Absolutely LOVE THIS NAIL SPA IN Manhattan Beach, Posh Nails! From the moment you walk in and are greeted by Michelle, the Salon Manager, with her warm smile and professional demeanor you begin to relax. The Salon is clean, calm and the space is beautifully organized. The technicians are incredibly friendly, attentive and professional, making sure you are comfortable the entire time. The products are of the highest caliber, relevant and trending. My gel manicure and pedicure were both exceptional. The pedicure is so relaxing. Mary has great hands and the massage is my favorite part. Her attention to detail is outstanding. My manicure with Quincy was impressive, precise shaping, attention to cuticle care and flawless polish application keeps me coming back. She has been my technician of choice for the past 5 years, at least twice a month. Quincy is a talented artist , not just with nails. Her knowledge and education of color, texture and design transcends to the Salon bringing an added value that is rare. She can read my mind when talking about colors. She usually just says, "I know what you want, leave it to me." And she's always right. You can truly tell that ALL the technicians and Michelle care about quality and the customer experience. I unfortunately just had a bad experience today getting my nails done. I originally came in for dip manicure but the technician suggested I try hard gel because it would last longer and protect my nails. I was excited to try hard gel but am very disappointed with how they turned out - my nails were filed in all uneven shapes - the gel itself is bumpy and uneven - the sides of the nails are rippling - the edges are not clean - she put extensions on my pointer fingers because the nails were originally shorter than my other nails and now are much longer than the rest of my nails Overall attention to detail was lacking. This isn't what I would expect for a $75 manicure. I may go back but would not recommend getting hard gel

My dip and gel usually last over 3 weeks but this set only lasted 3 days before they chipped and broke. I knew when I left they were flimsy but I was so over the horrible service I took my chances. The prices are not easy to understand and they tried to up charge me for everything. Avoid this salon at all costs. Complete rip off.

Gel manicures can either go well or completely terrible. This place did a good job. I was in and out within an hour (including the removal of a job gone bad by another nail shop). I called at 9am when they opened, made an appointment for lunch time and popped in right on time. The place was slammmmed so I was expecting a wait...but they were surprisingly ready for me. Will def be back. read more

I was looking for a basic pedicure that was affordable and found it here. It's a no frills, old school massage chair type and it was only $35 for a regular pedicure. If you want fancy, there are plenty of other places for that. read more

I originally came in for dip manicure but the technician suggested I try hard gel because it would last longer and protect my nails. I was getting a gel x manicure almond shape and before I could stop them, they cut the sidewalls of my natural nails (presumably to make it easier to fit under the almond gel x?) in a way that I've never had anyone do before in countless other almond gel x manicures. It destroyed my nail beds shape and still almost a year later my nail grows in horribly flared out. I've never had this experience before read more

Not the best experience on this visit as they brought the wrong color and not the color that I selected. Once they understood and apologized, their solution was to put the correct color on top and do 3 and 4 coats. Then, they charged me full price. No discount. I didn't have time to spend another 1.5 hours for a mani/pedi same time. I'll be looking for a new nail salon. Tina and Kim apologized several times but the owner couldn't care less and wouldn't offer any compensation. One nail already chipped and now had two colors! read more

I have been a customer for over 5 years. I noticed that they cater to White women. For example, white women can be on their phones talking loud. But me as a Black women, they complain because I was on my phone watching a video. I had the sound low where I could hear. I was approached to put my ear buds. I ask whats the difference? I went to posh on Aug-22-Friday Connie did dip powder on my nails she did an amazing job I was completely satisfied. she made my nails look so nice and natural and professional looking. I highly recommend her she did a wonderful job. Jennifer did my delux pedicure she is very serious with her work. never talks just get straight to the point she did an awesome job. The receptionist is always so nice and friendly she handles her job very well . very professional and keep everything running smooth she is very organized and nice and friendly at the same time. Connie did a phenomenal job with my wedding nails! It's hard to tell the depth of the different layers and sparkles in this photo, but in the light they look stellar! Update: I still love this place but was disappointed that my son's pedicure was $35 + tip. He didn't get a massage, color or anything extra. If anything, his pedicure should've cost just $20 max. Definitely going to be taking him somewhere else for a pedicure in the future, but I will still come here for my own pedicure and manicure. read more

Just awful. The lady who did my nails was just deaf to my directions. She asked me what shape I wanted and we agreed on almond. My nails came out super crooked and horribly shaped , and she was completely deaf to my attempts to point at the issue. In addition, she didn't do almost anything about my cuticles, which made my polish look sloppy. The final result makes me want to go redo my nails. My pedicure was done by Tina, and she did a fantastic job. read more

I LOVE Posh nails. June was able to copy a Valentines Day manicure post I found on pinterest. She was patient with me...We tried quite a few different pinks before I found the ones I was happy with. Liz shares space with a cute kid's hair salon in a residential area of Redondo Beach. I've lived here for years and never passed by, even though it's so close I could walk over. I decided to have Liz clean up my brows, and she did a great job. I also had a spa pedicure and am pleased with her work. I came on a Saturday afternoon and it was busy with kids getting haircuts, but I was still able to chill out in the awesome spa chair. Liz did an amazing job as always--she is very focused on quality and it really shows. Keep in mind I live in Playa, so there are plenty of places closer that I could go. But Liz does a great job, genuinely cares for her customers and knows how to run a business. I am so happy I was able to go back to a familiar face and get an awesome mani/pedi. My feet have been through it the last couple of years (sports) and I wanted to get serious about caring for them properly, not just getting them painted. Of course, I turned to Yelp for the scoop and zeroed in on Ms. Glen's Therapeutic Manicures & Pedicures. I finally got a chance to go see Ms. Glen and it was everything I wanted and more. It was relaxing (I fell asleep)! It was restorative! My feet felt and looked healthy and cared for. I didn't get polished which is great because I have been wanting to go natural for a while to let my nails breathe and focus on what's really happening with my toe nail health. So may things I loved (in no particular order): - Very communicative from the appointment (via phone) to the confirmation and directions (via text) - Ms. Glen greeted me at the door - The studio smells divine (really sets the tranquil mood) - The studio was intimate (just me - yay) - The space was very clean (I am a stickler for clean) - There was a complimentary water waiting on me - Ms. Glen has developed her own techniques and products which speaks to her dedication and specialization (I love people who are passionate about what they do!) - Every step of the treatment was appreciated! (very detailed, very attentive, think - pampering your feet from the in-depth massage to the parrafin to the soaks to the grooming and much much more) - I got socks! This was such a special and much needed last step that I never knew I needed. It made my feet more comfortable and protected after such a beautiful treatment. She even asked me my size. How's that for customer service! - Now this one may seem trivial but I never had to hold my feet up during the treatment unless I was transitioning from the bowl to a towel. I do not like having to do that while someone attends to the bottom of my feel or heels. Ms. Glen has it worked out where I can truly relax the whole time. I also left with one of Ms. Glen's therapeutic hand and foot oils in Lemon. She makes the oils herself! It smells so good and leaves a refreshing but not overpowering scent. It feels good oiling my feet every night. Like another reviewer said, this is not your run of the mill pedicure shop. This is a therapeutic service that is worth every penny. My goal is to make this a regular treatment. If my feet are healthy, I am healthier! Thanks Ms. Glen for such a wonderful experience! I'll be back. If your feet are in need of TLC, renewal and restoration, Ms. Glen has a carefully curated service that will leave your feet feeling brand new. I had recently purchased a soap that helps with skin discoloration. It hasn't been making any improvement in the uneven skin tone and dark marks on my feet. Turns out I just needed an appointment with Ms. Glen. The exfoliation she provided literally rubbed away 15 years from my feet. My dry scratchy heels were left supple and smooth and the calloused areas were left soft. Had I known what I was in store for I would have taken before and after pictures. She even provided socks for me to leave in, to seal in the moisture. My favorite part hands down was the massage. She kneaded into these tired soles, and I needed that! I paid a little more than the price listed (which she does quote as a base price) but she also spent almost 2x the amount of time listed. My Fiancé noticed the difference in appearance and feel immediately. I intentionally waited until 24 hours+ had passed to write this review, wanting to see if my feet would feel just as nice. THEY DO!! Ms. Glen definitely puts pride in her work and I love how she checked in throughout the process to ensure I was satisfied along the way. I recommend her service to anyone looking to give their feet a more youthful feel and look. And if your feet have severe issues that might keep you from visiting open public salons, her private suite will help you feel comfortable and secure. Right before I left, Ms. Glen threw in a bottle of her therapeutic hand & foot oil once she saw how dry my hands were. I had discussed my upcoming nuptials with her and she wanted to make sure my hands moisturized properly for my big day, even providing a demonstration on proper application. Ms. Glen is a gem!

I trusted the front desk staff to guide me, and was quoted $80 for Gel-X, builder gel removal, and French tip. At my appointment on Friday 7/18, I was unexpectedly charged $110! I was told the card on file couldn't be used for the service--only for late fees or no-shows--which made no sense. If the salon can charge the card for penalties, why not for the actual service being provided? This was especially frustrating because the appointment was a gift for a huge accomplishment of mine, from my mother, so of course I didn't have the physical card with me. On top of that I was also charged extra for nail length without warning, and billed twice for polish: $20 for gel color and $15 for French tip, even though I only received 1 design; french tip. When I asked for clarification, staff just pointed to the online pricing--but I booked in person to avoid that confusion. The experience felt misleading. I intentionally came in person to avoid confusion and relied on the staff to guide me accurately. Unfortunately, that did not happen. I would not recommend this salon to anyone. If you're considering booking here, I strongly suggest looking elsewhere for more transparent and customer-friendly service.

So I read the reviews and unfortunately they were pretty correct. So first thing is the pedicure was ok. Because I read the bad reviews about no massage w the pedi I asked before I started how long the massage was she said the $45 pedi came w a 13 min massage. So during my pedi the lady said want extra massage? After 5 minutes! She was going to stop but I said no but I was told It was a 13 minute massage so I should have 8 more minutes. She seemed annoyed but smiled and continued for 8 more minutes. I think the pedi was over all good but I would recommend asking how long the massage is first then timing it. I also got a pink and white fill. The girl Annie did it, I am kinda picky and like my nails done a certain way. I was polite but had a couple requests. She had such an attitude and whn I asked for a towel to wash my hands off after the filing, she threw it into my lap! I asked her nicely "did I do something wrong are you upset?" she told me " no my face always looks like this" after that she became rough w me pushing my hands back and forth and not being careful, she cut my finger w the file! So over all the nails look ok butnever go to Annie she was so rude! I asked her to tell me about gel nails which they offer and she told me " I only do pink and whites" and said " I dnt speak English " even though we had been talking fine previously. I also got my eyebrows done the girl did a good job. This place is over priced and the staff acts like their too good to help you. You might b able to get them to do a good job but is it worth it if u have to be on top of them the whole time? I won't go back. read more

Bonnie is truly an amazing nail tech and I had such a wonderful experience with her. I got a pink acrylic French tip and it came out absolutely beautiful--very clean, neat, and shaped perfectly. The attention to detail really shows, and my nails have held up so well without lifting or chipping. Bonnie is also incredibly kind, welcoming, and professional, which made the entire appointment feel comfortable and enjoyable. She also did an excellent job on my eyebrows--they came out very clean and nicely shaped. Overall, I'm extremely happy with her work and will definitely be returning. I like coming to this nail salon. It's filled with a friendly staff. You're always greeted with warm welcomes and well wishes. The owners are fabulous (Ben & Na) and very in tuned with their customers. Always attentive to their customers' needs and experiences at their establishment. The salon is well kept and has great ambience. OG is the girl to see if you want a good experience in doing your next pedicure. She has the cure. I wish I have read the review before I went there. They talked my mom and I into upgrade and getting the paraffin wax. They rushed our service to the point the wax was still warm when they insist on removing it. We had less than 5 minutes of the paraffin time! Then the bill comes for 2 pedi-mani it was way over $120! We did not get gel, any design, anything extra but the paraffin. There is no professionalism here. They kept pushing us to get more add-on. And when we refused, they clearly were upset at us and spoke Vietnamese among themselves. read more

me and a friend are from out of town & were scheduled to be on the ellen show the following day...they got us in an hour before they closed and stayed about 10-15 mins before they closed doing our nails, eyebrows, facials, etc...Miss Bonnie was wonderful and did a great job on my gel polish and brows....that meant so much to us! I essentially paid another $75 for a simple pedicure with gel. I was caught off guard when I was at the front ready to pay. Unfortunately - I will not be coming back, not because the work isn't good but because the pressure to get gel as well as the lack of transparency turned me off.

I then told them why I was treating myself and they all wished me happy birthday with big smiles on their faces. The owner, Anna, heard it and gave me a little gift. So very kind. Thank Anna and all the staff! One other thing I enjoy about this salon is that there is not a TV blaring like is found in other salons. Yesterday a scenic video was playing with relaxing music, which I appreciate because relaxation is what I'm after when I get my nails done.

They do not clean/sanitize the tools between clients or use clean tools from an enclave on each client. Their nail filing and polish application is not clean. My nails were left jagged and polish around my nail beds and on my fingers. They did wipe my nails with cotton and I believe alcohol. The cotton stuck to my nails because my nails were jagged. The pictures were taken after I filed my nails when I got home, so you are unable to see the jaggedness. Pedicure was done by a different person and seems fine. But again, did not use clean tools. Paid using Zelle and was asked to put "pizza" or "dinner". A bit questionable . I do not recommend, nor will I return. Pictures of mani in different lighting.

The tech I received was not clear on price and was very rough filing my nails. I expressed she was hurting me. She continued to cut and burn me with both the drill and hand file. At the end I ended up paying $50 bucks for this. She couldn't show me the price because I don't believe there's a set price. Plus it's all in cash. They have a atm in the shop, which you pay a fee to use both through your bank and the machine. So.. unfortunately, I won't be returning. Too much of a rip off and they are taking advantage of not having set prices , not communicating, adding extra fees and not taking anything but CASH! Save your money, fingers and toes!

A family event at this salon - and while the others had satisfactory experiences, mine was the…read moreopposite. We made a reservation since there were 4 of us. I was the last to receive service as I had the simplest treatment: a classic manicure. The woman was very rough and in addition to her roughness of scraping my nails, her own fingernails often dug into my fingers as she worked. (I think she was the owner as she answered the phone several times while doing my nails). Then she cut my cuticle on my thumb so deep it was bleeding and wouldn't stop. I only hope the instruments were sterilized. The area still hurts two days later. I should have stopped her and did my nails myself which I generally do. Not the enjoyable experience I expected. And the polishing job was so bad, bubbles formed. Complete waste of time and money, leaving me with pain and a mediocre manicure.
