They know all the latest trends, are creative with offering fun options and just make it a really pleasurable experience. I'll start off by saying I have had good prior experiences at this salon with SNS. Never had an issue with a pedicure. Sherry has always done my nails. The last couple of times I went in she seemed very rushed. The last time I went in she was taking off the old nails and told me she was going to leave some on and put the new powder over it because it holds better with the dark color I picked. I'm not a nail tech so I went with it. This resulted in fungus under 2 nails. For the $35 + tip I spent for SNS I don't need laziness. I won't be back even for a pedicure and I have spent hundreds of dollars at Nailuxe. read more

I recently moved to the area & stopped in for a pedicure & nail dip manicure. I had a great pedicure & actually had a nail dip manicure that was an actual dip!! So, where I'm from they don't use gel coat of any kind (which makes it thick). If I wanted gel, I'd ask for gel! Well, Nailuxe follows the actual steps Of getting a real dip manicure!! It was not thick & natural looking! I was so excited! I was afraid I wouldn't find a nail salon that actually did what I was expecting! Everyone there was very nice & accommodating. I love Nailuxe! My SMS fills are always great & consistent. Teddy and Cherry are such nice hardworking people and have a great salon. I almost always can get my nails done with pretty much no wait as a walk-in. Teddy is always my SNS manicure tech. He always remembers my nail colors even when I don't. I stayed away because of Covid for almost a year and Teddy still knew my color when I came back recently. I highly recommend their pedicures too. I have had various people do my pedicures and they always do a great job. I've had no issues. I get the gel pedicure and it always turns out great. I highly recommend Nailuxe. I've never had an issue and if you don't want to wait it's easy to make an appointment so you get in timely. Their pedicure massage chairs are a major plus too. read more

I am giving the rating a two star based on the inconsistent pricing for kids and the mediocre service. The sign in the spa states "11 and under," but the nail tech and/or owner said it's for kids 10 and under. I think this was based on him asking my daughter what school she attended and the assumption that she is older. She is 11y/o. He rushed on her service to get to another client. My service was over 70$ for gel nails and a basic gel pedicure. So, ask and check prices before you get service because the pedicure and manicure were ok. read more

Went in today for a little "Hurricane Florence" evacuation R&R. I have to say that was, by far, the best pedicure I've ever had; and that's coast to coast as a military family. Houston did such an amazing job! My feet started out rough with deep heel cracks and by the time I left, my legs and feet were refreshed and my poor heels looked and felt amazing!! I would recommend the #2 to anyone looking for a terrific spa pedicure. read more

I am a newly transplanted Floridian from the DC/VA area. I recently found this nail salon and I keep coming back for more! Each time I have received excellent service! I maintain gel nails and they do an outstanding job with anything I ask for...French tips, stiletto nail shape, etc. They have the best attention to detail...my nails are perfection!! I also really enjoyed an OPI pedicure...best pedicure I ever received...so relaxing. They take the time to do the job right, you are not rushed out the door. I went to get a fill for my nails. i filled out the information for the appointment and said that i had SNS nails. when i got them done, the nail tech used acrylic to fill them in over SNS powder that i had on previously when i specifically chose SNS on the appointment ipad. the nail tech had also used gel polish up to the cuticle and onto the skin. the polish started chipping from there. my nails were very weak and broke 3 hours after the appointment. all of my nails were different shapes also and none of them looked alike. they were very crooked. i was bot given a name, but i should've asked. i have previously had issues with this salon before and the low quality of their supplies. i have also tried 3 different nail techs. i thought i would give this another chance but have since been disappointed. every person i have talked to that went to this salon has also had similar issues. if i could give a zero star rating, i would. read more

I have been to this place many times and I have tried to like them but today may have been last visit. The results have never been great, but most times they have been passable. I normally just go for a basic pedi and it's fine. Had a terrible gel mani here that started peeling off after a day. To their credit they "fixed" it-but the lady who fixed it took a drill to my natural nail, so I will be growing out the damage from that for at least six months. I keep wanting this to be my place because the location and timing works perfectly, so I decided I'll never let them touch my fingers again but maybe just my toes? After today, probably not. This place was clean, pretty and the staff was very friendly but.... my pedicure was unsatisfactory. I spoke to the technician about removing the callouses on my feet and her response was "I can't remove them, they will grow back." ... but I purchased the pedi that included "callous treatment"??? I also informed her that I was most concerned about getting a really good massage because my feet hurt constantly.... she barely scrubbed them, didn't address my callouses at all. I was very disappointed.... and my feet still ache. read more

I like leaving a nail salon satisfied, as in I really like how my nails look when I walk out the door. This salon didn't disappoint. I had a pedicure and it was very fairly priced at $25. Things I loved about this salon: No wait. I went during the day (about 2pm I guess) on a Monday. It was awesome. I didn't schedule an appointment. I like to just go when I'm feeling up for it, so this was convenient. Nail color choices: plentiful. There is a salon near my end of St. Johns and it only has plenty of color options for gel. Not this salon. They had lots of regular color options, gel color options, and a new powder polish that is supposed to nourish your nails. I don't know much about it, just that it sounded neat. Quiet time. I was able to just zone out and read. I have toddlers at home so I like peaceful alone time. This is a nice outing for that. I wasn't rushed at all either. My only negative was the aesthetic vibe. The lighting was dim because it only has front windows. Since it wasn't busy, they didn't have all the accent lighting on and this made it seem sort of dark and drab. Something about the floor turned me off, but otherwise it was a clean, nice salon. I enjoyed this place. I would return again. I'll go during a more busy time next and update my review to reflect that. They have the potential of 5 stars. Update: My pedicure lasted longer than two weeks. 5 stars for sure! read more

The inside of this nail salon is nice looking, but my nails turned out awful. I wanted a full set of acrylic nails with gel polish and they turned out clumpy and uneven. I will not be returning to this salon not worth the money at all. Also I have acrylic all built up under my nails. read more

This app won't let me upload a photo... but when I went in I asked for a specific design (one I already had on my nails/ alternating colors) and was basically told they wouldn't do that. Then I asked for ombré and was told she wood it because my nails were too short in her opinion (I've had it done before). Then I said never mind (my others were already off so I had to have something on there!) just pink and whites then. She said she would only do it thin (again NOT what I asked for!) and after less than 7days they are breaking off!!!! read more

I went there with me and my friend to just get gel on our nails. The lady who did my nails got the gel on my cuticles which caused them to peel 3 days later, whilst my friend got her gel done and they man who did hers didn't get it on her cuticles and hers are just fine. This happened a couple months ago...but I really had to calm down before writing this review! I took my daughter in for a "Spa Day" to get Pedicures and SNS nails. The prices on their brochure had + $10 for gel for my daughters pedicure...so I told her go ahead! Then we needed to add some lenghth to our nails so we asked how much for SNS with tips and were told $40. Her pedicure was fine, mine was terrible. My big toe nail was not straight as she cut my toe nail on the side way over and the polish job looked like a kid did it. Then we get to the SNS with tips....again my daughters turned out great! The lady that sits up front did mine had an attitude from the get-go. She was very rough with my nail beds and rushed the whole time. I was originally only going to do a manicure since my cuticles were a mess from yard work. I asked her to please trim my cuticles since it really did no good getting new nails with ratty cuticles. She was so rough with my cuticles that they were bleeding. Now we get up to pay...$171.00...WTH! Pedicures $33 x 2 + $15 for gel (which brochure had as $10 upcharge) and the SNS with tips $45 (after being quoted $40 for each of us)...ohhh and best part to trim my cuticles and making them bleed she was going to charge me $5...I think NOT! I called today just to see what pricing they would give me and the gentleman that answered said SNS with tip $40...without $35. So I wasn't crazy! So I told them since they didn't want to stick to their pricing in brochure and up'd the SNS by $5 x 2....consider that the tip and that I would never be back. read more

The massage chairs are wonderful, I have never had an issue with the wait, they have several different manicure and pedicure options. My favorite by far is the OPI Royal pedicure. It comes with a hot stone massage, exfoliant, warm towel and paraffin wax treatment. It is $15 more than a basic pedicure but totally worth it. My only suggestion would be to make sure to ask to look at their pedicure menu because their technicians don't always present it. Always friendly and professional. read more

Excellent and very personalized service. Cherry always takes the time to do the best manicure. She is never rushed and is very gentle with my weak/thin nails. I walk out with beautiful nails every few weeks. I have been going to this salon now for over a year and have been to many in the past where they rushed, were rough with my nails and not worried to make the customer happy. It was obvious that they were squeezing me in when they looked at the clock before agreeing to see me. But then my technician rushed through everything. I got in at 11:30 and he was done by 11:45. Skipped the lotion massage. Other customers around me were given a book with options and offered a drink. They didn't offer me any options or even show me the book. They charged me for the basic pedicure. Even though at this point it was basically a polish change and not a very good one at that. There is polish on my skin. When I walked in I had also asked for an eye brow wax. They forgot. So when I checked out I said "I can just get my eyebrows done a different day." They then tried to fit me in. Love going here for my nails but do not go here for any waxing. I basically have a the thinnest line as eyebrows when I specially said "please just clean up my eyebrows". And the wax was put on my skin immediately after taking it out of the heat, not even a second for cooling- I was burnt and I even reacted and said something but that didn't seem to do anything. I would go back for a pedicure and manicure but never again for waxing. read more
