Burger was dry as hell and the fries are greasy and tasted uncooked in the center . I will never patronize this establishment ever again.

Worst place. Bad costumer service. The cashier was rude and the other lady working with her was making loud noises and screaming. She made a shake with out washing her hands after fixing her hair or taking the trash out. When I asked them about my fries being so nasty and black she said she never eat fries there. Stopped in tonight and boy what a difference a little time makes. placed my order to go. the wait for my food was not bad at all and definitely an improvement plus no confusion with multiple people having the same order #. my big burger had two patties and was 100% accurate and not greasy at all! my fries were cooked perfectly and tasted great. Drove from S. Salem just for this place and my husband and I thought it was worth it. The burgers were wonderful but the thing I was most surprised about was the fries. I have to say I liked them even better than the burger. We only ordered one to share and it filled an entire paper bag of salty deliciousness. I have been hearing a lot about this place since they opened, so went with my family to give it a try...well really disappointed! No FLAVOR! Not sure if it was the wrong day to go or what, but neither the frys or the burger were seasoned. The price was a little spendy for what you get, for 4 of us and a toddler it cost us 50 and some change, if it was a really good burger than it wouldn't of felt like it cost so much. It's a burger joint... What more do you want? It's a step up from your normal chain burger restaurant. Corn dogs, burgers, fries etc. Decent tasting greasy comfort food that so happens to have a a couple healthy options if you wanna 86 a little bit of that grease. So I ate at the Keizer local, Its my first time eating here and its ok, it smelled good inside the place, but my bun failed hard after a few bites and my burger ended up a sloppy mess, but it tasted ok , like real hamburger, and I was starving so I licked the wrapper , the fries on the other hand were soggy and limp by the time we got a to go order where we were going to be eating it. My wife and I decided to take our four-year-old twins to dinner, since we had been so busy that we had not prepared anything for them to eat. I was ever so happy to suggest Nancy's Burgers, as I have not eaten there in a while, and their food is pretty good. As I walked into the restaurant, with a four-year-old in my arms, the four patrons, and all the staff, were enjoying ultimate fighting on both of the restaurant's TVs. We darted out of there before my kids could see what was on the television. Why would any "family" establishment show entertainment that should only be presented in adult establishments. Is ultimate fighting good family entertainment, and I've missed something? Am I clear on the premise of this sport? Do two humans beat each other bloody in a cage, in front of a roaring crowd of onlookers? Is this family appropriate, and I'm just a prude? Is Nancy's an adult establishment now, and I missed that? Televisions in restaurants are a good way to loose patrons, since you never have true control of the content. As soon as I see a TV in an eating establishment, I already have a bad taste in my mouth. Just because you have take-out as an option does not make your choices in TV entertainment appropriate. Get rid of the TVs and let the food stand on its own, or just rebrand your place as a sports-bar and get it over with. Since I often have eaten there, and allowed for some of the questionable entertainment, from their televisions, slip while my kids ate with us, and this was the ultimate straw, I will no longer have Nancy's as an option for eating, with the family or without. I'd give a lower rating if I could. I've had a couple run-ins with the owner, who is a very unpleasant woman, and have heard from some employees how awful she is. Still though I continued to eat there because the food was alright, until I saw a rat in the kitchen! I guess they've had a rat problem for a while now and Nancy refuses to do anything about it. Leaving aside the fact that I was pretty sure I walked into a miniature version of 5 Guys the burger was pretty darn good! I started to order just like I do at 5 Guys but the girl taking my order kept stopping me with choices, "What kind of cheese? What kind of lettuce?" Once we had confirmed that I wanted pepper jack cheese, iceberg lettuce, tomatoes, "the red kind" and pickles, "the green kind" it all went smoothly. A good cheeseburger was prepared promptly. The burgers are great. I won't finish a burger if I don't love the taste. However, I always finish my burgers from Nancy's. I like how there are many different options to choose from for cheese, lettuce, and other toppings. The menu is very similar to Five Guys but that doesn't really bother me like it seems to for others. I find the burgers even better than Five Guys, plus they have a few more options than Five Guys. I decided to try this business for the first time today. Access to and from River Road is difficult and parking is nonexistent but I managed to get the last spot. The serving of French fries was generous for the price but the burger was not fit to eat. I tossed it. It tasted like it was covered in crusty leftovers from a grill in desperate need of cleaning. I plan to return to Burger King. I wanted to support a local business but the food has to be edible before I an justify $12 for lunch which did not include a drink since their machine was broken. read more

Ambiance -- I like the 50's motif, but the place could use some touch-ups (like new paint) and the bathroom could use some more work. It is somewhat clean, but not to the point that it is a dump Parking -- I didn't like the fact that it was next to a Dutch Bros. With these two popular places next to each other on a main road, traffic jams and potential accidents are a commonplace event Burgers -- Really nothing to right home about. It was just a burger and nothing really special about it. More than likely I could have done the same type of cooking at home with my own ingredients Fries -- They give you plenty of them, but again, nothing special like the burgers Motif -- This place reminds me of 5 Guys Burgers out of Atlanta, GA. Nancy's Burgers and Fries is a perfect burger joint - no frills, all substance. The burgers are great: the buns are lightly toasted, the patty is always juicy, and the vegetables are fresh. You also get to choose the kind of cheese you want as well as the lettuce. The fries are the best I've had outside of Idaho; they are crispy on the outside, soft on the inside, and you can add franks red hot seasoning to them is you prefer. Other bonuses include: the modest beer selection, rotating burger special, fry sauce, and the prices are comparable to her competitors - for a superior product. Anyone can tell that Nancy truly cares about the quality of her establishment. She knows where all her ingredients come from and hires friendly, hardworking staff that give great customer service. I have never been in the place when Nancy wasn't there and now she greets me with a "Hi Hon!" every time I come in. I would highly recommend this place even if it was a franchise but I'm pretty sure this is the best burger in town and when you go there you support a local small business. read more

Had another great lunch here, Big Burger with the works, small fries, Vanilla Shake. Great flavor and filled me up. Fries are thick and fry sauce is very good. Shakes are fresh Umpqua Ice Cream. Love love this place! Conveniently located right off the road next to Dutch Bros! Food is a little on the greasy side but so delicious! Tastes more homemade, they give you a huge portion of food too (I'm in love with their fries!!). That being said, it is a little spendy but we go back because we love the food. I brought my daughter there for a quick bite. I ordered my hubby and myself some burgers. I was in a time crunch and it takes some time to get your order. When I got home I realized why, these are big burgers. I ate half a burger and my skinny husband ate his and the half I didn't eat. I thought they looked like 1/3lb burgers. I live in portland but came down to keiser with my sister for a work delivery. We stopped at Nancys before heading home, and for a quick in and out burger joint, it was delicious. The ingredients tasted fresh, and we mistakenly ordered a large fry to share not knowing that we were getting an entire paper bag full! Honestly. Came here on my way back to Bend from Portland. Read about it on Yelp and had to come in. I got a double cheeseburger and a bag of fries for like, $11, and it was amazing. The fries were a little greasy, but the burger quality more than made up for it. Worked here for a bit and it was the single most disgusting thing I've ever seen! The woman who was trained me didn't wear gloves for anything! She would grab raw meat then go and cut veggies and cheese. She put her hands in the butter and fry sauce. I didn't see one person wash their hands when coming in to work either. The cooks would put on aprons and start cooking. Nancy is also extremely rude not only to her employees but to customers as well. Telling one couple that it was their fault their food was messed up. She told an employee that he was going to walk himself out of a job after he left when his shift was over and she wanted him to stay longer! For your own safety and to not support a terrible person. My husband and I love Nancy's Burgers and Fries! Don't waste your time or money at Five Guys and head straight to Nancy's. You get more for your money, there are more choices, and the food is WAY better than Five Guys. My husband always gets a bacon cheeseburger and myself a regular cheeseburger. We love how you can customize your burger by getting additional toppings that are free such as; grilled onions, jalapenos, choosing your type of lettuce and cheese. Also Nancy's has killer fries and fry sauce. We usually share a regular fry which is plenty of fries for 2 or 3 people. And you get fry sauce for FREE whether you dine in or out. I've now been to Nancy's twice. The first time within a week of their opening and just about a week ago. I have to say that I will definitely go back. I find the burgers to be extremely tasty...and huge. I really love the fries though. And the fry sauce...yum. The workers were pretty friendly but Nancy is a peach. On our first visit she caught us after we walked out the door to check how our food was which we assured her was very good and very filling. This is by far my new favorite burger place. The only thing I can make comment on which is extremely minor is the decor...or lack of. The restaurant has the feel of a 50's burger joint...would love them to get some inner decor to match. We haven't been here in the last three months which is a departure from our past weekly trips. We have been fans but this visit was disappointing. Neither hamburger was prepared correctly, missing grilled onions on one and grilled mushrooms on another. Even with missing ingredients the burgers were good. My family has eaten here a few times. The burgers are only ok. The fries are kinda fun the way they're served and you get a lot of them but they're greasy. My biggest complaint is about the southwest chicken salad. A person would expect a salad with maybe black beans, corn, tomatoes, and tortilla strips. But the salad consists of lots of chopped lettuce, a very small amount of chopped tomatoes, grilled chicken, and some southwest dressing. Not at all what is expected, especially for the price. We might eat here again on a night we're busy and don't have time to make dinner but it's definitely not our first choice for burgers. read more
