When we're in the mood for Indian food, we know a trip to Artesia is in order. The day we came to Curry Lounge, we trusted our fellow Yelpers to guide us to a place with good lamb Rogan Josh. We went with Curry Lounge and we both left as fans. I'm not sure if they have a dedicated parking area but the few times we've been here, we've been able to find street parking fairly easily. We were greeted and seated immediately. We got our waters and menus and decided to get Jeeera rice (we recently learned about the benefits of cumin seeds so we were all about this rice), garlic naan, butter chicken, and Rogan Josh. We received our food quickly and we were so hungry we dove right in. We devoured our entrees within minutes. All of the proteins were incredibly tender. The naan was perfectly garlicky, butter chicken had a nice kick, and the jeera rice perfectly complimented the dishes. Everything was delicious and service was attentive and friendly!

I'm Indian so trust me when I say this place is a 10/10 on flavor and quality!! It's a small little spot so it does fill up quickly. They also did a lot of take out orders when I went during lunchtime on Sunday. The food did take a bit to come out, so I recommend ordering an appetizer. Everything we ordered was worth the wait and I'm excited to try different items next time.

Completely understand why it's rated as the Best Indian Food in Artesia on Yelp! Butter Chicken [ ] Juicy and well-spiced [ ] Creamy and deeply fulfilling Saag Paneer [ ] My favorite dish and reminds me of the way I'm used to it being prepared in The Bay Area [ ] Loved the larger chunks of paneer and it's silky yet dense texture Garlic Naan [ ] Warm, toasty, flagrant with a charred fluffy bite I'll be sure to return and left with a to-go order for lunch the next day lol

Love this place! This is my second time coming here, first time was before my group watched the superman movie in 2025, and the second time was last night after watching the new Michael Jackson movie. The movie ended around 9:30 yesterday and this was one of the only South Asian food spots still open (they are open till 11pm). Despite it being like 10pm at night, there were at least 2-3 other parties eating there and multiple delivery orders still being placed. We ordered our food to share between the table and it came out fast and hot. We enjoyed the food thoroughly. Will definitely be back!

Currry lounge got their classic dishes to the point. We tried few different dishes and everything was full of flavors and tasted excellent. Bone-in butter chicken was the highlight for me. I have had tried many other places but theirs so far I can highly rate it! Saag+Makki Roti was delicious and cooked to its perfection. You don't find this dish at many restaurants, it was cooked so deliciously and I highly recommend it. Methi Malai and seekh kabab were delicious as well. I highly recommend this place and I will be going back to try other food they have to offer.

I've always felt like the best way to experience Indian food is with a big group and a table full of dishes so you can try a little of everything--but this time it was just the two of us at The Curry Lounge. We each ordered one of their specials, which came with an entrée, chickpeas, a white sauce that reminded me a bit of sour cream but with a tangier, more complex flavor, and naan on the side. The portions were generous--I couldn't even finish mine, which honestly says a lot.Everything tasted fresh, flavorful, and comforting, exactly what you want when you're craving Indian food. Even with a smaller table, we still felt like we got a great experience and plenty to enjoy. The service was warm and attentive, which made the whole meal even better.Five stars.Dhanyavaad, khana bahut swadisht tha aur seva bahut acchi thi! (Thank you, the food was delicious and the service was excellent.)

    Pani puri (just ok).

The interior is very cute and cozy. I only tried two items and I'm kind of split 50/50. The first was the sweet lassi. It was flavorful and refreshing. I really liked enjoyed it. My other order was the pani puri. It is one of my favorite Indian foods so I've ordered it in many places. This particular recipe was not very good. Sure, it was cool, it was fresh but just didn't have that wow flavor that makes me want to come back for more. I almost ordered something else but based on the pani puri, I just chose not to. The waiters were nice over all, at least the ladies were. One guy helped serve and he was a little rude and behaved like he had better things to do. That didn't feel very good, of course.

We wanted to try this place since very long time! Finally got a chance this weekend. Make sure to reach in time because the place has less seating or be sure to wait for a few minutes outside the restaurant. We got their balti Chicken curry with malai kofta and missi roti. Malai kofta was outstanding! Chicken was warm and extremely delicious. The service was a bit slow due to rush hour. Great ambience and awesome food!

I love Indian food but a lot of the spots around me are not sit-down or just not my favorite. Curry lounge is officially my number one Indian food spot in OC for me by far!!! I saw there was some hype on social media so I had to try and my expectations were exceeded. The interior is cool, not to mention the whole block is so fun and has so many Indian businesses and culture! The samosas were absolutely delicious, and the main dishes were so flavorful and went perfectly with the garlic naan. The only reason for my 4 stars is because we ordered a side of rice and it never came, but we weren't charged for it either so it's no big deal, just need to wait to try it till my next visit! We also ordered the Chicken 65 but I'd recommend skipping that for more curry dishes. It was good but not necessary for this meal!!

Yoooooooooooooooo! ‍ The homie put me onto this spot and straight up told me, "They got one of the best chicken tikka masalas in Artesia." And listen... since he's Punjabi, I already knew I couldn't question it -- that's expert-level credibility right there. Safe to say, it did NOT disappoint. We went with the Punjabi-style chicken tikka masala, which the lady highly recommended, and this version comes with whole pieces of chicken, not just dry chicken breast like some places try to get away with. That alone already had me excited. We ordered it medium spice, which was perfect for me, but fair warning -- if you're not built for heat, I'd definitely suggest going mild. The flavor still hits without testing your limits. We also tried this green spinach dish with coconut milk (don't ask me to pronounce it ). It comes with what's basically a corn tortilla, plus some radish and yogurt on the side. Honestly, all we cared about was that blended spinach + coconut milk combo -- super smooth, rich, and comforting. That part alone was fire. Now let's talk about the lamb chops... because WOW. Perfectly seasoned, juicy, and brought out sizzling hot on the plate. You could hear it before you even saw it. Easily one of my favorite bites of the whole meal and a must-order if you're coming here. They also brought me this green and pink drink topped with nuts -- can't remember the name -- and I'm gonna keep it real... it wasn't for me I knew I should've gone with the mango lassi. I wanted the mango lassi. My heart said mango lassi. But I trusted the waitress' recommendation... and yeah, I regret it lol. Still drank some of it though because I couldn't say no -- those beautiful green eyes got me every time Overall, insane food, solid recommendations (for the most part ), and definitely a spot I'd come back to when I'm craving legit Punjabi flavors. Just don't overthink it -- get the tikka masala, get the lamb chops, and get the mango lassi. Trust me this time.

Lunch with friends turned into a bad experience. We order an appetizer, specialty drinks for everyone and entrees and sides for all. Received the drinks, the appetizer and meals for two. No one ever stopped by to see how things were. Once my friends had finished their meals, a server was flagged down to ask about the missing meal. Oh, they forgot. How does that happen? We asked to the meal to be packed to go. The server apologized several times. We spent $80 on our meal yet they forgot a main entree. I have since thrown away the food as I no longer want the food. Curry Lounge. Do better. Ok, bye.

Eclectic vibes! Very bright with a heavy dose of festive bling! Ordered daal, schezwan noodles and chole kulche (delhi style), chai. Chai and daal were great Chole kulche was too oily or prepped in stale oil. It just did not bode well with us, it had that lingering feeling of too much grease with it (usually get that with stale oil). Noodles were spicy (I liked it), tasted better the next day The servers were polite and friendly. They don't serve any alcohol (no beer either). I didn't know that, so was a bummer (just for me).

I discovered Curry Lounge a while back through a Yelp Elite event and absolutely loved it, so I have returned several times since. I usually do take out, but during my last visit I dined in. Service is always extremely friendly when taking out and I would say it's the same when dining in. Our waitress was super attentive and checked in on us often. I've ordered several things off the menu, but my absolute favorite is the butter chicken...it may be the best I've had! So if you order something, let it be that and you can thank me later :) The naan here is also great and I especially love the garlic chili naan. You can customize the spice levels for most things on the menu, which as I spicy food lover, I appreciate. With a large array of South Asian food in Artesia, I'd say that Curry Lounge stands out in terms of food quality and is definitely worth a visit! I will definitely be returning again in the future.

It is still a great value at 21.99 for Saturday lunch buffet. There is a good selection of Indian staples, chicken tikka masala, paneer sag, Muton stew. All very tasty though some of the chicken in the tikka masala and the pepper chicken were a little dry. They also had gulab jamun and other sweets. Being so busy, food is constantly replenish from the kitchen. It's one huge open room and quite hectic at lunch time. There were a lot of servers and they were good at clearing out plates, refilling water and overall vein attentive. The interiors are neither here nor there, not basic, but thankfully not garrish either. The sound level though, quite noisy. It you're craving Indian buffet in the Cerritos or Long Beach area this place is still with a visit.

I've been coming to this restaurant for over 10 years now. Service has been hit or miss. But…read morenothing I couldn't look past. Today was some of the worst service I had ever seen from the front desk team. The hostesses appeared to be discriminating against a woman because of her service animal. I'm not sure they understand how ILLEGAL what they did today was. We arrived for Mother's Day because my mom loves the all you can eat buffet there and it's one of her favorite restaurants. The hosts up front seemed a bit scattered and were quoting random times to people. We were told it would be about 15-20 minutes. I think we were seated after 30 minutes. They called us up and then told us wait the table isn't ready so asked us to wait another 5 minutes. The reason I took off 3 stars is because a very nice woman had been waiting with her friends and her service dog longer than us. She was extremely patient and kind. She waited outside with her dog and didn't complain once about the wait. I heard the hosts discussing her dog and they were like oh that's a BIG service dog. It was just a normal small sized black lab. And they never began preparing a table for her. The woman finally came in after about 30 minutes to say she had been waiting and was told they were just setting up a table. They kind of brushed her off and said we will get to you. It seems like they had no intention of ever seating her and her friends. They seated multiple large groups before her. We were table of two and we got sat so we thought she would be next and she wasn't. Eventually the poor woman left. They have a sign outside saying service dogs are allowed. This is not true. And you will be discriminated against and not be given a table. I'm not sure if the hosts know how illegal their behavior was. It was clear her dog was a real service animal and the hostesses did not care for her at all. I was a hostess at two restaurants when I was younger and I have never seen anyone treat a customer so poorly before. I truly hope they apologize to this woman. - As for inside the restaurant the servers and waitstaff were extremely friendly. It is a bit scattered and you don't know who your server is so it is hard to flag people down. But they still serve water, naan, and anything else you need promptly. The entire restaurant was packed. Every table was full and the staff always had the food trays full of items. The items also all tasted fresh. All besides the Hakka noodles. That one was a little soggy or over boiled for my taste. I am vegetarian so I got their spinach and mushroom pasta which was surprisingly good. Paneer tikka was also very good. They also had channa/chole. They have street food station where they made fresh pani puri which was great. I believe this station is switched out each buffet day. The last time I was here it was dev puri. And they had someone making paneer tacos. The man making the tacos was really friendly and seemed really happy to be helping everyone. They had samosas and puff pastries as appetizers. They have wide variety of sweets such as carrot halwa, gulab jamun, jalebi, sweets, Kheer, and mango fruit custard. There is a variety of meat dishes such as tandoor chicken, mutton, chili chicken, and chicken curries. I think the only issue with this place is how the hostesses treat customers. Especially new customers. This is their first impression of the restaurant.
