mixing with the main dish. Instead of a friendly response, I was curtly told it would cost an extra 75 cents. Not ideal, but I let it go. When I got home, not only was everything packed together, but the food was practically inedible. It was aggressively salty, overly spicy, and completely different from what I've had before. One bite, and my mouth and lips were on fire. Something was clearly off. I drove back to the restaurant only to find it had just closed at 8 PM. It was now 8:20. I saw staff inside cleaning and knocked on the window. The owner came to the door, and I explained the situation. His response? "You're the only one who complained." He brought up my request for a separate container, as if that somehow justified the poor quality. Then he told me he had kids to get home to, that I should have asked for a sample before ordering, and said to "come back tomorrow" before closing the door on me. No apology. No accountability. Just dismissal. When a restaurant can't own up to a bad batch of food and instead gaslights the customer, that says everything. Between the poor attitude and food that clearly wasn't prepared with care, I won't be returning. Alpharetta has too many great spots to waste time and money on one that doesn't value its patrons. read more

A must! Don't let the looks fool you, this place is amazing. I was in the area for a Cinnabon when I came across this place. We decided to stop in and give it a look. The food sits in hot plates so it's not usual way food is served but boy is it good. There are about 15 things to choose from aside from dessert and drinks. The food is so flavorful and tender. The gentleman helping us was patient, helpful and confident in his food. There were plenty drinks, desserts, indoor seating, and outdoor parking. You have to try this place. A must. read more

Maybe it was the dish I got but the Hawaiian chicken or whatever it was called was waaaaaay too sweet. I didn't detect any other flavors that were distinctly "Caribbean." The portions were also measly for the price. My husband got the boneless jerk chicken and it just sort of lacked that char and grilled flavor you're used to with jerk. Tasted more like it was slathered with Walkerswood Jerk marinade and then steamed. Service was fine. If I had any questions about the menu they answered them. Nothing to write home about but nothing egregious either. The ambiance was okay. Although there's some seating, it's not really somewhere I'd want to sit and have lunch/dinner unless I had to. The setup isn't really inviting enough for a longer stay (and that's fine). Overall, I probably won't be back but I marked this as a "maybe" because perhaps my husband and I got the wrong items and maybe there are other options on the menu that taste better. read more

Horrible! The food is nasty now. When I first moved to the Alpharetta area the food was good. Over the course of three years the food has gone down hill. It seems like they can't keep nobody who can cook to work there. Every time the owner is not around the food just get worse. It seem like he gave it to the hispanics to run and they not going a good job. They can't cook the food like the original owner. The rice is mushy, the cabbage is tough as a rock. It's just a hot mess. Then they have the nerve to charge extra for gravy and don't even a good portion of meat. They need to go back to the basics or just shut down. I've Ben to this restaurant before, but had only gotten a beef patty. Today I stopped by for lunch. I was browsing the meats and nothing really stood out so I ordered the red snapper, rice & beans, and plantain. This meal was $20. I couldn't believe how much they charge for so little food. I asked if I could eat inside and the lady said yes. They have some tables blocked off and other spread out for social distancing. I was not pleased with my food. The fish was dry! I ordered take out from here. The online system is pretty straight forward, but there are a couple of items that tells you to call and make sure it's in stock. However, no one picks up when you call. Rather than pick a more popular item and run the risk of it being out of stock and not have any food ready I ordered the curried goat. It comes with two sides. I got the plantains and Mac and cheese. Overall the flavors were okay albeit a little bit too salty. I also paid over 2$ for an open bottle of Coke. I don't know if it was open by mistake and left in the cooler but it was clearly compromised so I did not drink it. read more

I originally stopped by to grab a quick lunch after an appointment. I got a couple of beef patties, chicken and a drink. The food was pretty good! I don't eat Caribbean cuisine often, but have had my share over the years - this was very much to my liking. We were going to have a bunch of people over for an outdoor get together - SO we decided to have it catered by these guys - They recommended the portions and we selected Jerk Chicken, Plantains, Hawaiian Chicken, Rice and Peas, Zucchini - and of course beef patties....ALL was delicious. the patties were "mini" sized and this turned out to be terrific. The guests gobbled them up and loved all the entrees . Many thanks to Ryan who not only guided our selections but carried the trays out to car on pickup. This restaurant has been around for a while. I use to come here all the time during my lunch break and sometimes come here to grab dinner to go. This time I wasn't that hungry so I asked for a small plate. I guess a smaller plate is not something they typically do so they weighed my food. All I got was a side of rice with .51 of the meat and a carrot cake. Let's just say I probably should have just gotten the regular meal because I paid just about as much! I ordered jerk pork , rice and peas with curry chick peas. I couldn't find not one pea(bean) in my rice, the rice was flavorless and bland. The thanksgiving ham with jerk sauce that you guys are classifying as jerk pork needs to stop immediately. The curry chick pea was good but also bland. This whole meal disrespected my culture and my nation. Great food, great choices! Truly a variety of all my favorite Caribbean meals & then some. I love how welcoming the staff were, and they even offered samples for me to taste. I was in Atlanta visiting for work, so my son & I stopped in for brunch. We ordered several things such as the stew chicken, rice and peas, beef patties, coco bread, red velvet cake and sour sop. Couldn't Tell You the last time I had sour sop! The local place we have in Texas is always out, so this was quite refreshing and exciting at the same time to get some good comfort food. :D We did not have one complaint about ANYTHING. So I have a favorite for Jamaican Food in Alpharetta, but my wife and I try to support us whenever we can. Sooooo... I had the jerk pork. I e never ordered that before and had two slabs of pork slapped over my rice uncut. The seasoning was ok. The Rice & Peas was dry and I felt like it was missing some ingredients. My wife had the oxtail, which tasted like it was out of a pressure cooker with not enough seasoning. Again, the rice and peas were dry. This is probably an ok spot in a pinch, but I wouldn't make it my primary. I think I will try again in a month. FYI - Prices seemed a bit high, but Alpharetta is good for increasing the price point on anything. Portions were ok. No utensils or napkins in the bag. Good luck! read more

So I came in on my lunch break to get the jerk chicken pasta. The pasta off the looks didn't look appealing but I remember having it a long time go and tried it again. Never again. The pasta was bland, no flavoring, and the "Alfredo sauce" taste like gravy. It was not spicy at all and it lacked chicken. I also ordered the salmon cake.
