It's just ok. The good things about this salon do not outweigh the bad. I will say most the times I have went they have not been busy- so no wait time. However the prices are insane- they charge extra $20 for chrome- which is just a powder on top of polish- they charge extra $20 for the halo- or magnet nails. Any colors more than 1- additional $, per color! Any type of design or shape- $! Any jewels $ per finger. I am not even being petty - they do a great job on nails- lasts long time- no lifting, or breaking. But you will pay $100+ for anything cute and that's just the hands! The pedicure is more reasonable- but it should be- most people only do the flashy toenails a few weeks in the summer. I didn't even get gel on my toes- so every 2 minutes she would ask me if I wanted - callus remover- or extra time for a massage- that she never gave the first part of- if I wanted Paraffin wax or sugar scrub. I politely said just a regular pedicure. She cut my toes around the cuticles at least 4 different places- when I said " that hurts, please be gentle- she didn't even look up" ok- I was done with pedicure before nails so she did put a fan by my feet to dry the polish. When she put my shoes on- (flip flops) she messed up big right toe- looked at it and kept going. I normally tip very well- especially around the holidays. and in all honestly I've been to this place a few times- I have a friend that likes it a lot- we often go together. I'm writing my review this time only because every time I go it's more expensive. They do not give you a breakdown of the charges- you have to take their word for it. Which I wasn't really happy about. My normal tip was cut in half because of costs, and I did not get pedicure but the one time. I understand that the manicurist isn't responsible for pricing. However- when I asked why it's more expensive each time I come in- she responded not in the best tone with saying "because you ask for more and more each time you come in" I got gel polish on acrylic nails. She filed them down just a bit before starting the fill. My polish was gel polish a solid color with one other color on one nail. I paid $105- tipped $10 and will not be going back. I prefer going to a salon and tipping more for good service. Not being pinched for $5 for every small thing done - pay your people - let them get some $$$ read more

Atmosphere - Clean salon, great decorations (lots of bling), no wait with appointment, small parking lot but many stalls Customer service - Friendly service, they aim to please. Had a dip manicure which started falling off within 24 hours. I called to let them know, they were apologetic and asked me to come back to fix it which I did. They redid it with no problems. They apologized and refused to take any money. I wanted to at least give a tip but she reassured me it's ok. You already paid me the first time. I was really touched and impressed. Class act! Will definitely be back. Price - Average One little note, they do speak a lot in their dialect but they are very nice so I would not take it personally. My daughter and I went here for the first time today, to get pedicures and these were the BEST pedicures we've had! We did one above the basic, I believe it was $40, and it was well worth it! What I appreciated most about this place is they took their time! We were there for about an hour and I feel like that made the difference between this salon and other salons. I'm so used to them rushing to get it done and move on to the next customer but they took their time. It might be different if they were really busy, but I don't think it would be less than 30 minutes like most places are. We will be going there from now on!! read more

I usually don't get my nails done; however, I felt like treating myself! I called to see if they had any open appointments, and luckily they did. I had a very specific design in mind (I had a pic as example). I showed it to Ana, and she said she could do it. Although she had a bit of trouble, and needed help to do the design she was able to finish it herself. One thing I didn't like was that the nail polish smeared a bit when she put the top coat on. This was my first time coming to get my nails done here. I did not ask for anything special, gel with acrylic with basic colors. No designs or gems. A pedicure with gel. I walked in and a very kind girl came up and I asked for one and another shaved head women were very kind- and they gave me one. an Avery woman with hair up in a clip literally marched over and yelled at me and ripped it out of my hands (they had like twenty of them) and started yelling at me saying- what's this? What's this? THEY WERE EMPTY by the way not a soul in sight- you would have thought they would be welcoming and want business and at least be kind- was 11am in morning kind of crazy to be that angry at the world already. The people were friendly. My concern is with the price and not getting enough time for my nails to dry. I was charged $45 for eye, lip, and chin waxing. I never even asked for chin waxing since there was no hair there. Before closing, the manicurist let my nails dry with fans, and then said I could leave. First I called for an appointment for a gel pedicure and to fix a nail she said $47 I felt like that was fair a gel pedicure and a silk wrap fix. Tells me to come in 45 mins, I get there in about 50 mins. I sit in the chair for another 15-20 mins waiting to be serviced. I'm slightly annoyed. She finally starts my pedicure and she starts filing my skin. I ask them how much again and they add an additional $5 to the price for taking off the gel... so the pedicure is now $52 for a BASIC gel pedicure. The price for silk wrap fix wasn't even added to it. No scrubbies, or anything fancy, just cut up skin and a bad shape. When I decided I didn't want gel and to leave they then bumped the gel removal price to $10... to take off the gel. Adding gel to a pedicure also adds $20 to the price. Very greedy. Long story short, you're being over charged for the worst pedicure. I actually got up and left with out the gel. Do not waste your time. The place is not even fancy like that. They tell you, you need to check the price, like I didn't ask the lady?!? Crazy. Let's be very clear here. The Service was TERRIBLE. Seating me and starting my pedicure are TWO different things. So, I have been on the hunt for a new spot for pedicures and decided to try Jeanny's. It is close to home and had good reviews so I figured I would give it a go. First impressions were good, they take your temperature and give you hand sanitizer at the door. I had an appointment for two and we were seated promptly. Jeanny's has wonderful massage chairs that are clean and in good working order. I was there for a gel pedicure and they had many colors to choose from. My son was getting a gel manicure and found a color he liked pretty quickly. Everything was going well until a mother and daughter getting their nails done started what I considered an inappropriate, foul conversation. These women were speaking with the woman doing their nails about loose women, women of the night and the differences between the two, in graphic terminology. The colorful language continued to include talking about *** dumpsters (It rhymes with gum) and other lovely adjectives. It was so uncomfortable and with blatant disregard for being in the presence of a middle school age child. The woman doing their nails did not dissuade them from doing so and even joined in the raunchy conversation. That part of the experience soured what was supposed to be a relaxing afternoon with my son. Will I return to Jeanny's? Perhaps. The job that Christine did on my nails was good. They allow you to Venmo for tips which is nice as well. When I paid, they showed me the break down of what everything cost too. I had a terrible experience! My first and last time I will be back. They overfiled/buffed my nails so bad it was painful. I finally had to tell them to stop and just put the polish on. Basically my nails are paper thin and ruined now. I asked to just have regular polish put on next instead of getting the gel. I've come here 5 times so far with this time being my sixth time. The first 3 times i came here they did so so. I always get white French tip gel mani & pedi. The lady doing my pedicure this time scratched the skin around my toes when buffering my nails. Even though I told her she was scratching my skin, it happened a few more times. Her French tip job wasn't the best and the line is not straight. I can tell she is still learning....surprised they charged me full price for it. I didn't get a chance to get my manicure done. Update on my last review: Y'ALL, Helen is honestly THE best. I decided I wanted to go a little extra and get a full set of extensions with dip powder, and the results amazed me. The shape is exactly how I wanted it, and the thickness of the nails came out perfect - thin enough to look natural but thick enough to remain sturdy and not break from everyday activities. Helen's attention to detail, craftsmanship, and patience is phenomenal, and these really show in her work. Just refer to my photos below! She really took her time to get the ombré design perfect, & truthfully speaking, these are the prettiest nails I've had. I've seen some other reviews point out the slight steepness in price, but you really get what you pay for, and I'm definitely willing to pay a bit extra here considering how happy I leave every time. read more

I've been trying for many years to grow my natural nails and have been very patient (I've maintained them natural for 10+ years)- I am able to grow them but they remain weak no matter how many vitamins I take. I broke 4 nails on the same day this last week which ended up being the final straw for me. I went to Jeanny's nails today requesting a full set of nails, where as normally I would go in for a simple gel manicure. Did not even get anything fancy just a red french tip almond nail. I even told Jennifer that I had somewhere I needed to be at 7pm but I did not leave until 7:15... my appointment was at 5:30! I understand and appreciate the attention to detail and caring about the quality of the nail job, but this was a ridiculous amount of time to sit for a fill. This place is horrible and extremely racist. I was harassed by the owner IN MY TWO VISITS there. I went here for a polish change, gel polish, and I had two nails that needed a repair. In total, they charged me $40 for those services, ridiculous! On that same day, one of the nails I had repaired broke in the same place. When I went back to get it fixed, I was yelled out and bullied. Told that it was my fault I didn't ask for a new nail, when the associate never once asked if i needed a new nauAnd that they would charge me $8 to fix it, when it was their mistake. I have never felt so uncomfortable and unwelcome, as well as embarrassed as I was the only black customer in a shop full of white women. DO NOT GO TO THIS PLACE! Horrible service. In response to Jeanny's reply, I never asked for glue on my nails. I have an overlay of acrylic on my nails therefore I don't use any glue. I hope this goes to shows customers that you and your employees aren't honest and try your best to make black customers feel uncomfortable and as if they don't know what they are talking about. It has been stated in several reviews that you guys overcharge so my situation is also a perfect demonstration that. The fact that your reply to my review was an explanation rather than just an apology for my poor customer experience goes to show that you guys DO NOT put the customer first.
