But if you need good ombre work then I'd suggest you find a different salon. I don't know the name of the gal who did my nails, all I know is that she's Hispanic. It used to be easy to walk in and get a mani-pedi, but I know that it has become popular now and it is recommended to make an appointment before coming. The reason I stick to this salon is because the quality of manicure/pedicure is always top notch and they are clean, hygienic and only use the best products to keep nails healthy. And recently I've discovered my new favorite nail technician here, Bobo! She is only there on Mondays, but she is simply amazing at her work and artistry , and is such a pleasant person to talk to! Anyone leaving a bad review knows nothing about nails. I've moved from NY not too long ago and have been around the block with nail salons. I had a lot of trouble finding one in NJ until now. Lots of the salons in NJ are chop shops that don't care about the integrity of your nails. My last place damaged my toenail from the drill and they also skimped on important steps like prepping the cuticles before fills which would cause lifting. Jenny who worked on my toes took her time to gently take off my gel and shape my nails beautifully. I believe her name was Luya worked on my uv gel fill and my gosh the shaping and painting was exactly what I asked for!! No flooding. Just left an amazing pedicure at Nailspree. My dad and I got the spa pedicure treatment, and I added the callus eliminator for myself. The facility is very bright and clean. They line the tubs with plastic for each customer, which I appreciate. I chose the lemon spa treatment for my dad and I had lavender. The mix that they use in the water produces this gelatinous substance that feels great between your toes. Our legs were treated with some kind of lotion then wrapped in plastic. This resulted in soft, shiny skin after being massaged and rinsed. There's more to the spa service, but you should just try for yourself. The callus eliminator was amazing. I can't emphasize that enough. My feet were looking rough, ok? Like, as she got to work on them I couldn't even feel the first few grates of the callus remover. With the additional paraffin wax, my feet are the softest they've been in who knows how long. I may have actually just purchased whole new feet. The service was really good and efficient. I didn't catch her name, but the woman who did my feet was really nice and even redid a toenail with me asking after the polish got damaged. For the two of us and the additional treatment, the total was $100 which I thought was reasonable. While I'm only in town for a visit, I could totally see myself coming back next time I'm here. read more

The customer who came in and got seated right away at the time I had made my appoint was still getting her pedicure when I finished mine. I come here often enough. Now, it's nearly impossible to get an appointment and walk ins are not welcome even though it says they are on Yelp. I've called to make an appointment before and when I arrived to said appointment, they didn't have it because there is no communication between the staff. Even if you have an appointment, expect to wait 30 minutes to an hour and a half before you're sitting in the chair getting your nails done. The manager even tells people this is normal. This is a really hard review for me to write, as I was so in love with this place up until today. I grew up in Milltown, and as many locals know, it's super hard to find a great nail salon. When I found Nail Spree about a year ago, I couldn't believe how great the service was, and how affordable the prices are. That all changed today. I had a 2pm appointment for a gel mani and pedi. At the end of my services (approximately one hour) the nail tech took me to the front desk, then went into the back. I paid for my services via credit card, and left a cash tip on the nail tech's work station. I walk out, get into my car, and as I'm pulling out of my parking spot, the nail tech comes running out and towards my car. I stop and roll down my window, thinking I left something behind, and she says to me, "You forgot to give me a tip." I'm a broke grad student, so I know the struggle of working minimum wage and the benefits from a tip. BUT it is insanely inappropriate and unprofessional to chase down your customers and ask them for money. I am beyond shocked, and incredibly disappointed in this place. I came in for a gel manicure and was so rushed that instead of it being a relaxing experience, my manicure was a stressful one. The manicurist didn't soak my hands or remove any cuticles or even ask me what shape I wanted my nails filed. She just did her own thing and it was too late for me to say otherwise. So so so clean! The salon was calm, well run and no one was sitting waiting without knowing how long their turn would be. Each pedicure tub was lined with an individual, new plastic liner. Each patron received their own file, buff pad and pedicure scrubber pad. The floor was clean, each technician took their time and didn't rush despite being crowded. The manicure was good as was my pedicure. They also offer a discount for paying in cash so a mani/pedi was $35. This will be my new drop in spot when I have time after work. They have the biggest selection of colors for both gel and regular manis/pedis, and will even give you a regular polish for your toes that perfectly matches your gel manicure. They are also extremely clean. Every tool the mani/pedicurists use come fresh out of a sealed bag so you know they have never been used.
