I'm so glad we did! Ambiance: The salon is attached to a spa, but not affiliated with it. It's a cozy little room with two comfy massage chairs, pillows, and warm decorations/art. The sky was clearing up after some rain today and they had the door open, letting the warm sunshine and fresh air in. It was lovely. :) Service: Nhung and Shelby helped us and they were so kind, friendly, and all-around great! They were patient as I mulled over polish and helped my indecisive self narrow my options down. They are very thorough and precise in their work and, even with only two chairs, they don't make you feel like they're rushing you out for the next appointment. Price: They are so amazingly affordable for where they're located! I got a gel manicure at $25 and regular pedicure at $15, while my husband got a standard mani/pedi for $30 total. Definitely some of the more reasonable pricing in the South Bay. Tip #1: It's better to call just before coming instead of making an appointment. This is because they take walk-ins and may ask you to bump your appointment a bit if a walk-in takes longer than expected. Calling in is the most flexible way to avoid the frustration that may come with having your appointment bumped or not being able to get your own walk-in. Tip #2: If you're trying to get your man to head to the nail salon with you to do some hand and foot maintenance, you should try starting here! The privacy of the place might make him feel a little less self-conscious and help him realize the wonders of a good mani/pedi. ;) It's actually a cute little spot if you're heading out for some 1-on-1 time. I essentially paid another $75 for a simple pedicure with gel. I was caught off guard when I was at the front ready to pay. Unfortunately - I will not be coming back, not because the work isn't good but because the pressure to get gel as well as the lack of transparency turned me off.

The owner controls the products that are used in salon, and because of this there are no cheap products used by individual manicurists. I go every 4 to 5 weeks forl my fill, French manicure with acrylic and gel topper. My nails never chipped Harley ever. And all those years I've been going, maybe they have chipped five or six times. But I just call in, go in and they fix it quickly and then I'm off and running again. I go to Bonnie for my nails and Katie for my toes. I highly highly recommend them both! I booked thru their Instagram page and got a response with available times within minutes. I booked in the evening for the next morning and she managed to get me an appointment. The moment I walked in, I was immediately greeted by the receptionist and offered something to drink. I was a bit early but my technician was ready for me to be seated. After sitting she took a look at my nails and asked what I had in mind for my nails. I showed her some inspo pictures and she complimented how beautiful the inspo was and went ahead and started. Every instrument/ tool she used was fresh out of those sterilizing packages so that was comforting to see. She was so precise at cleaning up my cuticles, and made small talk to get to know me. She also checked in every step to make sure I was comfortable and happy with the progress. She did not try to upsell me with anything, it didn't feel rushed and my nails came out exactly how I wanted. After the service she educated me on the importance of hydrating my hands/ nails with lotion and cuticle oil to help my manicure last longer and stay healthy. That manicure lasted me about 4 weeks (it could've lasted longer if I didn't want to change the color already) and it did not chip or look dull. I have been back a few times since and each technician I book with has been amazing.

So I reiterated that I was pregnant, did not feel this was appropriate due to the infection risk and to please be gentler. The technician finished everything else sufficiently and without pain. Though after I had to wait for 5 minutes to pay as the receptionist had taken a personal phone call. Despite the other technicians yelling for her she did not come to check me out. Finally one of them went outside the front of the salon and got the receptionist to come and help me. No apology nothing. Overall I will not be back her and do not recommend based on my experience.
