So basically, this was going to be an extreme endurance event. THE ATMOSPHERE Bucks Tavern is tucked into a strip mall in Loveland. Parking wasn't a problem for us, although I'm guessing things could get a little more interesting during the busy times. From the outside? Meh. Then you walk inside... WAIT A MINUTE. The outside says strip mall. The inside says "somebody's uncle owns a cabin in the woods and has been collecting deer heads since 1974." Who decided these tables were a good idea? You sit down and suddenly you're back in elementary school sitting at the Big Kids Table, except now your legs are dangling and you're wondering if you're going to need a step stool to get back down. I really liked the decor. It was comfortable, welcoming and had that neighborhood tavern feel. And there were plenty of people inside who clearly weren't first timers.
