When I saw that the lowest price pedicure was $45, I turned to the Tech and said, I see you have gel polish pedicure is $45. I don't want gel, only a basic pedicure. He said gel and basic are the same price. My eyes got big!! I wasn't in the mood to say anything back to him. At that point, I knew I was never coming back for a pedicure and I will also find someone else to do my eyebrows. When did gel and a basic pedicure become 1 price?

As for a basic mani/ pedi, I paid 45 plus tip. I brought my own clear for my nails and chose hot pink for my toes. Their color selection is based off the gel they have to offer. They use the regular from the same set-- which I think is smart and cost effective. I was a little anxious because many of the staff kept coughing-- and Covid is real despite folx acting otherwise. But the staff was masked and so was I. Some of the other clients were not-- which is why I've preferred to go to places that have just one client at a time. Overall, my nails came out good. She listened when I said not to over clip my cuticles and I feel good about the way it looks. Let's see how it holds up.

My total was $115, so this place is definitely on the pricier end for the basic, simple, and plain services. The salon is spacious and is located at a plaza with free parking. There were no discounts or promos for new customers or students besides a business card stamp (ask to receive one before paying!) to get $5 off on next service after 5 visits. Ming worked on my feet and Mei (or Ting, since I noticed the equipment she used were labeled "Ting") worked on my hands and waxing services. Fortunately, none of them wounded me in the process. I went on a Wednesday afternoon after scheduling to come in on the same day and I was seen right when I arrived. It was semi-busy since all 10 nail techs working were occupied and servicing a customer. What I wished they could improve on were: - Being straightforward and transparent on how much it cost for each extra service they ask you instead of just casually asking if you want this or that without putting a price tag on each enhancement and being shocked at the total in the end. - I did not receive a proper massage (as I seen everyone receives one after each service) from Mei, rather she was just lightly rubbing on my back as if she was making me feel better, which was honestly confusing and uncomfortable.

The big windows , music and design allow for a peaceful and elevated experience. Upon walking in, I was greeted by the staff and Alexus immediately went to work on my toe polish change. Upon here arrival, Ashlyn went head and soaked off and drilled my current set off. Once she was complete and Sydney was ready to apply the acrylic, I switched chairs. Sydney did a fantastic job on the application and shaping of my nails. Ashlyn did some filing and polishing as well on my set. Though a little longer than a trip to a typical nail salon, I enjoyed every minute. I'll definitely be back as I hope to have found my new nail home.
