I went in for gel x nails and a pedicure. Gel X nails are typically expensive anywhere but it always includes gel polish so I never mind paying. However usually I pay $60-75 depending on the salon and this salon charges $75 - not a problem. However they need to be more transparent about their prices. I asked for a regular pedicure but they pressured me to do gel on my toes too. I know gel is an extra cost but I never would have thought it would cost me an extra $30 on top of my pedicure. I essentially paid another $75 for a simple pedicure with gel. I was caught off guard when I was at the front ready to pay. Unfortunately - I will not be coming back, not because the work isn't good but because the pressure to get gel as well as the lack of transparency turned me off. read more

I'm giving one star because although my nail tech was very nice and the pedicure itself was good, I wasn't very happy with the polish application. On top of that, I felt extremely rushed at the end. The front desk was trying to fit more customers in, so my nail tech rushed me out of the chair before my polish was even fully dry. Because of that, my toe polish ended up getting ruined. I understand the salon was busy, but I don't think customers should be rushed through the end of their service just to make room for the next person. It was disappointing to pay for a pedicure and leave with messed-up polish. I should've requested a refund or even better. I should've paid with my card and then disputed the charge because this is unacceptable. They did the same thing to my daughter and my friend, and my daughter's and friends toes were also messed up because they were not fully dry and they rushed us out of the chairs. read more

My pedicure was great. I'm sure the guy's name who did it, but he was kind, respectful and made it sure my pedicure was enjoyable. The lady doing my nails was an older lady & she made several comments about the color I chose for my nails. I let the first few go, but then she started discussing it with other nail techs. Two of those comments being that my nails looked "ugly", "black" and "dirty." It was odd behavior when you are the person doing the nails. Won't be coming back! read more

I came in to treat myself before my birthday. I was seated right away, which was nice. I sat down with a woman and showed her the nails I wanted for my birthday (the nails I provided in the second photo). She then told me she can do it and it would cost $54. She began to do my nails at 4:30pm. She finished at 6:55pm. Upon finishing, she proceeded to tell me "wow that took so long sorry that was my first time doing design" :/ UPDATE: I truly want to acknowledge how professionally this situation was handled afterward. The owner Kevin reached out to me immediately, showed genuine care and concern, and provided excellent customer service. Their kindness and willingness to address the experience made a significant difference. I also want to highlight Vivian, who assisted me during my visit. She was gentle, polite, and very kind, which I greatly appreciated. Her demeanor helped make the experience more comfortable and she did my nails exactly as wanted. The owner's prompt response and Vivian's professionalism demonstrated a commitment to customer satisfaction. The worst pedicure I've ever received. I got a regular pedicure and the nail tech took over an hour. She cut into my skin when filing and then kept scrapping my nail with the cuticle remover. It was so painful! I couldn't wait for the appointment to be over. I kept telling her to be gentle but she would nod her head and continue. I gave a star for ambiance and convenience since they took me right away but will not be returning. read more

TLDR: the nail tech video chatted my toes without my permission, chemically burned my nails, and owners haven't reached out after a month. TONY IS AN ABSOLUTELY DISGUSTING PERSON WHO SHOULD NOT WORK IN A NAIL SALON! -he is lazy and wanted me to do the cheapest package so he wouldn't have to work -HE VIDEO CHATTED SOMEONE AND SHOWED MY TOES TO THEM WITHOUT MY PERMISSION. I was so uncomfortable at this time but was almost done so let him finish (big mistake) -I asked for the gel on my fingers to be taken off and for my fingers to be trimmed. He put so much acetone on my nails that it DESTROYED and chemically burned them. Then he scraped the gel off and left my nails like that. They were white and powdery from the chemicals and not all the gel was off. And he expected me to leave that way. My nails were also not cut straight at all (to the side) - when paying, I gave him a low tip (toes weren't *that* bad )and when handing the clipboard to the front desk, he snatched it out of my hand after hovering the whole time. I spoke to Joseph about it outside, and started crying because of how traumatizing it was (Tony was still hovering). Joseph fixed what he could, but the damage is still done and I have to wait for my nails to grow back. Joseph sent pictures to the owner right away and took my number down, but I still haven't heard from the owners. IT'S BEEN A MONTH SINCE I WAS THERE AND NOTHING. Needless to say, I won't go back since the owners clearly don't care. The 2 stars are for Joseph, since he stayed after hours to help me not look horrible. read more

Found this place on yelp, close by work. I made an appt which was easy and painless. As soon as I walked in, the staff was saying stuff in their language. My co-worker and I picked the basic package for mani & pedi with gel polish added to both. The tech said we don't want to go beyond basic. Hence, this is my first time so I was afraid what if I'm not satisfied with my service I wouldn't want to be tortured for longer than I need to be. Every chance the techs can, they will comment and say bad things. They really need to keep their mouth shut because whether or not we speak their language, we can tell and unfortunately for them, I understood everything. My gel manicure was fine. A few of my finger nails didn't have an even top coat. I asked for the tech to just paint a layer of top coat and she said I was being difficult and why I didn't tell her earlier. I didn't notice my 1 finger not having an even layer of top coat because she put the cuticle oil on. Then I noticed and was thinking of just painting on my own at home, then I thought I'm paying over $45 for a mani, the least they can do is add a coat that the tech didn't do evenly! My gel pedi took longer than usual, even she was saying I was difficult, I didn't even asked for anything special. I picked a bright red and she was having a hard time painting and complained. I've been coming to this location for a couple of years. My go to nail tech is Joseph. He's nice, funny, and listens to my requests. I have really sensitive/thin skin on my feet and he's really careful not to make it bleed (unlike at other places I've been to). When I ask for a buff/shine, he does a thorough job and it's super shiny. Another tech who I love is Hanna. I have a lot of callus on my feet and she took the time and removed them way better than I ever could. I am so appreciative of that. My feet feel so much better. There are a few techs which rush through the appointments and does a messy job, so it can be a hit or miss. The place and very clean and the appointments are easy. They always place new plastic bags in the pedicure tub. Their towels are nice and soft, as well as clean. They have some supplies that are disposable so they didn't use those on other clients. i went at the top of February and this is today 3/15. The nail splitting has been happening since removal. On all of my fingers. I do not have any vitamin or mineral deficiencies that should or would cause this. I spoke with my normal manicurist and she told me the enamel of my nail take off. Ruining the proteins/keratins that it produces. I wouldn't recommend or visit this place again. My tech was Joseph and while he was nice, he may require more training. OR maybe don't accept walk in's if you plan to comprise in quality. This is disheartening bc I typically get my nails done every 4.5 weeks. Now I've been slowly trimming them myself until they are healthy again. Hope this helps someone else. read more

The pedicurist kept saying something that I couldn't understand and then I ended up with callous treatment I hadn't asked for but was charged for. After, she kept following me, telling me to "pay cash". My daughter had the same issue but understood the callous treatment and said no. The manicures were fine. I booked appts for my 13 yr old daughters to get a gel mani/ simple facial/eyebrow waxing ( they needed a confidence boost). You book online, so I saw the exact prices. We went in, it took sooooo long just for nails, and I feel like one of the technicians didn't know what she was doing, and needed constant advice. And it was constant battling about the length, they wanted my 13 yr olds with these daggers. It took about 2 hours for nails alone. After, When they rang me up, they charged me so much extra. I asked to see the bill, and they charged me for European Facial which was $95 not the $40 one I booked. I told them I booked the $40, and they said, the boss said give them the European. I told them that's not what I booked. They gave me hard time saying they pay for their own supplies and such. It was clearly such a racket. I had the email showing exactly what I booked and expected to pay for. The "Extra" charges for french were ridiculous. I will never go again. I was warned by friends about how much they overcharge, but thought it would be a special treat for my twins. After 2 weeks we went to my regular place, and they were done with their GelX nails in under an hour and did such a better job and half the price. read more

Best experience at a nail salon! I made an appt somewhere else initially and when I arrived, fortunately they overbooked themselves so it led me to finding another nail salon. And I'm so glad I found Holly and Hudson. Im leaving for a Mexico vacation in 2 days so needed to find a place that could take me asap and found Holly and Hudson. I called in hopes of making a last minute appt. For 7:45pm on a Thursday night and was greeted via phone by a gentleman who was very kind and accommodating and immediately eased my anxiety. Located inside Manhattan village shopping mall, I showed up for my 7:45pm appt and was treated like a Queen. I was given a massage chair while I waited for my techs and was very quickly seen by my fist tech, Kim who was providing a pedicure. Kim was very sweet and attentive and made sure I was comfortable. Even though I was arriving so late, I was treated with the same care as everyone else which i really appreciated. They provide a list of pedicure services and I asked for the "Rehydrate with Hudson" which is $60. It is listed as a 1.5 hour treatment and includes paraffin, moisture mask, scrub, 15 minute foot massage, etc. it was divine and worth every penny. Though $60 is not common for a pedicure, you're not just paying for a pedicure, you're paying for a treatment. Period. ;) Vivian who was so sweet as well, began working on my hands and at this point most nail techs and customers had left for the night. Even though it was close to closing, Vivian and Kim stayed late, for me. They promised they would provide the same care and not rush me out and I am SO appreciative, because they did just that. I'm so happy with how I was treated, with how the services went and with how my nails look! Even though I live 30 mins away, I promise I found my new go to nail salon.
