I walked in early on a Friday morning and was able to get right in since they were fully staffed. I got a pedicure (which I might say was one of the best pedicures I've ever had). It was so relaxing and the technician did an awesome job. I also got a gel set filled. I got a nail done in full sparkle and I've never been to a salon with such a sparkly color! I had a separate technician for my nails and she was great as well. The only reason I'm giving it 4 stars is because I feel like it's a little over priced. I moved to NJ last week and so glad I found this place! I showed her the picture and asked for the arts and she did such a great job. It is definitely more pricey than other places (paid $45+ tips for gel mani+ arts) but you really do get what you pay for. Will visit again soon! read more

I've been going to Nail Spree for about six years now. It's my go-to nail spot. They do a great job and are consistent. They have made a few changes to the design of the salon and the services over the years, which has been nice. They do a great job on gel manicures and there are many color options. Sad to write this, as the owner is always on top of her game. Her partner, a male, however is not. Always extremely rude I avoid conversation as I have heard him talk to his staff, and to other customers. I always make appts and usually for both mani & Pedi. He not only blamed the owner for making a mistake, but would not allow me to get my pedi first (which is standard everywhere) because supposedly there would be no one to do my nails. Literally, I was the only one there. I protested, but nicely, as I am under the weather and said, please, I need them to dry, it looks like you have plenty of people. He continued to explain how it was not his fault, and basically, too bad lady. So while I get my nails done (ladies are all great) I notice no other customers, and his staff cleaning nail bottles--for a good hour. A few folks walked in, and still there was more than enough staff standing around. So basically, this was about winning, not customer satisfaction. So I go to pay and use my giftcard. I quietly say, hey you know you really could have allowed one of the girls to do my pedicure, why did you refuse me? He immediately went red, and said he apologized before, and that it was not his fault, it was the owners fault. I said, I get it, but it is no my fault either. He clearly did not like being questioned, and simply told me to "go fuck myself" so loud that everyone in the salon turned around. I just looked at everyone and shrugged and said "there you have it" as my conversation was barely audible. I could have gone nuts, but I kept it classy. His staff was clearly cowering--so I bet this happens often. Most of my friends go here, and they all complain about him. So I will use my gift card until done, but plan on never attending again. It's a shame, the place is clean and the staff is super efficient. I plan on calling the owner, she should know what happens when she is not there. If you don't like people, and you want to be always right, then you should not be working with the public. Next time I won't be so quiet....as I still have to spend down on a $200 gift card. Nail Spree is beautiful, clean, and full of quality people both at their jobs and in customer relationships. I've never been treated with more respect or kindness than at Nail Spree. Also every technician does a quality job and takes their time. I've never felt rushed out. Their pedicures are the best you can get. Love these guys! read more

I have been getting my nails done at nail spree for over 6 years (on and off). I have never had a problem there the only thing that I have negative to say is I find it to be a little pricey. Haven't gone to another nail salon in years but any time I ask them to shape my acrylics they charge 5 dollars more just so they look a little more natural. I started going to this place a couple of months ago and because they were the closest nail salon to me, it became the only salon I was going to. That is until i contracted a nail fungus from their equipment. When I went up to the owner to tell him what happened, he was extremely rude to me and dismissed me right away. Came here after a bad experience at another salon nearby. What really makes this place special is the cleanliness and salon atmosphere. They use a new liner for every pedicure which I really appreciate. It is also just a very clean, modern, fresh looking salon, it simply looks great. The service could definitely be better for such a nice salon. My gel manicure came out a little too thick for my liking, the woman doing the manicure filed my nails after the gel was completely cured which ruined the tip of the nail. I had to have them re-do a nail since by filing the nail after the top coat, they filed off a bit of the side of the nail. I think the person I had was just in a rush and not paying attention to detail. However, for the price you pay for this service, attention to detail is a must. It's day 2 of my manicure and I feel that my color is already getting a bit dark which makes me think she rushed through it and didn't allow it to properly cure. The pedicure was great, however again the woman could've paid more attention to detail, the nail polish is not completely even on every nail which is something I noticed in daylight. Overall, I would go back just for the salon and hopefully if I get someone else it will be a better experience. Might have to go back if the gel manicure doesn't hold up to have them fix it. Will update this if the rating changes following a different trip. read more
