Waiting 10-20 minutes past my appointment time isn't even my biggest issue. What bothers me most is how rushed the appointments feel. My tech was moving so quickly that he nicked my toe pretty badly, and I was actually in pain. My toe kept bleeding throughout the service, and what was really alarming was that he used the polish brush to wipe away my blood multiple times. That's a huge hygiene issue. I was a nail tech for 15 years, and brushes cannot be disinfected once they've been contaminated. That alone is a major red flag. On top of that, the salon is really dirty. There are always toenail clippings and old gel pieces all over the floor, which is unacceptable for any salon. Sweeping should be mandatory and standard. I've given this place plenty of chances because I genuinely loved coming here, but it seems like it just keeps getting worse, and it's not worth the health risk anymore. To make matters worse, my polish doesn't even look good. I chose a solid color, but you can clearly see brush strokes, and it's obvious the top coat was missed in several spots.

I booked thru their Instagram page and got a response with available times within minutes. I booked in the evening for the next morning and she managed to get me an appointment. The moment I walked in, I was immediately greeted by the receptionist and offered something to drink. I was a bit early but my technician was ready for me to be seated. After sitting she took a look at my nails and asked what I had in mind for my nails. I showed her some inspo pictures and she complimented how beautiful the inspo was and went ahead and started. Every instrument/ tool she used was fresh out of those sterilizing packages so that was comforting to see. She was so precise at cleaning up my cuticles, and made small talk to get to know me. She also checked in every step to make sure I was comfortable and happy with the progress. She did not try to upsell me with anything, it didn't feel rushed and my nails came out exactly how I wanted. After the service she educated me on the importance of hydrating my hands/ nails with lotion and cuticle oil to help my manicure last longer and stay healthy. That manicure lasted me about 4 weeks (it could've lasted longer if I didn't want to change the color already) and it did not chip or look dull. I have been back a few times since and each technician I book with has been amazing.

Then later, after filing the tops of my toes I felt pain while she was cutting back my cuticles. I asked her to again please do not go that deeply. Then I noticed I was bleeding. So I reiterated that I was pregnant, did not feel this was appropriate due to the infection risk and to please be gentler. The technician finished everything else sufficiently and without pain. Though after I had to wait for 5 minutes to pay as the receptionist had taken a personal phone call. Despite the other technicians yelling for her she did not come to check me out. Finally one of them went outside the front of the salon and got the receptionist to come and help me. No apology nothing. Overall I will not be back her and do not recommend based on my experience.
