I walked in for a mani-pedi last week and was able to be helped right away, which was awesome. Accessible parking is also a huge win in my book since not all places in South Bay can say the same. The women helping me were very nice and did a great job getting my nails in good shape! There were lots of colors to choose from. My only complaint is that the salon looked a little run down with stained towels. It was also an additional $30 total for gel (regular, not gel x) so be ready to add that to your bill. Called scheduled an appointment today. Came 10 minutes early for it today and they were slammed. Which I get it .... waited 40 minutes and still no one was available to start my appointment. The prices are usually reliable. However, the work isn't. I usually go here just for a regular manicure and pedicure. But last times they gave me gel nails, didn't tell me that i wouldn't be able to remove them on my own. I wish they would have given me a warning. Their pedicure wasn't bad. I just wish they would have warned me about the gel nailpolish. The gay guy is the usual nail tech I go to, but he wasn't there that day. This is my first review ever but my experience here was quite diabolical. I'm not a Karen and always work things out in person quietly. My experience here (with the male nail tech Nai (sp?)) was unbelievably sub par that I feel the need to dissuade others from coming here. I came in for gel removal and regular mani, asked for round oval shape and only cut a tiny bit as I worked hard to grow them out. He cut and filed my nails down pretty short, one hand was square and one hand was oval (see pics). When I pointed out a dramatic slant on a few nails he gaslit me (lol!) in real time saying where's the slant, as if it wasn't obvious - he ended up fixing begrudgingly. I cut the appointment short as it was clear I would need to spend some time reversing the work myself and wanted to prevent more botchedness. They made me pay for full service and I did because - even while I was trying to be subtle - the entire salon was staring at me and I just wanted to get out of there. Having said that, when I went here a previous time, the nail tech Victor was pretty good. If you feel the need to go here, I'd only recommend seeing him. read more

My go to nail place! One of the gentlemen (didn't get his name but is usually wearing a cap) did my gel-x nails. All I did was show him a picture off of Pinterest and he was able to do it. This is my first time here, and had a pleasant experience. There's a parking lot behind the building when you arrive. It's a pretty small salon with no TV to occupy your time. I got gel acrylics and a pedicure. It was one of the best pedicure I've ever had, the lady who did my pedi was very patient and extremely detailed oriented. Popped in to get a gel pedicure on a Saturday afternoon. The team is super friendly and treated me so good! The salon is clean and there are about 6 spa chairs that look pretty new (not from the late 1900's) when I walked in they were about to start karaoke so I am bummed that I interrupted. I would definitely recommend this spot. There is either street parking (if you're lucky) or parking in the back. I wish I had done more research before going to Dayus. There was one nail tech (Emma) who had a constant stream of customers and if I had known, I would have chosen her as my nail tech. I came in a few days ago to have my gel-x nails removed and a regular manicure. Unfortunately, I left with bumpy, uneven nails with 80% of the bonding glue on my nails. When I brought up the bumpy nails and amount of glue left on my nails, the person performing the services kept saying it's okay. There was too much of a language barrier to argue and it was clear that she wanted the manicure to end so I dropped it. I gave myself a few days to maybe get use to the nails but truth is, they look awful and I'll need to visit another salon to get some more of the glue removed and smooth out my nails. read more

I got a gel manicure 10 days ago. The first day after the manicure, two nails chipped. I returned and they fixed them for free and didn't accept a tip, which was a very nice gesture. Unfortunately, after that, other nails continued to chip. Now on day 10 my nails are visibly distressed and in need of a new manicure. I've never had this experience before. Normally my gels last at last 14 days if not longer. Looking back, the woman who did my manicure was very rushed and didn't do a great job (unlike the lady who did my pedicure who was very patient and took her time). Unfortunately I don't think I can recommend this place. read more

I badly needed a mani/pedi and figured I'd try this place since it was so close to home and had 4 stars. When I arrived it was empty. They seemed nice enough but most can't speak English well. The one doing my hands, poked one finger with the cuticle trimmer, then actually cut another and drew blood. I have hammer toe on one toe and the lady doing my feet was talking about it to the other one. Later, she made a visibly annoyed face which I thought was rude and unprofessional. Then on my second foot, she rushed through it and also nicked me with cuticle clipper and drew blood. Neither lady apologized for nicking/poking me! The pedicure tech tried to cover it with her thumb and hide it (as if I couldn't feel that). Neither really tried to make me feel like a customer. Unfortunately I didn't have a great experience. The reason i came here is because my nail tech moved and I had to find a new one. What I didn't like about this place is that price kept going up for the services that i wanted. I was quoted $45 for dip, $5 soak off, $45 for a pedicure, plus the gel polish. It was going to be over $125. I wouldn't mind paying for it but I was so uncomfortable during my mani and pedi because I kept getting burned with the heat of the file and having the cuticles cut with a hot file. It was not relaxing at all. I felt like my entire nail bed was paper thin so I decided to do regular polish instead to give my toe nails a break. For the massage part of my pedicure, instead of lotion they used a menthol oil, unusual. The gentleman that was doing my nails was so rough and was making fun of the color I chose because I asked for a matte top coat. He asked me "you like that color ? " after the nail tach doing my toes finished. "Yes, i do ! ". At the end he only did 1 top coat not sure why because I've done matte before and always get 2. The overall out come was decent but the experience wasn't. What really upset me is that the customer sitting right next to me was quoted $95 total for the exact same services they were quoting me over $125 for. That is unfair, rude and was the ultimate why I decided at that point that I would never return. There's tons of nail salons around this area. I will gladly take my business to another location. read more

To preface this I am EXTREMELY picky about my nails. I used to be a nail biter so any untrimmed cuticle or hang nail will drive me up the wall. I'm also very particular about designs. That being said - Emma absolutely KILLED it! this was a design I saw on here and I just asked her to recreate it with this mint green color. Regardless I think she would be capable of doing pretty much any design you asked her to. She took her time, was extremely meticulous with all details, and I have 0 complaints. The shape, color, design, all of it - amazing. Safe to say I will be a frequent customer here! Also, they have a bunch of OPI gel, they do hard gel/gel builder, gel x extensions, etc. call and ask and I'm sure they do it here. Absolutely unprofessional!! I called ahead and made an appointment for a couple of nails to be fixed (got a fill 4 days prior). I had to wait and when I was finally helped the man who sat down didn't ask or say anything to me and glued new nails on. They were completely different shapes so I tried to express that, he didn't respond and proceeded to try and rip off the new nail he had just glued. Loved this place !!! They took me in without an appointment, I was greeted in a friendly manner. They offered me a complimentary drink, options if sparkling water, mimosa, wine, tea or regular water. That's an absolute plus for me. I was very specific on how I wanted my mani and pedi since I brought my own Deborah Lippmann buffer, my nail strengthening polish, my own opi base and top coat. They were more than happy to accommodate my OCD ways of doing my own nails. I'm sooooo happy with their service. Will I be coming back? Absolutely !!! And I recommend this little place to anyone. This was the first time I went to this location. The staff was extremely welcoming as soon as we walked in. I have been looking for a good salon that does dip powder and Emma did it perfectly.
