This is one of my favorite Taco Bells in the Salem-Keizer area by far. Tony, the manager I believe, was extremely professional and courteous when their friers were down and went out of his way to make sure that we got good food and service. Even going so far as to offer us free drinks since most of what we would have wanted was unavailable. When picking up our order, despite it being almost 2 in the morning, he made sure that the order was accurate, and actually caught that he had almost handed us the wrong order. He apologized politely for the inconvenience before gently and professionally asking the other staff to make sure that they were making the right things for us. Honestly, his demeanor and leadership surpass the kind of management I've experienced in my own food service career by being so disciplined yet respectful to the staff. On top of all that, the burritos we got were some of the best I've ever had from a Taco Bell ever. Five stars for sure. read more

We haven't eaten here in a long time and I guess we weren't missing much. I got just plain chips with cheese and the chips were horrible. They tasted rancid or something and the taco was just meh with no flavor. What happened? These used to be so good. My husband got the burrito supreme which he said was ok. I wish there was a no stars option, or maybe negative stars. 4 orders this week alone I've lost money on for deliveries. Last week I spent 40 minutes again, along with other delivery drivers, watching the manager and this staff literally stand around and we were watching our tips fall and bend asked by companies what was going on and the creepy manager, tall, white, scraggly facial and head hair, about 40, looking at us in ways we could feel crawling on our skin, making rude comments and employees telling us the owners don't care if they work fast or at all. I wish I was making it up. Tonight, I get two orders and go to the drive thru and I'm informed they've closed early. I said this is for delivery, I've got it that it's done? Nope, they won't hand it to me. I call delivery co and go back to the drive thru because they need confirmation of being closed and she can't understand so asked to have him say it at the window. Ok the kid says he'll get the manager and to pull up. The people ignore us. Laugh at us and after 5 mind the manager appears but only stays as far away and against the wall as possible and he is literally screaming at us to go away and no he won't tell anyone anything and they're closed. I swear he looked terrified in the end. So yeah, affected pay and rating again. As we left another delivery person pulled up so another Rate and pay affected. He said there was only 3 employees and the manager on and it was too short staffed. Only 2 other cars came and the place was dead. Let me say tho there is one young man there, he has curly hair which probably should he tied because I shouldn't know it's long lol but besides that while I spent most of an hour at the counter a couple times he was working. Diligently and steadily and the only one who wasn't talking or playing or standing or on the phone or doing everything but work. He's a good kid and a good worker and I think someone should commend him. And yeah, give him a hair tie Do yourself and us a favor and even if you do live in Keizer, order food from Lancaster South or commercial st. Either by Madrona or out toward Fairway. What a freaking joke! I had to work late and came through Taco Bell because they are normally quick. There were approximately five cars in front of me. Once I entered the drive-through I was stuck. I ordered at 9:03 PM. The line was moving slow, but I assume someone had a large order and it would pick up. This service was horrible ordered through Uber eats and most my order had tomato's after saying no tomatoes cause of being allergic and didn't even give me my Pepsi and the man went back with the receipt and said no to him and everything we called and he gave us a whole elaborate story never ordering here again never seen such horrible service read more

Went there for dinner and stood waiting for the 5 employees in the back talking to each to acknowledge our arrival. Even though there were more than enough employees to take our order, they directed us to the kiosk. Even though we prefer face to face contact, we used their kiosk. Food arrived swiftly but the two different burritos we ordered were not marked. We got the attention of two employees and asked how we could know which burrito was which. In the last few months I've experienced the following at this location: Broken ice machine Broken credit card reader Out of ALL types of sauce Out of napkins, bags, and cardboard boxes I've gotten at least two orders that weren't even close to what I actually ordered. Almost always forget parts of order and the service is ok. Went to drive up and it was closed, with no signage or indication that they were closed. I had multiple cars behind me waiting to order before I finally called the number and a lady rudely said "we aren't open " and hung up. How is this location still in business? I walked into this Taco Bell today to order some food. I made eye contact several times with a guy in the kitchen while I stood at the counter waiting for someone to come and take my order. I stood there for over 5 minutes and not one person came out of the kitchen to take my order. This happened to me before. I ended up walking out and leaving. They were not busy, in fact there were no other customers in line or or in the dining area. I think that the people in charge of this store need to review their security cameras and see just how much business is walking out the door due to the fact that the employees would rather chat amongst themselves than take a customer's order. As a former restaurant owner myself, had this happened to customers in my establishment the whole crew would have been fired on the spot. Customer service is everything and the employees of this particular store don't care at all about their customers. They would rather see a customer turn around and walk out rather than take their order. This reflects on the whole franchise. I really hope that someone with the power to make a change reads this review because if this review only gets seen by the employees of this store, then nothing will change and that would be bad for all Taco Bell stores. read more

I used to think this location was the better of the Salem/Keizer locations. Not anymore. Just in my 1 order today (4/25/20).... 1. No ice in pop so it's room temp 2. Had like 3 pieces if chicken in my chicken quesadilla 3. No cheese in crunchy taco 4. BARELY any cheese in my dog's cheese roll up (see pic) 5. No baja sauce on cheesy gordita crunch (see pic) Not driving back to sit in the drive-thru to be given probably free cinnamon twists (probably with no cinnamon). They Forgot 3 items on my order! Was home when i realized, called and manager said I can go pick it up. As soon i pulled up to the window they gave me a rude look. Besides not giving me my complete order, the food was horribly made some of my food ingredients were missing (not sure how this is possible). This Taco Bell on River Road in Keizer is absolutely disgusting. They serve old food that they reheat. I do not recommend eating here. As a matter of fact a food inspector needs to give them a visit. I know they reheat old food because I heard an employee asking the manager what to do with the old chalupa shells and was told to try it again. That no one would know it was old. Ordered a 3 tacos plain. They came supreme for some reason? Also they didn't fully put the lid on my drink so when i was driving and used my brake half the drink came up out of the cup and all over my interior. Asked for a plain quesadilla and 2 loaded chicken grillers. My quesadillas had lettuce and what I assume is a red pepper. Then my loaded grillers were cold. Not room temp but like they were in the fridge. I have given this Taco Bell tons of try's and this was my last time there. This Taco Bell is horrible but it's my fault for continuing to try it knowing they can't do their job correctly. I've been here a couple times now this time was my last, they consistently serve cold food and skimp on any and everything. Tonight my drinks were all 3/4 full, and inside of my chalupas there were only 2-3 pieces of chicken and everything was cold. I have eaten at this taco bell a couple times since moving to the area and I have to say its the worst I have had. They are well below average for the taco bell chain when it comes to the food. Its taco bell so I never expect too much but I do expect some value for my money and to get filled up. This time I got the $5 steak nacho box which I wouldn't of even paid $2 for at this location. There was hardly any meat, like 4 pieces of chopped tomato, hardly any cheese and the chips were stale as hell. The burritos that my wife got looked horrible and the wrappers were call crumbled like they were reused. On top of all this all the food was cold and we dont even live half a mile away. I ordered a Chicken Chalupa Supreme and received a beef one. I didn't realize this until I got home with my order. I called the restaurant and was sad to hear that my driving time and gas wont be reimbursed for the mistake that was NOT MY FAULT. I asked to speak to a Manager and was speaking to the RGM who was RUDE and extremely obnoxious. His behavior at the window was unprofessional, loud and condescending. I could tell he thought he was "really important" when he tried to talk to me. He doesn't belong in this business at all. Nor did he care that my order was wrong. Mind you...this was at 2pm and I was the only customer in the drive thru. This particular TB has some issues. The food quality is average. The problem here is the fact that they just can't seem to figure out how to give you what you order. Honestly, how hard is it to check the order before you send it out? More times than not, they have gotten our order wrong or shorted us on items. I'm not exaggerating at all. They get our order wrong more times than right! We no longer leave without taking every item out of the bag and checking it against the receipt.
