    Refund receipt and 3 vouchers

555 Edgewater St NW, West Salem, OR 97304 *Semi-Recommended* 12:20pm 12-10-21 I am going to be gracious and give this place a 3 Star Review at this time. This is my very first time ever coming to this place, we are in the process of transitioning from California to Oregon and wanted to try something new and I have to say - *Not Impressed* Order Taker: Chris - No smile when we came to the front. But she was OK, I could tell she was under a lot of stress. It would be great to be able to have the very first face we see to have a welcoming energy. But because of the stress we took the stuff after her hard and it made it difficult to deal with the attitudes from the others. **Training Needed** Sandwich maker: Kyle - Muffled the words if I wanted the 3 sandwiches Mike's Way, since it was muffled and I have never been there I did not understand what he said. So I said we want the works on the sandwiches, when I said the works he gave me an attitude *So Mike's Way!!!* So I said yes. I asked for extra lettuce and extra  Peppercini's *He sighed like it was a hassle to ask for extra toppings* I then asked for mayonnaise on the top and he said with an attitude *they all come with it* When he wrapped 2 of the sandwiches he stuck those in a bag, then when he wrapped mine he just handed it to me assuming I was going to just eat it there. **Training Needed** I watched this man with the lady before us and when she requested for mayonnaise he did not say anything like he was ignoring her. I could tell it made her feel embarrassed about even asking. (We should not be made to feel this way and since we are paying with our hard earned money we deserve to be treated with respect) Register: Calvin - When I was trying to say the type of sandwiches we got, 2 #9 Mini's 1 #6 Regular. Since its my first time there I said 2 regular #9 and he threw an attitude saying *Those are Mini* if he knew what they were he should have just taken care of it instead of expecting me to say what they were. **Training Needed** (Name on Receipt was Tiffany which means Calvin was not using his own drawer. In all my experiences with being a manager, sharing draws is strictly prohibited, so in my personal/professional opinion that is not ok) Supervisor: Tiffany, I want to thank you for taking the time to speak to me when I requested an audience with you, I wanted to bring my experience to your attention, so this matter could be dealt with in a manner of using this as a training for your current and future employees. But what I do not appreciate is the fact that they way you handled this situation was with excuses about being short handed 5 people, and nodding your head with the look of *Omg I cannot handle this right now* I also felt a little rushed in trying to convey my experience to her. Other then that she was great at listening and taking the appropriate action in making me feel like she truly wanted to make my experience as best as she could. So thank you I completely understand how it feels to be short handed. *I worked on New Years Eve by myself at Jack in the box, doing the front and drive through orders, along with making the food on the grill and the food on the fryers. I did not ask for or imply I wanted the refund nor money back for the experience we recieved, but I do thank you for doing it and giving us 3 sandwich vouchers. So because you took action to try your best to fix this experience I am doing a 3 star review and will be willing to definitely come back and see if I get a better experience next time. In all Honesty with a little bit more of the RIGHT training Tiffany would be an exceptional manager. But from what I saw she let the stress of the day and the stress of being short handed overwhelm the most important role of the position she holds. **Standing strong and being the piller of the shift and role model for the employees comes first** when the manager is stressed and allows it to show especially when taking care of customers needs, it effects the team GREATLY. Once Tiffany overcomes this little hurdle I can tell you from my personal al and professional experience that she will be one of the best managers you will ever have. So a lot of encouragement and support is what she needs right now. My biggest desire is for you to use this opportunity to pay attention to on what needs to happen and what type of training is very much needed. *Suggested Training* Customer Service How to leave Personal life at Door Connecting to the customers needs Not correct the customer How to work together as a team Communication Not to make assumptions Bag all sandwiches or ask eating in or taking to go

    Slow mo

How many Jersey Mike's employees does it take to make one sub.... 4! I showed up no one at the store for 5 min, no acknowledgement, went to pay and was told they just had an online order come and needed to take care of that ... no joke 4 employees=1 sub... 3 to chat, one to slowly pile on toppings.... that's Jersey Mike's for you folks

    #9 my way!! Yum

Great sandwiches. Great service. A bit pricey if you consider the neighboring sandwich shops, but, the quality is better by far. High quality ingredients and the service is great!

We spent 20 dollars and all we got was frozen lettuce.

Unfortunately…read moreit's not in my residential area so we have to drive about 45 minutes to get there, but other than that it's very nice. It feels warm and welcoming and the aroma of the restaurant make me feel happy (but maybe it's just me and my In-N-Out Burger) obsession) and their service is so kind and it feels like they actually care about you and will listen to you and there's almost a 0% chance you get your order wrong.

I've only been here 3 times, as I live about a 45-minute drive away, but this was the first In-N-Out location I ever went to. I've gotten a Double Double & animal fries each time; I'm definitely a fan of their burgers, and while their fries aren't my favorite, they aren't bad, and I think their animal-style fries are still tasty. This location still has long lines (at least at the drive-thru) since they opened, but these days, if you go outside of peak times, you can get through fairly quickly. I went once at around 11:45AM and then at opening (10:30) and got my food within about 10 minutes both times. In-N-Out customer service is always great, too. In the times I've been there, their employees are friendly and give you service with a smile - I believe it must be part of In-N-Out's training and company culture.

Came in today at 8:10 like usual. Immediately told half their menu was, surprise surprise, not available, and that we could not dine in despite being open for another 50 minutes. Everything went about as usual until my daughter asked if she could get a refill, like she has multiple times before, while we were waiting on the food. The girl running the register, who somehow managed to get our 2-item order wrong three times while taking it, refused to allow her a refill. When I asked why not, she stated it was store policy that refills were only allowed for guests dining in. When I pointed out that she was not allowing us to dine in, she smuggly replied "that is correct." Rather than demand a manager, who presumably wadn't present since it was only the two teenagers running the kitchen and register, we've decided this will just be our last trip and advise all of you other yelpers of the substandard service this place has made a practice of providing.

The fried chicken is good. And that's the headliner, right? I had a 5-piece chicken finger combo…read more(about $16). The chicken fingers are huge, much larger than the usual size you get in other places. The serving of fries is also huge. The drink that comes with the combo is small. Diminutive, even. It was too much food for me, but I didn't know how big the chicken fingers are here, because I had never eaten here before. Same with the fries. Two of me (and I'm not a small guy) would have been happy with what I ordered. I ordered Cajun sauce to go with my chicken and that was a terrible mistake. I am from New Orleans, so as you might imagine, I've eaten a lot of Cajun food in my life, and the sauce did not resemble anything Cajun I've ever had. I daresay it tasted more like Mexican hot sauce than anything else, but mostly, it just tasted bad. And not that hot, either. I went back up to the register and paid for another two containers of sauce, and this time the selection was more mainstream, that is, honey barbecue. Which was good. Not great, but, you know, good. The dining area is very basic, very spartan, some inexpensive chairs and tables and a muted flat-screen TV (with closed-caption) on the wall. The single staff person at the register was very solicitous, too much so, frankly. Cloyingly nice, almost to the point of being obsequious. But perhaps I am just too jaded and cynical, other people may love the immediate high level of friendliness and familiarity. Country music was playing loudly while I was eating. After a while I realised that it was not actually country music, but rather, Christian pop music. If you're on the Pepsi side of The Great Soda Schism, you'll be happy here. If you're on the Coke side, you're not going to be happy. I like Coca-Cola, so I ordered a lemonade, which turned out to be not lemonade, really, but water with almost no lemon taste in it. It came out of the dispenser, so maybe the tank was almost empty or something, I don't know. It was water with the faintest taste of lemon. That's what I got for a drink. There are a great many restaurants that do wonderful things with a chicken. The chicken-lover landscape offers up an embarrassment of riches. With that in mind, I think I'd pick another spot for fried chicken. Not because the chicken was bad (it was not), but other things about the place were not particularly appealing to me, and it's not as if the main drawing card here (which is the bird) is so completely fantastic that you brush all the shortcomings aside. The chicken isn't that good, you know? It's good, but not so good as to make you forget about everything else.

Later that evening, after dinner at a family member's home, someone suggested Dairy Queen for dessert. We learned it was only about a mile down the road, so we offered to run out and pick it up. The order included a large hot fudge sundae, a medium caramel sundae with pecans, and a small Oreo Blizzard with extra Oreo. When we pulled in, the drive-through line was about six cars deep. It moved at a reasonable pace, and we were able to place our order without any issues. At the pickup window, we were handed our items but had to ask for a carrier. After pulling away, we noticed that the two sundaes appeared to be the same size. We're not entirely sure if sundaes actually come in different sizes, and nothing was mentioned at the time we placed the order. We also realized the caramel sundae did not include any pecans, and there was no comment about that omission. We were provided spoons, but no napkins. Since we didn't ask for a receipt, there was no easy way to confirm whether the order had been entered correctly. In the end, everyone enjoyed their dessert, and no one felt it was worth turning back. We chalked it up to a fairly typical fast-food experience, nothing exceptional, but satisfactory enough for a quick and convenient treat. Looking back, it's a little sad that lowered expectations for fast food have become the norm.
