I was able to go back to my hotel and fix it with an eyebrow razor and makeup pencil I picked up from the beauty supply. Original review: After researching nail salons for a couple of weeks, I decided to book with The Nail Salon. I scheduled my appointment through text and was asked to send a $20 deposit through Zelle, which I did during our conversation. When I arrived for my appointment, I was told I didn't actually have one scheduled. I showed the text messages and proof of the deposit transaction. She explained that because I didn't specifically tell her the payment had been sent, she didn't realize the deposit was from me and never added me to the schedule. At that point, I probably should have left, but since they weren't busy and I had already paid the deposit, I decided to continue with the appointment. The pedicure was honestly very relaxing, and the massage portion was excellent. Unfortunately, the manicure experience was much different. I requested a full set, showed a couple of inspiration photos, and trusted the tech to choose the best products. During the application process, I noticed the nails were crooked and mentioned it. I was told they would be fixed, but the final result still looked uneven and nothing like the inspiration photos. What made the experience more uncomfortable was that multiple times during the manicure, the misunderstanding about the appointment was brought up and framed as entirely my fault, with no acknowledgment of the communication issue on both sides. I'm admittedly not someone who likes confrontation, so after bringing up the crooked nails once, I stayed quiet, paid, tipped, and left. I left disappointed because I had really hoped to find a salon I could return to regularly. The pedicure itself was great, but between the appointment confusion, the interaction during the service, and the quality of the manicure, I unfortunately won't be returning. I'll now need to pay another nail tech to correct the set.

After reading all the great reviews, I decided to book an appointment--and I'm so glad I did! Booking was quick and easy, and her suites decor is absolutely adorable. I went in for a builder gel fill with my usual short, round French manicure. Angie took the time to discuss exactly what I wanted, and she delivered beautiful results. Long overdue review…read more Unfortunately, I did not have a great experience overall, unlike some of the other reviews. I first went to Angie's Nail Garden in July because I needed my nails done for a family vacation. I booked my appointment online, and when I arrived, I was greeted and offered a drink. Everything seemed fine at first. When it was time to paint my nails, I specifically asked for a pink and white ombré French tip. Instead, my entire nail was painted white, and then the tips were painted pink. I was very surprised by how they turned out and told Angie that I did not like the way they looked. Instead of removing the white gel, she painted another color over it. I wanted to say more, but I also had an infant waiting for me and did not want to stay any longer. The following week, I went to another nail salon to have them fixed. Even the new manicurist pointed out that the second color should not have been painted over the first one. This made me feel that my frustration with the experience was valid. My second issue was being blocked from scheduling appointments because of cancellations. I had booked several appointments, but there were times when Angie did not respond in a timely manner to confirm whether my appointment was approved. Because I had not received a response, I would cancel about an hour before the appointment. If there is a cancellation policy, I feel appointments should be approved or denied in a timely manner so customers know whether their appointment is confirmed. Overall, I was not happy with my experience. Being blocked from the scheduling system may be for the best, as I do not plan on returning.
