Great job with nails. Lasted over a week. Did not chip nor wear down. Nice and very clean.

The pedicure was amazing... the manicure was horrible. From customer service to details. I showed pictured and even said the same length and structure as the receptionist for visual (except for color design). Been here many times before for my own engagement and wedding nails and was happy. But this time was beyond upset. She made me bleed, she couldn't even do a simple nail design I showed her. Some nails thick, the side showing my nails. She did zero cuticle prep. Didnt bother to trim my nails or clean prior. On a different note, receptionisy was great and so was the lady who did my pedicure. Wont be going back. I prefer a sociable nailist who talks to you and actually is nice. read more

I walked in, requested a manicure, was seen right away. Nice place, about 4/5 cleanliness. $25 for no polish manicure. I'll be back!

I loved coming here when we lived in Redondo and the ladies were all very sweet and did a great job. The one star is because they consistently cannot honor appointments - I have given them 3 separate tries to see if it was a fluke, but it does not matter how far in advance you book, they will not start your service until at least 30 minutes after you arrive. Even then, they will interrupt your service to assist walk ins. Its a lovely and clean facility but not somewhere to go if you don't want to be there all day. read more

Have been going to this nail place for over 5 years now. So close to home and service is always great! Ana is my go to nail technician and she's the best! She's very detailed and also works with my schedule to make herself available for my appointment. The place is very clean and have so much selection in terms If the colors. read more

This is the best nail place. Polite and professional. They do a great job! Everyone should try it!

I just had my best mani/ pedi at Lux! I also did eyebrow waxing. The place is VERY clean, staff is extremely pleasant. Good music, excellent massage, and did I mention clean? I was impressed. I've found my new nail salon, I am so very happy! read more

I went here a couple months ago and it was GREAT! The staff was friendly, polite and honestly I can't complain, they are amazing at their job. The spa itself is soo pretty. I got a pedicure and my nail tech was super nice and my nails turned out super pretty, and I def recommend read more

Great pedicure for stress relief and the people here are so nice! Highly recommen! thank you!

I used to go here regularly but the last few times I've noticed that quality has gone down. Service is also unorganized. We had to wait over 45 minutes past our appointment when we got there and they acted as if it was common. read more

I don't typically get mani pedis but I drive by this place everyday and wanted to do something nice for my cousin's wedding. Service was great, my nails look awesome and the person who did my 10 minute massage as part of the manicure package I bought had very strong hands. This place was also very busy for a Wednesday morning so I take that as a good sign considering how many nail salons are in Redondo. Will definitely come back. read more

I love going to this salon! Denise is amazing and does an excellent job! I always feel welcome and enjoy my services.

The salon was clean and the service itself was enjoyable (massage, manicurists). I had to change course last minute due to getting to another appointment and asked for clear polish instead of a color. My cuticles looked terrible/untouched, the clear polish came off in one sheet the next day and since this appointment my nail health has not been the same. They have been ripping, fragile, bending. I am hoping to connect with management on a refund. read more

Wow. I used to come to this salon before COVID but not on a regular basis because the prices were a bit high. My regular salon is now closed for remodeling so I came back here. When I arrived, the place was empty. I asked for a mani / pedi and was told they no longer offer discounts when you get both. They handed me a menu and the price was $55 and $45 for both. I asked for a shiny buff on my hands and that was $7 more. For this price, they included wax on the hands, a short shoulder massage and longer massage on the feet. I don't usually get the wax or longer massages so was a bit disappointed they force this service on you. With tip included, the price was double what I'm used to paying. Looking at my nails, they just look ok, nothing special. I will not be back. read more

No fans! Ouch! My nails got all messed up. They didn't let me pay or get my keys prior to doing the nail polish. Then they tell me they have no fans. So they redid the one nail and as soon as I left I had they were so bad I had to redo them when I got home. I didn't over $340. Never again!!! read more

Regular nail salon, but very clean, efficient, and attentive. I was a little cold and they opened doors for me! Also let me change the music, and tv channel. Very cool. They also do threading, facials, and other services. I recommend an appointment, as there were times I couldn't get in. Convenient to get a car wash downstairs, while you get a mani! I recommend! read more

I use to go to this place long before Covid (under different ownership) and it was great. It was only slightly more expensive than other places but value for money. Post covid new owner, pricing increased significantly compared to same service at other salons. I had to look for alternatives because the cost is about 75 over other places for a full mani pedi. I have to write this review because I like the place but, my nails have looked like crap this last time I went in there for an acrylic fill gel mani and pedi. It cost about $300 and my mani looks like crap. I had to have one of the other places that I have found fix it. It's convent for me to go there but not value for money any longer. If this was the first time I was not satisfied with my mani I would give them another chance but this is the third time and at a cost of almost 300 I would not recommend going there. read more

Honestly all I asked for was square gel x with French tip. I asked that they are straight and sharp square. The could not do the shape and somehow they turned out flared at the ends with round edges. The French is not clean at all. The shape of the nail is weird and flat with no c curve. I asked for a simple classic nail and got the worst nail job of my life. And on top of that they were $85. read more

They did a nice job n prices are good they were really friendly I like how they treat people

Came in for a Pedi with my husband. He liked his service and said the gal who worked on him did a fantastic job. She was gentle and gave a good massage. I had Denise and it was TERRIBLE. She dug into my big and left them throbbing. She gave a half assed massage and was annoyed I didn't want to upgrade the Pedi. For the price these nail techs should be well trained and give good service. She was horrible at cutting the cuticles as well. I felt like she was ripping my toes. I have been coming here for years and have never had a problem. Stay away from DENISE!! read more

Gel polish only lasted less than 2 days before peeling off. I went on Friday at 5pm and it started lifting on Sunday morning. They didn't have the color I picked originally, so I had to go with a substitute that was nowhere close to what I wanted. The manicurist was in a huge rush, when I told her I wanted to keep my nail length she simply said "no" and quickly filed all of my nails down to nubs (one finger bled). Really bummed, as I paid $45 and it was totally not worth it. 0/10 DO NOT RECOMMEND read more

First time at this nail salon. Went in to get my nails done for my birthday! Clean, safe, taking precautions for COVID. Kim helped me pick colors as I'm too indecisive. Originally went with a clear and pink, but wasn't the look I wanted since the nail was visible below. I was happy with the end result. Total was $60 luckily I had a gift card. Received many compliments on the color combo I went with! read more

Fraudulently charged my debit card & found out this has been going on for 2+ years. Noticed two unusual ATM charges on my statement yesterday. Turns out this place has not only been charging $1 for using their credit card machine to pay, this machine is actually set up as an ATM machine, so every time I paid, I was charged a non-bank ATM fee of $3. They also ran my card separately for service and tip one day, which resulted in my being double-charged the ATM fee. I called and was told owner "Kelly" would call me back to discuss but she didn't. I have now filed claims with my bank for every time I went there in the last two years and will never go to this salon again. Beware! read more

I have been going to Lux Nail Spa for 10+ years now. I have had some amazing nail artists there and some amazing massages!! Obviously, the final look of my nails matters but taking me time there is so important too. I have two little ones and don't get much relaxation time but Denise and Ana take the best care of me. Ana is amazing with artificial nails, she shapes impeccably and makes my nails look beautiful. If you want the best most relaxing pedicure make sure to see Denise. She does an amazing job with the nails and cuticles and always tends to my needs. She gives an AMAZING foot and leg massage which I always extend at least 5 more minutes. Plus, she knows this pressure point on the bottom of the foot that helps with the ticklish jumping foot which I definitely have. If you want a regular manicure or gel manicure make sure to see Susan, she does a beautiful job on your nails but gives the best neck and upper back massage too. I highly recommend Lux to anyone who wants to relax and be pampered, plus you can get a green tea or champagne during your service too at no additional charge. read more

I stopped going to this place for about 2 years because I received a terribly painful pedicure and was very disappointed in how they handled the situation. I finally went back today and I'm in shock. I upgraded my mani/pedi and spent $150 (including eyebrow wax) and the ladies made it sound like I would be pampered. There was no scrubbing, there was no aromatherapy, the massaging was more like rubbing. I did receive the callous remover (as advertised) but it wasn't as thorough as it should have been for $70!!! The lady who did my toes was digging her long nails into my feet as she "massaged." At one point it hurt so much that she saw me cringe and apologized, which is fine, but continued as usual. (If someone is giving massages then they should not have long nails!) I certainly can't be the only one this has happened to. Anyway, I also received a very basic eyebrow wax, no tweezers were used to clean anything up and no light to sit under to make sure it's done properly. Long story short, the ladies rushed through my services because they had two women come in who were waiting. I could have gone down the street and received the same treatment for half the price. This place is a complete rip off. At the very least, I recommend sticking to the basic mani/pedi and don't upgrade. It's a complete gimmick. read more
