    Our entrees were delicious, too.

My friend spoke highly of this place, but it was under renovation when we walked by to check it out. I came here a couple of weeks ago to check it out with my sister. The decor is absolutely amazing, the service is great, and the food is so delicious. I enjoyed the Avocado Salad, the Babaghanoush, and the Chicken Skewer. My sister enjoyed her eggs. You need to pay for the delicious bread, but it's so worth it! We will be back for more!

Been on my list for a long time, amazing food and service. Close to the train. Highly recommend the plov. Also the tashkent salad.

The food here is fantastic. If you like Uzbek or Russian food, go here. I ordered the: Cheese cigars: this was excellent, would recommend. It comes with a sauce Navruz Salad: I loved this, definitely could be a meal in itself but best if shared Herring: really good and I loved the potatoes that came with it. The herring does have bones. Mixed Spreads Platter: this is similar to standard middle eastern spreads, but it also has kimchi and pickled vegetables, which was a nice touch. The place is BYOB and there are 2 liquor stores nearby. The service was amazing, the staff was sweet and accommodating.

First time having Uzbeki food, and it certainly won't be my last. Even from the exterior, Nargis is very charming. Enter and you'll find yourself in a cafe-like atrium with tons of natural sunlight and a beautiful bar/counter space. In the back is a full dining room as well. The staff here were so lovely and kind, and took the time to talk to us about the items on the menu and were constantly checking in. Opted to sample some of the more traditional dishes which included chicken manti, baklava, as well as the meat samsa. Everything was delicious. The samsa had a nice flaky exterior and the meat was well seasoned. The manti came in the cutest little white pot with a lid and were so good on their own I didnt feel the need to dip them into sour cream or vinegar. Last but not least the baklava-- wasn't too sweet or drenched in syrup as it sometimes can be and was full to the brim with pistachios. Chefs kiss.

Honestly! The BEST! We come here and order multiple x a week, the food is clean, fresh , not over seasoned or salted like most places which is very hard to find. It is the closest to clean home cooking that you will find! The to go orders are always packaged well and the restaurant always reads my uber notes and sends as asked. Literally BEST place in Sheepshead bay and close 2nd in Brooklyn! Oh and their borscht is phenomenal!

Steak eggs Benedict. Delicious, just wish there was more eggs/steak.

Like most restaurants, this place's rating is dependent on what you order. They spent a lot of time renovating it and it looks great, including the bathrooms. Kutabi had a small amount of filling. On the other hand, the Samsa was delicious, flaky, and had a healthy amount of lamb, I would definitely get more. When they were on coney island they had this amazingly good crispy deep-fried dumpling with potatoes. I ordered it here but they seem to have changed the recipe or the process and it wasn't the same nor was it what I wanted. They wouldn't take it back. However, as it sat there and I ate some with the chicken kebab I ordered, it wasn't so bad either. Worst than the coney island one, but I can live with it. The compote was also good though I wish they would serve it with the fruit or at least give me the option. I also tried their steak eggs benedict which was delicious, if anything I just wish there was more of it, more eggs/steak... charge me an upcharge fine. Americano was good Service was mostly good

Beautiful restaurant with holiday decorations. Staff was very attentive and pleasant . My fav was the borscht.. excellent for a winter night. Chicken kebab was juicy and tender. Salad was crisp tasty and fresh. The ox tail was a little bland and gamey but you can eat it with onions which makes it a little better.

This is my favorite restaurant in Brooklyn. A lot of russian, Ukrainian, Uzbek and Georgian dishes. Fast friendly service and a nice ambiance.

Not a good place, rude staff, overpriced. Keep your money as there's plenty of decent restaurants in the area to spend it!

My family and I were on our way to Coney Island, we were looking for a quick bite to eat, we…read morethought we would get donor kebabs in a wrap. This restaurant came up as highly recommended. When we arrived, we were surprised to see that it was a more formal setting as we were looking for something more of a quick takeout type of place. The restaurant is very nice, it has two dining room rooms and sit down service only for the dining rooms. We were approached immediately and sat down at a table by the window. When we explain to the waitress what we were looking for she let us know that we would be able to order gyros or wraps. We ordered two chicken wraps, and one lamb wrap, as well as lamacune. The wraps came with french fries, they were tasty and they came with a white yogurt sauce on the side. The Turkish pizza (lamacune) was delicious, each order has three pieces. The waitress brought us, complementary, hummus and yogurt sauce along with their fresh bread as a starter. Overall, the experience was good and I would go back to this restaurant if I am in the area.

The quality of their food has always been top notch and honestly is my favorite spot for a Turkish meal. Their hummus and basically all their skewers, kababs and grilled meats are simply amazing. Fast forward, I haven't gone to Taci's Beyti for over a year and I just recently went for our anniversary dinner over the weekend. Place still felt the same, so I ordered my hummus, mixed grill and the chicken kebab for the misses. When The entrees arrived, I was a bit disappointed. They seem to have changed what use to come with their main entrees. Gone is the bed of thinly sliced onions under your meats, so is the roasted pepper and also the roasted tomato. Three items I actually enjoyed having with my entree. They also changed the pita under the meats as well but they replaced it with a very sad salad instead, with no dressing or even a vinaigrette at that. Just plain dry leaves with some red onions. They also have two prices now, one for cash and one for credit, the cost has gone up (which I understand) but they've also cut the portions and what use to come with it. Yes the food is still good but after that last trip I am rethinking about ever going back. I am disappointed that either through choice, greed, or whatever they decided to cut back. Time to scout and try some other Turkish restaurants in the boroughs I suppose, and no I am not leaving a one star review, their food quality and taste hasn't changed. I am just very disappointed.
