Mango lassi
Kanak G.

This thing looks like it understood the assignment and then arrived in full Shah Rukh Khan 90s charisma: dramatic, sweet, impossible to ignore, and somehow both over-the-top and perfect at the same time. The mango is rich and velvety, the color alone promising grandeur before the first sip even lands, and that swirl on top feels like the beverage equivalent of a cinematic entrance. It is not merely a mango lassi; it is a full performance. Like Baadshah, it has flair. It has confidence. It has that slightly extra quality that stops being "too much" and becomes exactly right. Creamy, bright, and indulgent, it hits with the same kind of joyful energy that made those 90s SRK moments so iconic. One sip in, and suddenly life has background music. This mango lassi does not ask for attention. It commands it. Five stars, a standing ovation, and possibly its own title card.

Quick review: most things were pretty good. Vegetarian review: - paneer tikka masala: standard and good. - saag paneer: full of paneer - biryani: not as flavorful as I would have liked, but still not bad

Looking for a weekend buffet where you can try a bit of everything at a great price -- or just a fun family spot everyone will love? Nanking Indian Buffet hits the spot for just $20! A great variety -- curry chicken, fried rice, grilled drumsticks, and desserts like mango mousse and fresh fruit. We also tried their mango lassi -- super fresh and delicious! And the best part? The live band and performances! They sang happy birthday to a guest and had a beautiful dancer who engaged my little one -- she absolutely loved it! Such a special family memory. Ig: socalhkfoodies

We had dinner here the other night. There is plenty of available parking. The ambiance of the restaurant is warm and inviting. The service was very friendly. We started with a mango lassi to drink. It is a delicious yogurt smoothie and you will need it to help with some of the spices later on. We got a garlic naan and some paneer. The naan was huge and the paneer was warm and delicious. The two pair so well together. We got the Kung Pao Cashew Chicken. Spicy and delicious with lot of chicken and vegetables. We also got some steamed rice to go with this. The hakka noodles were next. These are lo mein noodles prepared Bombay style. A large portion and warm and comforting lo main. Last we got the chicken Szechuan momo. This is a Nepali dish. Momo is the word for dumplings. After this I only want my dumplings prepared Szechuan style. The delicious spices made me keep going back for more. A great place for Indo-Chinese food. It changed the way I look at Chinese food and the different ways to combine it with other cuisines.

This place is in a great corner spot. Plenty of parking when my friend and I got there! We got there right at opening, and everyone was very welcoming when we went in. As soon as we were seated they gave us waters, and they were able to give us great recommendations! It's a decently sized restaurant inside, they had light and dark contrasting colors, which is nice to see. Just a few things we ordered: Royal Lassi - this Mango yogurt drink is very smooth, and refreshing. I wouldn't mind having this as a dessert drink. Basamati Rice - I love rice, this was cooked perfectly, the best complement to the main meal. Kung Pao Cashew Chicken (dry) - this has to be my favorite version of Kung Pao chicken. The spices and seasonings were great. The chicken was tender. The veggies were amazing (water chestnuts are my favorite ) Chicken Szechuan Momos - oh my goodness, I can't with this dish, it's just too good. The chicken filling in the dish, just everything about it was amazing! Everything here, amazing, if you love Indian and Chinese food, please try this place out, you won't be disappointed!

There's no shortage of Indian food in Artesia, and for a long time, my friend group and I were loyal to just one spot. But we finally decided it was time to branch out and give the rest of the local Indian restaurants a fair shot. First up: Nanking--and wow, we may have just discovered a new favorite. This place is tucked away in an unsuspecting location--not directly visible from the street--but trust me, if you know, you know. And if you don't... you definitely should. What sets Nanking apart is that it's not just your standard Indian fare--this place specializes in Indo-Chinese fusion, and it's absolutely a win. The dishes brought out bold flavors, spice, and that perfectly craveable comfort food energy. Honestly, we were all shocked by how much we loved it. Everyone around the table was throwing out ratings like "20 out of 10." Favorites? That Paneer Chili Sizzler and the Hakka Noodles had me dreaming about them before we even left the table. The naan was pillowy perfection, and the okra and chicken tikka were both big hits. The service was quick and friendly, and the interior was unexpectedly sleek and upscale--clean, comfortable, and perfect for a group hangout or date night. Our server let us know that they do a weekend buffet with live entertainment, so you already know we'll be back for that. If you're in Artesia and haven't tried Nanking yet--make it your next stop. This spot deserves way more attention than it gets.

It was my first time here and overall everything was okay. The restaurant offers a mix of Indian and Asian dishes and when I came on the weekend it was buffet style. The buffet options could have been better and the mango drink they served was not really my favorite. The food was interesting but I probably would not come back. The best thing I tried was the garlic naan though it could have used a bit more salt. There was also a live band playing while I was there, and they had a very interesting sound, I will just say that.

Love the lunch buffet! Lots of variety from chicken, goat, veggies, etc. The fusion of Indian and Chinese cuisines perfectly complement each other. All the meats are tender unlike some places that cook in large batches. Fresh made garlic naan to the table is also top notch. Service is fast and friendly and its spacious restaurant with plenty of seating. Highly recommend!

I don't normally review but that Szechuan veggie momo as a Chinese man changed my perspective on what a dumpling could be. It's amazing, service is great, and they give you water bottles like you're in India. Absolutely packed vibe

food - 10/10 delicious. came in for the buffet, it's only $19.99! you can get unlimited naan. some things are spicy so be careful and try everything. the food has so much flavor and different spices. don't forget the dessert and fresh fruits as well. a must try! service - AMAZING 10/10. we were asked a few times if we needed anything else after we were seated. the buffet foods were constantly brought out and none of the trays were left empty. ambiance - 10/10, this place is really welcoming and everyone enjoys the food and people around them. we don't go to this area often but will definitely be back and try their different la carte items. they even had a live band and everyone was just having a lovely time. very memorable.

It is still a great value at 21.99 for Saturday lunch buffet. There is a good selection of Indian staples, chicken tikka masala, paneer sag, Muton stew. All very tasty though some of the chicken in the tikka masala and the pepper chicken were a little dry. They also had gulab jamun and other sweets. Being so busy, food is constantly replenish from the kitchen. It's one huge open room and quite hectic at lunch time. There were a lot of servers and they were good at clearing out plates, refilling water and overall vein attentive. The interiors are neither here nor there, not basic, but thankfully not garrish either. The sound level though, quite noisy. It you're craving Indian buffet in the Cerritos or Long Beach area this place is still with a visit.

I've been coming to this restaurant for over 10 years now. Service has been hit or miss. But…read morenothing I couldn't look past. Today was some of the worst service I had ever seen from the front desk team. The hostesses appeared to be discriminating against a woman because of her service animal. I'm not sure they understand how ILLEGAL what they did today was. We arrived for Mother's Day because my mom loves the all you can eat buffet there and it's one of her favorite restaurants. The hosts up front seemed a bit scattered and were quoting random times to people. We were told it would be about 15-20 minutes. I think we were seated after 30 minutes. They called us up and then told us wait the table isn't ready so asked us to wait another 5 minutes. The reason I took off 3 stars is because a very nice woman had been waiting with her friends and her service dog longer than us. She was extremely patient and kind. She waited outside with her dog and didn't complain once about the wait. I heard the hosts discussing her dog and they were like oh that's a BIG service dog. It was just a normal small sized black lab. And they never began preparing a table for her. The woman finally came in after about 30 minutes to say she had been waiting and was told they were just setting up a table. They kind of brushed her off and said we will get to you. It seems like they had no intention of ever seating her and her friends. They seated multiple large groups before her. We were table of two and we got sat so we thought she would be next and she wasn't. Eventually the poor woman left. They have a sign outside saying service dogs are allowed. This is not true. And you will be discriminated against and not be given a table. I'm not sure if the hosts know how illegal their behavior was. It was clear her dog was a real service animal and the hostesses did not care for her at all. I was a hostess at two restaurants when I was younger and I have never seen anyone treat a customer so poorly before. I truly hope they apologize to this woman. - As for inside the restaurant the servers and waitstaff were extremely friendly. It is a bit scattered and you don't know who your server is so it is hard to flag people down. But they still serve water, naan, and anything else you need promptly. The entire restaurant was packed. Every table was full and the staff always had the food trays full of items. The items also all tasted fresh. All besides the Hakka noodles. That one was a little soggy or over boiled for my taste. I am vegetarian so I got their spinach and mushroom pasta which was surprisingly good. Paneer tikka was also very good. They also had channa/chole. They have street food station where they made fresh pani puri which was great. I believe this station is switched out each buffet day. The last time I was here it was dev puri. And they had someone making paneer tacos. The man making the tacos was really friendly and seemed really happy to be helping everyone. They had samosas and puff pastries as appetizers. They have wide variety of sweets such as carrot halwa, gulab jamun, jalebi, sweets, Kheer, and mango fruit custard. There is a variety of meat dishes such as tandoor chicken, mutton, chili chicken, and chicken curries. I think the only issue with this place is how the hostesses treat customers. Especially new customers. This is their first impression of the restaurant.
