She even helped "fix" one of my real nails that was splitting by adding some acrylic to even it out - free of charge. I can't say enough how sweet Mina is. I will definitely come back again. She does her own art work and her designs look amazing. Since her shop is small, there is a chance she may not be able to take you right away. But if you can wait, it is well worth it. Waiting 10-20 minutes past my appointment time isn't even my biggest issue. What bothers me most is how rushed the appointments feel. My tech was moving so quickly that he nicked my toe pretty badly, and I was actually in pain. My toe kept bleeding throughout the service, and what was really alarming was that he used the polish brush to wipe away my blood multiple times. That's a huge hygiene issue. I was a nail tech for 15 years, and brushes cannot be disinfected once they've been contaminated. That alone is a major red flag. On top of that, the salon is really dirty. There are always toenail clippings and old gel pieces all over the floor, which is unacceptable for any salon. Sweeping should be mandatory and standard. I've given this place plenty of chances because I genuinely loved coming here, but it seems like it just keeps getting worse, and it's not worth the health risk anymore. To make matters worse, my polish doesn't even look good. I chose a solid color, but you can clearly see brush strokes, and it's obvious the top coat was missed in several spots.
