I started with the Wabi Sabi which was as interesting as it sounded. While I didn't pick up on fennel, you do pick up on the wasabi, but in the most subtle of ways. Think maybe lime/ginger sparkling water with just a hint of spice. Refreshing and different for sure. I also tried the Mucha Lucha w/ cilantro infused Siete Leguas Blanco, chorizo infused mezcal and cubes made of hot sauce that make the drink have a bit more of a kick as you allow them to melt. I did the HH chips and guac which was also accompanied with a tasty Chipotle sauce. Damn good actually. It'd be excellent served in a variety of ways. The deviled eggs aren't going to blow your mind, but I like that you get 4 different ones- and simply because I love eggs, I'd order them again. (They just wouldn't be a dish that brings me back). So of course, after our spirit tasting at Napa Valley, we walked a short distance to the ArBARetum. We grabbed a table outside and the two gentlemen in our group got the complimentary cocktails. We also ordered the Pastrami Nachos, which was a big hit. We had a short but enjoyable visit here but didn't want to be late for our dinner reservation, right next door at Scala! There was a nice lounge area in the middle that looked inviting. The vibe was family friendly and lively. Definitely a welcome addition to wine country. My son played a few pinball machine games and had a lot of fun. It brought back nostalgia when I use to play pinball machines back in the day. Overall we enjoyed our experience at Marquee Pinball Lounge. The staff were friendly and accommodating. There was a solid selection of both alcohol and nonalcoholic drinks available.
