ordered the Chicken Biryani and the Chicken Masala, and wow both were absolutely delicious! The flavors were rich, perfectly spiced, and you can really taste the freshness in every bite. The chicken was tender, juicy, and full of flavor plus it's halal, which is a huge plus. The portion sizes were generous, definitely great for sharing (or keeping all to yourself if you're hungry like me). The food came out hot and fresh, and the aroma alone had me excited before I even took a bite. not to mention it's super cheap. These are the 2025 prices! If you're looking for authentic, flavorful Indian food that hits the spot, this is the place to go. I'll definitely be coming back to try more dishes from the menu highly recommend!

Stopped by Kake Ke Dhaba for Saturday lunch after Indian grocery shopping. Ordered the karahi chicken along with garlic naan and rice. The food was decent and served quickly, which was a plus since it was lunchtime. The naan was fresh and the portions were reasonable. Staff were friendly and attentive. While everything was fine, the flavors didn't really stand out or feel memorable. Overall, it's a convenient spot for a quick, casual meal, but not a place I'd go out of my way for.

You do not want to miss out on this delicious place. Family size portions for such a reasonable price. We started our meal with the masala chai, which was perfect on such a cold night. We ended up sharing multiple dishes off the menu. My personal fav the tikka masala. So delicious. The gentleman who helped us made sure we were well taken care of. So kind and attentive. I will definitely be coming back to this place.

This place serves Punjabi-style Indian food. We ordered Chicken Karahi, Goat Karahi, Channa Masala Lahori, and Aloo Paratha. All the dishes were freshly made and tasted good. I highly recommend this place for non-typical Indian food.

A buffet in Little India? A welcome surprise! https://www.yelp.com/user_local_photos?select=__T1drswUNW3trb2CSy2ag&userid=xsT4KZTu_KnOVavtuXn4RA Occupying the former premises of Ambala Dhaba, Chennai Dosa Corner & other eateries, Kake Da Dhaba, a Punjabi restaurant, has recently opened up with signage promoting their AYCE buffet. Lunch buffets used to be common amongst the Little India restaurants. Aside from a few weekend/brunch buffets, there's slim pickings these days. So, when I spotted Kake Da Dhaba's buffet, I knew I had to check them out. https://www.yelp.com/user_local_photos?select=sJQ6hVtw5tXDjD93qApYuQ&userid=xsT4KZTu_KnOVavtuXn4RA Inside, I noticed the chafing dishes were labelled, but empty. I was told to choose what I'd like, and the food would be made to order. After what seemed like an excruciatingly long 15 minutes or so, I finally had my tray of food. While having freshly made food is a positive, when dining at a buffet, I'm ready to chowdown ASAP. Now that I know the food's made to order, I know to expect a wait, going forward. On to the food, I found Kake Da Dhaba's food really delicious. I was quite fond of their goat curry, chole bhature, saag paneer & kadhi. The flavors popped, warming my body. To cool off, the sweet chilled dahi balla was a great way to end the buffet (twice). https://www.yelp.com/user_local_photos?select=8ieo2HKPChexFqw49VD6yQ&userid=xsT4KZTu_KnOVavtuXn4RA https://www.yelp.com/user_local_photos?select=hJjcZdj4_dP6ZNShe5Bvrg&userid=xsT4KZTu_KnOVavtuXn4RA There are two things I believe have room for improvement. Asking for a glass of iced water, I was told the only included option is room temp tap water. Yuck! Fortuitously for me, my Owala stainless steel water bottle had some left for me to drink. Having included chilled spring water (or even better, masala chai) would enhance the experience. In addition, the rice didn't taste very fresh. I only had a little bit, saving the carbs for the tasty garlic naan. https://www.yelp.com/user_local_photos?select=ilrZOcw058_ZTx4u70w7ww&userid=xsT4KZTu_KnOVavtuXn4RA Service was good. Again, the wait seemed long, but my food was being freshly prepared. Kake Da Dhaba, being a quaint restaurant, has a decent amount of seating. Parking is shared at the New Flavors of India plaza, with more parking via metered street & nearby parking structures. Kade Da Dhaba brings back the Indian buffet, once a stalwart of Little India. I highly enjoyed the food available in their buffet. Packed with flavor, I'm looking forward to coming back for more, hoping more buffet options are integrated and to see if my suggestions are taken into consideration.

We were honestly disappointed when we tried the "Shor" menu a few years ago, so this was a welcome return to form. We went with their signature dishes: the Pani Puri, New York Strip Steak, Kandahari Lamb Chops, Chicken Tikka Masala, and Tandoori Chicken. We finished the night on a high note with the Crème Brûlée and Kunafeh. The presentation for every dish was top-notch, and despite being a late walk-in, the food arrived quickly and piping hot. Their mocktail menu is also incredibly creative and worth exploring. It's great to have the "real" Khan Saab experience back!

Recently, my sister in law drove up from Los Angeles and brought us the chicken Beswada, Amravati lamb, and Amravati paneer biryanis. The flavor was exactly how we remembered it from our first visit. Everything was rich, aromatic, and incredibly satisfying. My brother had never tried it before, and after having the chicken biryani, he said his only disappointment was that this place is six hours away from us. Even though the biryani was a day old by the time we ate it, it still tasted amazing and held its flavor and quality. That really says a lot about how well their food is prepared. My sister in law did mention that the lady at the counter was a little rude during pickup, but thankfully the food itself was still on point and lived up to our expectations. I've been coming to this restaurant for over 10 years now. Service has been hit or miss. But…read morenothing I couldn't look past. Today was some of the worst service I had ever seen from the front desk team. The hostesses appeared to be discriminating against a woman because of her service animal. I'm not sure they understand how ILLEGAL what they did today was. We arrived for Mother's Day because my mom loves the all you can eat buffet there and it's one of her favorite restaurants. The hosts up front seemed a bit scattered and were quoting random times to people. We were told it would be about 15-20 minutes. I think we were seated after 30 minutes. They called us up and then told us wait the table isn't ready so asked us to wait another 5 minutes. The reason I took off 3 stars is because a very nice woman had been waiting with her friends and her service dog longer than us. She was extremely patient and kind. She waited outside with her dog and didn't complain once about the wait. I heard the hosts discussing her dog and they were like oh that's a BIG service dog. It was just a normal small sized black lab. And they never began preparing a table for her. The woman finally came in after about 30 minutes to say she had been waiting and was told they were just setting up a table. They kind of brushed her off and said we will get to you. It seems like they had no intention of ever seating her and her friends. They seated multiple large groups before her. We were table of two and we got sat so we thought she would be next and she wasn't. Eventually the poor woman left. They have a sign outside saying service dogs are allowed. This is not true. And you will be discriminated against and not be given a table. I'm not sure if the hosts know how illegal their behavior was. It was clear her dog was a real service animal and the hostesses did not care for her at all. I was a hostess at two restaurants when I was younger and I have never seen anyone treat a customer so poorly before. I truly hope they apologize to this woman. - As for inside the restaurant the servers and waitstaff were extremely friendly. It is a bit scattered and you don't know who your server is so it is hard to flag people down. But they still serve water, naan, and anything else you need promptly. The entire restaurant was packed. Every table was full and the staff always had the food trays full of items. The items also all tasted fresh. All besides the Hakka noodles. That one was a little soggy or over boiled for my taste. I am vegetarian so I got their spinach and mushroom pasta which was surprisingly good. Paneer tikka was also very good. They also had channa/chole. They have street food station where they made fresh pani puri which was great. I believe this station is switched out each buffet day. The last time I was here it was dev puri. And they had someone making paneer tacos. The man making the tacos was really friendly and seemed really happy to be helping everyone. They had samosas and puff pastries as appetizers. They have wide variety of sweets such as carrot halwa, gulab jamun, jalebi, sweets, Kheer, and mango fruit custard. There is a variety of meat dishes such as tandoor chicken, mutton, chili chicken, and chicken curries. I think the only issue with this place is how the hostesses treat customers. Especially new customers. This is their first impression of the restaurant.
