My review is based upon the lack of availability for appointments for the technicians. Whenever I call, the receptionist only offers me appointments that are late in the evening and 1-2 hr before closing which isn't considerate. I called to inquire about appointments and the receptionist stated that the techs make their own appointments, but when I went last week, the tech mentioned that the front desk books their appointments. It definitely feels like a lack in honesty, transparency, and customer service. If my business isn't appreciated, then I can find a different nail salon who will appreciate a client who spends $100+ each time for my nails plus tip because this is disappointing and frustrating. Besides this matter, the Nail techs that I have worked with have been great and I hope to continue working with them as long as I can get a decent scheduled appointment when I call in advance notice. read more

I came here for a gel pedicure and the lady was way too rough when doing my cuticle care. She also filed my right big toe too thin and I had to take off the gel from that toe at home with acetone because it was hurting and I was concerned. I didn't even get to enjoy having a fresh pedicure. Money down the drain, would not come back here. read more

The wait time was not bad at all, there was no wait time. But usually I am not picky on who I get for my nails because I like going with everyone. Today I got Nancy. Nancy isn't the worst but isn't the greatest. She doesn't make the best decisions with hygiene. She dropped one her tools in the floor hesitating and picked it up with the glove just washed it in the water she was using on my feet put it back into her dish and didn't even change her glove. Pretty disappointed. I rushed out without thoroughly checking bec I was already short on time. Didnt have much time so I carved 1.5 hours to clean up my nails. I got gelx by patrick (?) and nail tech was kind. But his work was definitely not worth their gelx rate $60. There was no cleaning of the hands after nail was applied, glue is everywhere and no clean up after too. Disappointed that they even let someone who clearly isnt qualified or trained well to perfom certain services. But mostly disappointed bec of the time I lost. First time trying out this place and my experience with getting a gel pedicure was great. I called ahead of time to ask if they take walk-ins, which they do but keep in mind they close at 7:30pm. They take cash, card and also have an ATM available in store. I just recently moved to the area and it's hard finding a new place to go to after going somewhere else for over 6 years but I'm glad I found Nailspa Excel and Ben, the technician who assisted me. I will say however, the lady up front who "greeted me" (if you can call it that) was a little off putting. As soon as I walked in, she's right up front and just stared at me, not even a hello. I told her I had no appointment and would like to get a gel pedicure, she then proceeded to not say anything to me, she just turned back and talked in her language and when she turned back to face me just said "Okay." I took this as a cue to just sit down and wait at this point. Regardless, Ben was great and made me feel more at ease while he was working on me. He asked if it was my first time there, went over their available services and was also very attentive to his work. Ben definitely made my experience a lot better and as of now I think I have found the place I'll be going to from now on. Give them a try! read more

Disappointed I got gel on my hand and regular polish on my toes, I picked the same exact color for both so I don't understand why the colors are so off. I mentioned this to the nail artists and they said it was normal because one was gel and the other wasn't, but they look like two totally different colors .. Otherwise they came out very clean and they did a great job with the mani/pedi so I'm still happy with those services. I was also seated very quickly and they were very nice. The colors being so different despite supposedly being the same color really messes with me. The toes are the shade I was going for, and the hands are what aren't the right shade. read more

I have been seeing (Nail Technician) NA for my nails since 2020, and have even followed her to this location, she always does a fantastic job on my nails, she is very detailed and skilled in her craft. NA has also introduced my to (Nail Technician) Chung who's been doing my pedicures for a little over 1 year now, she's very patient when doing pedicures and my favorite part is getting the massage and additional pedicure add ons with her, I really love this nail spa and come here every 2 weeks religiously, it's such a comfy, clean, and quiet environment. As they say, if I could give it zero stars I would. This place is all about hurry up, rush, rush, rush, business business business, no care for quality or customer service. I haven't had a gel manicure in over five years, but the other day, I decided why not it'll save me time in the long run. Unfortunately, two days later, my nails started lifting on the sides and began to chip and peel. I called the salon and was that they were too busy that day but if I returned the next day they would fix it. I asked if they needed my name and the lady said "no, no just come in and they'll know what you're talking about". Well, this morning I did just that. I told the lady why I was there and she told me to go sit at table number three. At the end, she attempted to charge me $37! When I explained my situation again, she said "no no you got a full set". Me: A full set of wet, I got a gel manicure! Her: You should have told me when you came in. Me: I did, but apparently you didn't listen. Her: Well I wasn't working on Sunday (the day I called) What? As I said, customer service....NONE!!!! To add insult to injury, I went back and checked their prices and realized that very same lady charged me $92 for what should've cost me $63 (a gel manicure and a regular pedicure). Needless to say I will never return to this place! In the past, they've done mediocre manicures and usually I end up with cuts and knicks around my cuticles, but I've continued to go back because it was convenient. Convenient at this point is not that important to me! Thanks, but no thanks! On another note, it should be said that Tom did an excellent job fixing my gel manicure.
