I am writing this review to warn other customers about my experience at Toyota of Renton…read more I went to Toyota of Renton for a routine visit, and during that time they told me they tested my car battery and said it was failing and needed immediate replacement. Based on their diagnosis, I was advised that the battery was at risk and should be replaced. Trusting their professional opinion, I immediately went to Costco and purchased a new battery. Since my original battery was still under warranty, I returned it to Costco for a refund. However, Costco tested my old battery in front of me, and the results showed the battery was in good condition. They tested it two more times, and all results confirmed the battery was good. To be absolutely sure, I also took the battery to a separate independent repair shop, and again, the battery tested normal with no issues. I later returned to Toyota of Renton to speak with the service manager. The only response I received was a printed battery test result from them. There was no explanation, no accountability, and no resolution, despite clear evidence from multiple independent tests showing the battery was fine. I have kept all printed test reports as documentation, which clearly show conflicting results between Toyota of Renton and multiple other professional testers. This experience caused me unnecessary stress and wasted time, and it seriously damaged my trust in this dealership's service department. I strongly advise other customers to be cautious and seek a second opinion before approving any repairs or replacements here. I will not return to Toyota of Renton in the future.

We worked with Joaquin Sheckler. They had the right color and model we were looking for. It was less than the same car from multiple other dealers by a bit. So we worked the deal and drove home in a new Trailseeker. It was a good experience overall factoring in Gabriel's and Kelly's help and I highly recommend working with them if you're looking for a new or used car. Kelly was amazing - 5 and thanks for helping and taking time to get a few things handed. Gabriel is a Rockstar - 5 we appreciate your help throughout the whole process. Joaquin - jury is still out.

Save yourself the frustration and avoid Rairdon's Subaru of Auburn…read more On September 27, I called ahead regarding a 2014 Subaru Outback. The salesperson confirmed directly with both the General Manager and Sales Manager, Michael Choi, that the vehicle was available on a "first-come, first-served" basis, as a prior interested party had no deposit or active agreement. I arrived at 1:30, completed a test drive, agreed to the purchase price and to buy the vehicle by 2:15. The salesperson then requested Michael Choi initiate the purchase paperwork. I checked on the status of the paperwork at 3:00 and was told Choi was "trying to smooth things over" with the previous interested party because they were upset the car was being sold. Then at 3:15, we were suddenly informed the dealership would not sell us the car because the other party was en route. When questioned, Michael Choi falsely claimed the other party had a deposit (which makes no sense, why would he need to "smooth things over" if they already had a deposit and the car wasn't available?) Choi then produced paperwork that explicitly confirmed the prior deal was unwound, rescinded, no funds were held, and no agreement existed. Despite his own dealership's documentation proving the car was unreserved, Choi refused to honor our agreed purchase and denied ever confirming its availability that morning. When confronted with these contradictions, Choi leaned forward aggressively and stated, "I don't care if I sell that car. It's just a pile of metal to me." It became blatantly obvious that Choi kept us sitting in the showroom for an hour under the pretense of preparing our paperwork while he used our deal as leverage to get the other party to add $1,000 to the purchase. Although Rairdon's Customer Satisfaction Manager asked me to delay posting, potential buyers deserve to know how this dealership operates. Management uses deceptive statements, unethical sales tactics, and exhibits severe unprofessionalism. Take your business elsewhere.

If you have been to this Grease Monkey prior to April 2026 and had a negative experience, please…read moretry again now. Antonio (the manager, who said he just took over in April) and Ethan are FANTASTIC!! It's an OIL CHANGE and I had such a great experience! So I checked my oil earlier today, and it was below the L and noticeably quite dark. I knew I had to get that resolved right away before I inadvertently ran my car out of oil. My last oil change was at 136k, my mechanic (who did that one) recommended the next at 140k. Today my car was just a bit shy of 142k, so I knew I was a bit late but still alarmed that it degraded so fast. I took my car to this Grease Monkey right after work. There were a couple cars ahead of me but I didn't wait long. Antonio came up to see what I needed and I told him I wanted a full synthetic oil change, and asked if I could use an online coupon and he said sure. I waited just a couple more minutes for the previous car to clear out and then Ethan directed me into the bay. I asked him if they could check all my fluids, and Ethan assured me yes, they do and he did, right in front of me. He also checked my lights to make sure everything was fine and even checked the light over the license plate. He told me everything (else) was good, but then he showed me my dipstick and told me that was a problem, both the color and how low it was. Here's what started to really blow me away. He and Antonio explained how that was indicative of either my car leaking oil, or burning through it, or me racking up extra miles since the last oil change. They explained what happens, why it causes it to burn through oil faster, the risks of running the oil that hot regularly, the ongoing damage to the engine, etc. Really painted a very clear picture for me. I asked what they recommend, and they said that at this point, I could get by with just an oil cleaner treatment. I asked how much, expecting it to be pricy, it was only $25. Antonio explained what sort of symptoms I could expect if the oil really gunked up, but also reassured me that my oil wasn't nearly to that point. When it was all over, Ethan showed me the dipstick again to show how my oil was full and no longer dark. Ethan also offered to top off my windshield wiper fluid, which I happily accepted. There is a sign on the wall that says "100% guarantee that we will only do what's necessary". Ethan had mentioned how you have to be careful at these little oil change shops. They both explained how they like to SHOW the customer what's been done, so you have the peace of mind that they aren't selling you something they didn't really do. WE NEED MORE PEOPLE LIKE THIS IN SERVICE JOBS!! So many employers hire "whoever", at a cost to their business. People like this who do good, HONEST WORK and go out of their way to provide good service are an asset. All these quick oil change places could sell the exact same service with the exact same product and the exact same price - what sets them apart? THE PEOPLE. I will most definitely return to this Grease Monkey as long as Antonio and Ethan are still there. I admitted my ignorance about cars, but neither of them were pushy at all and I never felt like I was being taken for a ride. I felt like they were there to do their job and do it well. They didn't oversell me on anything, in fact Antonio reassured me that I didn't need this and didn't need that. I have never been so happy about getting an oil change lol, but I had such a great experience I had to spread the word.

I complained again. I had the synthetic oil and my sticker says I need to come back in 3000 miles. It should say 5000. So all in all not a good experience.

I have since replaced the 1 COIL PACK and my Armada runs good as gold again, kinda funny it didnt need a whole motor replacement. After speaking to the manager a couple days prior to taking it in to this mom and pop shop, he told me to bring my suv back so he could personally look at it. No apologies no nothing. This man, his employees and this Nissan dealership are crooked! They will 100% steal your money lie to you about whats wrong with your vehicle and show you pictures of something wrong on a completely different vehicle and claim its yours and then tell you to replace the motor for 22,000 plus dollars. Absolutely do not trust your vehicles here or at least get a second opinion before trusting them with your car. This place deserves absolutely 0 stars they are lying, conniving and manipulative. I took my 2017 Nissan Armada in to this dealership because my check engine light had just come on the week prior and when I ran the codes at O'Reilly it said to replace the cam shaft positioning sensor, so I took it in because after some research it look like a little bit more difficult of a job and figured the dealership could at least tell me the actually diagnosis as that code could mean a couple things. I took it in and dropped it off they called about 2 hours later saying that they couldnt diagnose the problem but that it would need a new engine more then likely. I asked them why they thought it needed a new engine if they couldnt diagnose the problem and they said they couldnt be for sure it needed one since they couldnt diagnose it but they were pretty sure that what it needs. I picked up my vehicle up within a few minutes and the service guy at the front showed me the picture I've posted above saying that there's a yellow film in my engines oil and thats never a good sign that this is why they think it needs a new motor. I asked them to email it to me (which they never did) this all happened end of March 25, 2026 Fast forward to this week 4/20/26 I pulled the engine cover off my vehicle so we could start to flush the engine (as we were advised) and I called the dealership today yo ask them to again send me the pictures of my engine that they took which after 10 mins on hold a different guy gets on and goes "oh yea you had the armada right, i dont have pictures?" Then after a minute goes "oh yea I do I'll send them again right now" as soon as looked at the pictures I knew these pictures were not of my truck as the last picture of the all black oil intake is the picture i took from the engine. They lied about diagnosing the problem then took a picture of a different vehicles oil intake and tried to pass it off as mine. Then charged me over 200 for the service of doing absolutely nothing. I will be filing a formal complaint with nissan! DO NOT BRING YOUR VEHICLES HERE THEY ARE DIRTY LYING POS!

They said they did. I show up, talked to the front desk and waited to talk to a rep. The old man I talked to had leather wrinkled skin with not one bit of enthusiasm or empathy for me explaining it was my first time. I saw him being short to the customer in front of me. Someone needs to get this grumpy guy out from behind the desk. Anyways, he tells me they don't have my Lexus Rx but apparently the part I needed was compatible on a Highlander. So he points me in the direction at the end of the lot to find the vehicle by myself. I knew better than to try my luck asking for someone to walk me out. I go, I look, I can't find the white Toyota he showed me a picture proving they had. I find another Highlander but it's not the same year, neither has the same part on it. I call the front desk to get a better understanding instead of walking back with all my tools to do so... they answer and put me on a 12 minute hold before I hung up the phone. I stand puzzled and soon find a lot forklift driver to help me out. Surprisingly he was very patient and helpful with my questions. That was a relief. He tells me the car I'm looking for isn't in the lot because it's new and needed to be staged. He tells me ten minutes but i waited in the location with the other highlanders thinking he would bring the new one to me in ten minutes. Well it took me 25 minutes to find him bring it in to the front of the lot. Again the caliper on the Toyota did not match the one on my Lexus and I wasn't going to risk paying for a part that is said to be compatible. What should have been a successful 1.5 hr trip turning into 3.5 hour let down. I don't like leaving reviews but because I've already wasted so much time what more is a deserving review of this place. Fix your front office! I will say this review probably won't matter because they do well from an operation standpoint by having a large lot and wide selection however I'm still going to be bitter, leave this review and try my luck with other places.
