Yes, the bowls were tiny and there were no massage chairs, lighted decor or ambiance. But honestly the pedis were just as good. Do we need upgraded renovations to feel beautiful? No but that's progress. And everything else is going up. Apparently we'll patronize no matter how high the prices are. At 5pm the sign says "no more pedicures." Come early and put your name on the list, especially if you have a favorite nail tech. Then ask how long the wait is and have them call you. Sign up the evening before if you want to come in the morning. Don't put your belongings down unless you want them covered in dust.. Bring cash or use their ATM. On the plus side, the wait wasn't too long and there are lots of DND colors to choose from. I picked a pretty reddish pink #235. They use fresh tools for every customer, goodbye cheese grater! She even squeezed fresh lemon on my toes! I bring my own foot soak. Neo soul plays in the background, I'm pampering myself. But at this price point it's more an occasional splurge than bi-monthly ritual.

I am a male and I only get my nails done once or twice a year. I have been to this business once…read morebefore and received really good service. But today I went there and the person who worked on me (who was an older Asian woman) was not very personable. She never introduced herself but just gave me the price list and didn't say anything. I told her what I wanted (manicure and pedicure) and that's what she did. She never said anything until she accidentally stuck me in my big toe and asked if it hurt. You never know what people are going through so I didn't say anything. Once she finished she did say "thank you" with a smile, which made me feel like that was for the tip. Overall it was not a good experience and I would not go back there again. Plus when I got home I where I could really see, I realized that the mani and pedi were not that good.

I went in with a picture of a mani I liked and asked for them to do the same with the colors I chose. I love the way it came out! It was also my first time going to this nail salon. There was a bit of a wait (1 hour) due to staffing, but it was worth it! The staff was very nice. John, who did my nails, was awesome, and their prices are great!

I don't get my nails done often but when I do I always go here and I usually have an experience that I can forget about the next day; nothing life changing but also nothing dramatic or upsetting. Today changed that. The woman who did my nails was very rude, judgmental, awful at customer service, and seemed uninterested in making the experience remotely comfortable for me. She just seemed irritated for no reason right off the bat. She spoke to me so disrespectfully and accused me of messing up my nails. Mind you this was while she was in a stage where the flaw was easily correctable and she said "you messed your nail up" with a attitude as if I'd purposely ruined my nails during the transition from the pedicure chair to the manicure bench. I don't care WHO messed up the nail, at the end of the day it's her job to fix it as I am a paying customer regardless. I responded with a shrug "I don't know." And she snaps at me "No I'm telling you that YOU messed it up". Just incredibly rude and nasty and unprovoked. I am a very calm and unconfrontational person. I never expressed an ounce of discontent at the flaw because I KNEW it could be fixed. She should not have been so upset over such a small thing. I was genuinely baffled at her attitude towards me. Later on she proceeds to look at me and go "You don't get your nails done very often do you?...I can tell". Disrespectful. I got a blue cats eye and she never even asked me what shade of blue I wanted, just went in with whatever shade of blue she picked out before I could even stop her. And the nails came out very crooked. See attached...ridiculous. Overall my experience with most the workers here in the past was neutral to positive. She was clearly the problem. If you go here, don't let the black woman near your nails unless you're okay being talked to crazy or you're getting a style too basic for her to mess up. (Also this is not about race, I'm simply describing the one feature of hers that distinguishes her from the other staff members. I am also a black woman. I wanted to like/ support her so bad at first as it was my first time seeing a black woman working in an Asian owned nail salon. So once again, this review is not targeted)

I pay well over $100 each time for my fill-in & pedicure From the moment I walked in the door I told the young lady I'm not in a rush. I want to relax that I just got off of work. I sit in the chair instead of her, letting me enjoy my massage getting my toes done. She started doing my nails. I said fine I asked for square square I still got square round I asked them could I pay for a massage at the end I wanted a massage ... I did not realize at the beginning of the service rendered that they even did the massages where you could pay for 10 minutes or more if you wanted I mean it was like I was begging her to pay her to do a massage for me and she still did not want to do it nor did anyone in their establishment? She asked everybody there. One woman was just watching something on her phone she looked irritated, fanned her off and said she had a client coming forget about the client that was standing in front of them. They just paid over $100 as long as I was standing in there talking trying to get someone to. Do a massage for 10 minutes. It's not like I was going to get it for free. I'm paying for a service that they offer just like I have paid over $100 for my toes and nails and was treated poorly because the young lady that did my nails ignored when I asked her a question and just continue to do what she wants to do they treated me as if they were doing something for me for free or doing me a favor when I am paying for their services. I couldn't believe it. They certainly don't have to worry about me. I will not be back. They were rude at the end of the service and I believe she was the owner just simply just didn't want to assist me... a customer with a service they offer continuously telling me just let us know next time ahead of time The crazy thing is there were plenty enough of help there that someone could've assisted me and they just chose not to.
