This is my third time coming to Nailspa Excel after my sister recommended this location. Scarlett did such an amazing job on my nails. The design is perfect for my upcoming visit to Disneyland. Chris also took extra care with my injured toenail.

not even a week after i got my nails done , one of my nails fell off.. in my initial review i was speaking about how they didn't give me what i asked for. But after not being able to hold up for a week , it shows the quality isn't there either.

Amazing service with Scarlett. Clean location and even though they were busy, it did not feel like a long wait to be acknowledged or seen!

Scarlett did a wonderful job on my pedicure using builder gel on the big toes! She listened thoughtfully to my requests and got the details perfectly. Overall, clean place and great customer service.

Great and quick service! Scarlett is very nice and helpful at picking the right color for me.

Was able to make an appointment for same day, and they were ready for us as soon as we got there. A large assortment of colors to choose from. A very professional atmosphere. Thank you!

This is not what I asked for as a customer. The nails are too thick and look more like press on nails. I did request for them to do it over which the manger sent me a message with a bad attitude and told me they didn't make them thick. Pictures don't lie. This is my first time coming here and my last. If anyone is looking to try this nail salon Don't. Go somewhere were you will pay for good service not ugly service.

I had the callus pedicure and my feet feel so smooth. Scarlett massage was so good. I will be back. This is a 5 star establishment.

Since there is no reply button, I will just add information here. I called in and gave the information and asked if there was anything that could be done because I was very disappointed as well as in pain! I was not rude. I explained that I did not live in the area and I had to leave and I was told the only thing to do was to come in and you would handle it, therefore I did come in. And you were very dismissive of me after just saying that she would fix the toenails. I didn't demand a refund. I asked if I could get a partial refund. And I did not threaten to leave a negative review. I just said I would leave a review. Which is exactly what I did. I even told you that you were welcome to pull up the camera footage as you threatened to do stating that I told you that I was already hurt before I came in. But you ignored me. read more

I have officially found my favorite new nail spot! The hospitality of this location was incredible. Be prepared for a wait for a reason they're so attentive to detail and first location that doesn't cut me while doing my nails. The price is perfect for their work got a set of full acrylics with extra designs such as French tip, pokadots, and bows even that look wonderful and a full gel pedicure for just 135! I had been going to a local nail salon that was closest to my home and had been extremely unsatisfied with my results. The owner was the only one that did a decent job. I came into this salon as a walk in and was very impressed. Not only did my manicurest do a great job, she also was careful not to cut me with the drill like the last place. I was definitely due for a new set of gel x nails because the set I had was just embarrassing. Karina put on a new set of gel x nails and I got a gel pedicure to accompany. I didn't get the name of the lady who did my pedicure, but she was awesome as well! She really did a good job getting all of the dead, dry skin. Another thing I noticed and enjoyed about this salon is their prices! I got upgrades and the prices are beyond fair for the quality of service you receive. As a first-time customer, I had such an amazing experience that I couldn't wait to come back for a second visit. Scarlett did an incredible job correcting a terrible nail job I had received at another salon. She was meticulous, and professional. The entire staff was kind, welcoming, and attentive, and the salon itself is clean, quiet, and the perfect place to unwind after a long day. During my second visit, I had the pleasure of seeing Karina for my hard gel fills and Darly for a pedicure. Karina went above and beyond to ensure I was absolutely in love with the final result--her attention to detail is unmatched. Aside from timing issues (2.5 hours for gel mani and pedi)... the technique is just very poor and…read morethe techs need additional training. My pedi: I had existing gel on my toes and the tech put a solution that smelled like industrial paint thinner (not acetone, not foil wrapped) to dissolve the polish. It began to burn the skin around the nail and when I touched it, it was all oily and messy and had a very strong petroleum scent. I notified the tech that I was getting a burn and she put some sort of barrier cream between my toes. The new polish on my left foot didn't cure long enough and I'm left with tacky gritty polish. My manicure: the tech ignored the air bubbles in the clear coat and the overall appearance is just thick and goopy. I was ready to go as I'd been there close to 3 hours so I just took the loss. I've only been here once before and won't be back. There's MANY nail salons in the area that hire fully trained techs that are actually nice (please offer more than one polish book and don't be rude when asked to see one).

This review is directed specifically at Tan, the business owner, who intentionally overcharged me, displaying a complete disregard for communication, professionalism, and honesty. If I could give this salon -10 stars, I would do so gleefully. Tan, your behavior as a business owner is nothing short of appalling and it's time that you enroll in some basic classes on business ethics, customer service, and professionalism. This was my second visit to the salon, and it will certainly be my last. Furthermore, I will actively discourage all my friends from setting foot in your establishment and instead urge them to seek out businesses where their patronage is valued and respected. Earlier in the day, I called to book appointments for myself, my sister, and my mother. During the booking process, I specifically inquired about the prices for each service. I was quoted $27 for basic pedicures (for myself and my sister) and a total of $62 for my mother's services ($35 for a gel manicure and $27 for a pedicure). Imagine my utter shock when I was presented with a bill totaling $119 for my mother's services alone. Not a single person in the salon mentioned any additional charges beforehand. I was overcharged for every aspect of the service, including shape, length, and a $30 fee for the removal of a prior gel mani pedi, without any prior notice. Furthermore, Tan neglected to inform us that the gel color we chose only came in powder form, resulting in an additional charge. When I confronted Tan and requested a breakdown of the pricing, he became defensive and emotional, claiming this is his standard practice. However, I have never encountered a nail salon that charged such exorbitant fees without prior notification. In other service industries, such as fast food establishments, customers are informed of additional charges before they are incurred. Had I been given the opportunity to accept or reject these charges beforehand, I would have made a different decision. In conclusion, my experience at your salon was nothing short of a nightmare. Your deceitful tactics, lack of professionalism and communication, and complete disregard for integrity have left a bitter taste in my mouth. I implore anyone reading this review to steer clear of this salon, unless, of course, you enjoy being subjected to unethical business practices and unreasonable charges. **UPDATE AS OF BUSINESS OWNER'S RESPONSE: the business owner alleges that he reported us to the police dept. LOL reported me for what--asking questions, writing a negative review, warning other patrons? I paid for me and my mom's services ($147 receipt attached) and my sister, who paid separately, tipped your employee generously. Tam, it's pathetically ironic and hypocritical of you to assume we come from another country when you yourself are an Asian immigrant business owner who cannot speak fluent English. This is why we had miscommunication in the first place. I was never rude to you nor did I raise my voice. As a paying customer, I have every right to ask questions about my bill when being overcharged in the end without prior notice or communication. But anyways, GO ahead and "report" me lol. I hope that helps you sleep better at night. As previously mentioned, I will never attend your banal business establishment again. Always the best at NailSpa Excel. I usually see Karina or Tan for my nails and they both do such a great job. They take their time, they are patient, and show precision from start to finish. For a pedicure my husband and I see Holly and she is the best!!!! Today, I saw Anna and she did such a great job. I had seen here around the shop and today I gave her a shop and she was so great. We had a hiccup along the way and she handled it so well and finished and didnt rush, took her time, and listening to everything I said. I've been coming to this nail salon for 6 months now and I can say that every time I've come I've had a positive experience. It is clear that owner Tan and all the staff prioritized cleanliness, comfort, and good work. This recent time that I went Tan noticed that I was stressed about time since I had a lot of errands to run and he told me exactly what time he'd have me done by which helped to calm my stress.
