It was not that great meal! I went with a lot of expectations, but the taste was not good. I felt the Gujrati thali experience should have been a bit enhanced and better than what they had!

I have been going here for over 16 years on and off. The quality and select of food items in the Thali has just been consistent. The service is great. They have parking in the building and on the street.

SERVICE - located on the second floor above farm fresh - parking available on street or lot nearby - plenty of seating inside for small or large groups - no wait time even on the weekends - ambiance good for a semi casual meal MENU - all you can eat gujarati thali - all vegetarian with vegan options marked online - well priced ($30 per person) FOOD - all you can eat thali (8/10): the all you can eat experience entails servers walking around continuously with fresh refills of every item on your plate. The menu changes daily but follows a similar pattern. You start with appetizers, which for us was fluffy dhokla and crispy potato bhajji. Then the dal and three vegetable curries fill up your small bowls. The roti/puri comes next so that you have a vehicle with which to eat the vegetables. Just when you think you are done, two types of rice are offered. Your choice of a dessert is served at the very end once your plate is cleaned and taken away. Out of all the dishes, my favorites were the potato bhajji and the lauki subji. WOULD I GO BACK? Yes! Make sure you go on an empty stomach and take a nice walk afterwards to digest.

Our friends took us here because we love to explore unique areas of the LA area and this little Indian did not disappoint. Rajdhani is an amazing vegetarian restaurant the food is genuine Indian, unique flavors. Our friends ordered but I think it was a standard lunch menu. Food just kept coming so good!

Got the thali of the day and it was delicious. The service was fantastic and attentive. If our water or drinks went to a low level they'd immediately come by to refill it. They have plenty of seating but it gets BUSY. The best dessert was definitely the gajar halwa.

Great restaurant serving up traditional Indian food served Thali style (multiple different dishes, breads, and sauces served on a large round platter). This place serves a set vegetarian menu daily which provides an opportunity to try multiple soups, curries, breads, and sauces and it's all you can eat. My favorites were the Roti Bread, bhajia, and potato curry. They also allow you to choose from one of many desserts to end your meal. Even if this style of food is new to you the staff is very helpful and welcoming and will walk you through the process. Definitely check this place out. P.S. For those of you who aren't too into the vegetarian stuff, this place is still a definite spot to try they make their dishes really flavorful and with the multiple small options being served to you, you'll likely find something that is to your liking and keep getting it refilled.

I have been going to Rajdhani every time I visit LA and over the years they maintained the quality and service really well. The staff is very friendly and they keep refilling with the rotis and curries until we stop, and that is very important when we sit for Thali. The curries are little bland and I did not want to refill them after 1st round, which is not I expect in the thali. Hope they improve the taste.

I have been coming to Rajdhani for the last 20 years since I moved to Southern California and I am always satisfied after. Came here recently and brought my boyfriend and their family. It was their first time trying Gujarati food and they loved it! This is the perfect place for traditional Gujarati food. Even the mini thali is a large enough portion to fill you up, with 3 puri and roti, 3 sabji, rice, many little snacks and appetizers, daal, and dessert. The sabji change every day so each time you come, you get to try something different. Service is quick and efficient. I would recommend this to anyone looking to try a new cuisine!

One of our favorite Indian joints in all of Los Angeles area. Having lived in Gujarat for 8 years and eaten cuisines from all their regions, this is by far one of the most authentic and delicious gujarathi thali restaurant. From starters (typically dhokla/khaman/pakoda) to main course veggies of the day (math daal, mixed veggie, undhiyo (if you get super lucky))...to the daals and the white kadhi..everything is perfect. If you chose between Mohnthaal or shreekhand for dessert, you cannot go wrong.

Fantastic place to eat. The flavors are so rich with spices and very healthy. There are some gluten free options, and the all you can eat menu is fit for a king! Authentic vegetarian Thali food is very delicious. I came here with my family and I have to say that you must taste the flavors first and then ask the waiters how to eat everything to get the full experience to enjoy each dish. Everything tasted good though. I almost can't critique anything. You are served a salted yogurt drink in the beginning and for anyone who hasn't tried it, just make sure they fill your cup halfway. It's an acquired taste but I believe the probiotics in the drink will aid in digesting all the spices from the meal. Therefore I recommend taking a gulp or two first. The breads/naan/roti, are light and airy which go so well with all the chutney's and curry. The desserts at the end was also satisfying and for my order, I enjoyed the rose basil ice cream which magically took out all the spices from my mouth. The decorations is beautiful and the restaurant is clean. They definitely look bustling on weekends and have a strong local crowd. I came here on Wednesday which is their slowest day for lunch, and I thoroughly enjoyed the privacy of my meal. Although it did start to fill up around 1pm. Will come here again with vegetarian friends another night just to enjoy some authentic Indian Thali flavors. My favorite is the chickpea flour potato which is kind of like a potato tempura.

Almost $30 for this kind of food is ridiculous. Nothing new to offer, rather we can cook the same curries at home.

It is still a great value at 21.99 for Saturday lunch buffet. There is a good selection of Indian staples, chicken tikka masala, paneer sag, Muton stew. All very tasty though some of the chicken in the tikka masala and the pepper chicken were a little dry. They also had gulab jamun and other sweets. Being so busy, food is constantly replenish from the kitchen. It's one huge open room and quite hectic at lunch time. There were a lot of servers and they were good at clearing out plates, refilling water and overall vein attentive. The interiors are neither here nor there, not basic, but thankfully not garrish either. The sound level though, quite noisy. It you're craving Indian buffet in the Cerritos or Long Beach area this place is still with a visit.

I've been coming to this restaurant for over 10 years now. Service has been hit or miss. But…read morenothing I couldn't look past. Today was some of the worst service I had ever seen from the front desk team. The hostesses appeared to be discriminating against a woman because of her service animal. I'm not sure they understand how ILLEGAL what they did today was. We arrived for Mother's Day because my mom loves the all you can eat buffet there and it's one of her favorite restaurants. The hosts up front seemed a bit scattered and were quoting random times to people. We were told it would be about 15-20 minutes. I think we were seated after 30 minutes. They called us up and then told us wait the table isn't ready so asked us to wait another 5 minutes. The reason I took off 3 stars is because a very nice woman had been waiting with her friends and her service dog longer than us. She was extremely patient and kind. She waited outside with her dog and didn't complain once about the wait. I heard the hosts discussing her dog and they were like oh that's a BIG service dog. It was just a normal small sized black lab. And they never began preparing a table for her. The woman finally came in after about 30 minutes to say she had been waiting and was told they were just setting up a table. They kind of brushed her off and said we will get to you. It seems like they had no intention of ever seating her and her friends. They seated multiple large groups before her. We were table of two and we got sat so we thought she would be next and she wasn't. Eventually the poor woman left. They have a sign outside saying service dogs are allowed. This is not true. And you will be discriminated against and not be given a table. I'm not sure if the hosts know how illegal their behavior was. It was clear her dog was a real service animal and the hostesses did not care for her at all. I was a hostess at two restaurants when I was younger and I have never seen anyone treat a customer so poorly before. I truly hope they apologize to this woman. - As for inside the restaurant the servers and waitstaff were extremely friendly. It is a bit scattered and you don't know who your server is so it is hard to flag people down. But they still serve water, naan, and anything else you need promptly. The entire restaurant was packed. Every table was full and the staff always had the food trays full of items. The items also all tasted fresh. All besides the Hakka noodles. That one was a little soggy or over boiled for my taste. I am vegetarian so I got their spinach and mushroom pasta which was surprisingly good. Paneer tikka was also very good. They also had channa/chole. They have street food station where they made fresh pani puri which was great. I believe this station is switched out each buffet day. The last time I was here it was dev puri. And they had someone making paneer tacos. The man making the tacos was really friendly and seemed really happy to be helping everyone. They had samosas and puff pastries as appetizers. They have wide variety of sweets such as carrot halwa, gulab jamun, jalebi, sweets, Kheer, and mango fruit custard. There is a variety of meat dishes such as tandoor chicken, mutton, chili chicken, and chicken curries. I think the only issue with this place is how the hostesses treat customers. Especially new customers. This is their first impression of the restaurant.
