Great venue for large parties. It's a "beer garden" with lots of tables, a grassy area, and places to stand to enjoy bevvies. We came here between games for a tournament. There were over 30 people in our party. The service was impressive considering we had a lot of orders and they pumped out our food as quickly as they could. You order from your table using the QR code on the table. Each family was able to place their orders separately so we didn't have to worry about splitting the table later and Venmo-ing each other later. Excellent!!! Tempura Green Beans: I liked the aioli dipping sauce it was paired with. The bean had a good bite. Perfect for sharing. Hawaiian Ahi Poke: Also perfect for sharing. The poke was good. I like that it had guacamole. Lots of tortilla chips to dig into this hearty little appetizer. Wings: The buffalo sauce and the ranch sauce were served on the side so you can control how saucy or how spicy you want to eat your wings. Came by on a weekday evening with friends toward the end of summer and the place gave off a cool, kickback, relaxed vibe. There were QR codes on the table you could order from, and we saw one worker explain a charging mishap to another table because it looked like someone used the wrong code (each table had its unique code). Food was delivered after a decent waiting time and self-serve water was near one of the bars. Food was ok for the price - our table was expecting fries with their burger order since the pictures advertised it, but their orders came with potato chips instead. The sangria was good and it was easily shareable. We wished there were more options for food. There was live music also playing, and tons of seating around. It also looks like there was mini golf and an ice cream stand on the other side, which was an additional charge. Nice place and they allow dogs. Cool vibe. The food is decent, but the service is lacking. They recently expanded their vegetarian options And we ordered the classic soyrizo nachos. They are not very loaded. Toppings were sparse, and there are still no entrees that are vegetarian - only starters. So they brought out the nachos and then after 40 minutes, I was still waiting for my El Pastor tacos, and I had to get up from the table and find somebody that worked there and tell them this and they did bring them out about five minutes later saying that they had been delivered to the wrong table. Somewhere along the way they had brought out Carne Asada tacos, but since that is not what I ordered, I did not accept them. I did not know it would be another 20 to 30 minutes before they'd bring out the correct tacos. They have a drink called the orange crush, which is supposed to be over crushed ice, but twice we have been there and their crushed ice machine was not working but they allowed us to order that cocktail anyway and just brought it out over regular ice. My tacos, once I got them, were pretty good but the chips and salsa that came with them were just chip crumbs and a little thing of mediocre salsa. Last time we were there. we were able to bring our bikes to the back . We didn't have any problem bringing it in . Our bikes are expensive so we want to b able to see it . There was a lot of space too . Today we came back and the lady in front told us we can't bring it inside . We were disappointed. Sounds like this lady has her own rules , and has double standards , also we have a toddler that was excited to play in playground , we left and we will No longer come back . It's a beautiful Saturday in Napa, so we decided to drop by Napa Yard for some drinks and bites. We got there after 3 and there was plenty of seating. There was a music festival going on nearby so we heard some of their music coming through which was cool. All the ordering was done through a QR code at the table. You can either start your own tab or do a group tab. We ordered buffalo wings, a Tri tip sandwich, and a Cesar salad with Tri-tip. Overall I thought the food was ok. The wings could've been crispier but it's a good price for the portion size. The Tri-tip was not the move on this day. It was on the drier side and they didn't give much of it on either the salad or sandwich. I had the burger on my last visit and thought that was a better choice for me. Overall though, Napa yard is a fun place for groups and outdoor dining/drinking. The space is beautiful and spacious and just a great spot to enjoy some drinks with friends. I wanted to drop by Napa Yard for drinks after we had dinner at Carabao Filipino Eatery. We arrived here on a brisk Friday night. The beer garden is located across from Oxbow Market in Napa. Parking is easy and accessible in the large parking lot. The Friday night vibe was lively, family friendly, and inviting. There was a lot of space everywhere with outdoor games and TVs to enjoy with your group. I enjoyed the fact that there was a lot of options to sit whether you wanted to sit on picnic tables, at the bar, high top chairs, or lounge chairs with fire pits. Unfortunately it was a little chilly for a late July evening, luckily we had a heat lamp by our picnic table. We brought a bottle of wine from our local winery. Corkage fee was only $20.00. We also ordered a pina colada, NOjito, and a sprite which was available to order through a QR code at your table. The staff was friendly and accommodating. Overall we enjoyed our experience at Napa Yard. We plan to be back and bring a group of friends and family with us. Hopefully the weather will be better next time around as well. read more

Loved this spot so much! I don't realize this was the same area that hosted the meat festival in the summer. This spot is very expansive with loads of seating, heaters and just great vibes. The most important and exciting part is that it is extremely dog friendly! They have water bowls and treats. Cocktails were delicious. I tried the hot toddy and the butter one (forgot the name). I came by Napa Yard toward the end of happy hour on a Friday to join some coworkers for dinner. I grabbed a beer on tap based on the bartender's recommendation - I don't believe I was charged the happy hour price, but didn't notice while paying - before finding our table. I didn't explore the rest of the space, but it seems like there's quite a few different areas with a large amount of tables, seats, and standing space available for large groups available! Generally a nice ambiance and space to hang out at. You scan a QR code and order online. I got a korean chicken sandwich - this was surprisingly a large portion size, and pretty tasty. Nothing outstanding of super memorable, but serves the purpose a warm, filling saucy meal. It did come with chips that were a little too salty and somewhat stale. I also tried some of the wings, which were great! I'll definitely keep Napa Yard in mind for when I need a nice outdoor space for a large group gathering or am thinking of grabbing a beer :) read more

Perhaps we all visited on an off day? We had a big group here the day before Thanksgiving and the place is beautifully decorated for christmas but they said they could not turn on any of the lights or decor till the tree lighting- huh? Then why have the stuff up? We asked to turn on the heater and the girl just sighed and said "ugh I guess" and never helped us until we tried to turn them on ourself. You order all the food and drinks off a QR code and this "bar food" came out so cold and was not good at all- it was delivered by the rudest wait staff who clearly did not want to be there. She should not work around people. We will avoid this place and not return. We decided to stop by and grab some food at Napa Yard and were pleasantly surprised with the beautiful Holiday decorations they had for Christmas. Upon entry we were told the venue is self seating which was great because we snagged a spot right next to a heater. Was immediately taken back to Covid times with the QR code self ordering and payment online. Service: was average food was brought in a timely manner but we had to ask for water. Food: sadly we both left disappointed in the quality and flavor of the our meals. I will solely comment on my meal which was the grilled cheese and clam chowder. I was hesitant to order the grilled cheese because I make a stellar grilled cheese at home and as expected this sandwich was terrible. Bread was basic white and cheese was cheddar or provolone (I think) it was good at all. I would recommend using brioche and a truffle cheddar like I do at home, it's AMAZING! The clam chowder wasn't as hot as I would have liked and the bacon was overpowering so much so it didn't taste like a classic clam chowder. If you're a bacon lover then this is the chowder for you. I would return for the fun winter ambiance and maybe some cocktails but def no food. read more

We stumbled onto Napa Yard by accident, and it turned out to be a great find. It's basically downtown, just past Oxbow Market, so you're still close to all the shops and bars--but once you step in, it feels like you've escaped the crowds a bit. Much more beer garden than restaurant, it's laid out in different sections so you can pick a sunny spot, a shady corner, or a quieter nook depending on what you're after. The space is casual and family-friendly. There's room for kids to run around during the day, plus a small playground to keep them busy. Adults can kick back with beers, wine, or cocktails, and it's an easy place to reset after an afternoon of shopping or sidewalk hopping. From some spots you can watch the river, see people floating by, and even catch a glimpse of gondola-style boats drifting past. Service seemed a little confusing at first--not sure if staff usually walk around or not. I ended up just going up to the bar instead. If that's how it always is, maybe that's actually nice: you can settle in and relax without being bothered until you're ready. That said, it might be helpful if they made that setup a little clearer from the start. Facilities are straightforward--bathrooms are available, though the sinks are oddly located just outside instead of in. A small quirk, but worth noting. We came here for my birthday over the summer and had a fantastic time. We sat overlooking the river, plus there was a live band playing. I had a new baby, and it was the perfect place to relax with a rambunctious 5 year old boy and a new baby. My son enjoyed playing corn hole and we danced together to the live band as well. We decided to come here again, recently, before the Lighted Art Festival, and we were stunned and delighted by the new playground they have on site! This was already one of my favorite places for a drink, but it's hands down number 1 in the Bay Area now! It's the best place to go as a family with small children. You can enjoy a delicious beverage, cuddle up by the fire pits in winter in rocking chairs, or sit under the shade of the trees in the summer, and your kids have the space to play! And now, even a play structure! I was able to take my infant on the baby swings too! There's something for every age group here! There's also yummy sounding non alcoholic drinks too, and they offer food. Like I said, there's literally something for everyone here! Perfect 5 stars! It's a must-visit place for me when coming to Napa. Heck! I think this place is worth the day trip regardless. I was already telling me husband I'd like to come back for my birthday again this year. We wanted to order food before getting energy back, so we got an order of large fries before ordering other items and drinks. The server brought a small cardboard tray of fries and I asked if this was the large... it was actually kind of insane that the portion they brought was called "large". The portion was $8 for a so-called large with a $3 upcharge to make it parmesan truffle- you are better off elsewhere (maybe Gott's nearby, at least for the fries where you would pay half the price for just as tasty fries), I could see why it was fairly empty on a Saturday afternoon. It was unbelievably tiny for the price :/ the ambiance was decent since it wasn't crowded, but for the food it was honestly a rip-off for the portion... you call this a large and for $11?!? The servers were great, the 1 star is for the price to ratio quantity. I wanted to enjoy this spot again but I will probably not be back and would not recommend to others. read more

I was visiting the light installations on this side of the river and stumbled across the Yard and decided to grab a drink before heading back to our hotel. I didn't get eyes on the entire place but there is a bar shortly after you enter which is where I ordered from their seasonal cocktail menu. The bartenders were friendly and took care of my order quickly. Unfortunately, the kitchen had just closed so do note they keep separate hours. I unfortunately didn't love my drink, but that's what I get for trying something new. But I nursed it while enjoying the cool weather and the people watching and had a nice time. Today was our first visit and we will be back! This is our new favorite beer spot to visit in Napa. I was pleasantly surprised they have beer, wine, cider, cocktails, and mocktails! The location is perfect and there were so many different areas at Napa Yard, including an adults only section. If you have kids, they have plenty of room for them to run around, and even have a swing set. For those of us without kids, the adults only section is much appreciated. The place is also very dog friendly. My German Shepherd, Luna, enjoyed her time visiting too. Napa Yard even has a few items for dogs on the menu and has a dog park area near the adults only section. You can go to the bar to order drinks or order at your table with a QR code and they will bring you your drinks. Nate was very friendly and was super helpful in answering our questions. The food was OK the beer was good. It was bustling in August. We ordered a sausage platter which was good it had three sausages. We also ordered a soft pretzel which was a little chewy.
