Needed a manicure very last minute and Cindy's took me at my needed time. It is located on Artesia just down the street from house. The place has been around a long time delivering good one on one attention. Nice feeling from some of the larger salons. I will say they had a small selection of gel colors but found one I liked. She did my gel mani/pedi in under a hour and very reasonably priced. By appointment only but worth it! read more

Rosa's customer service is phenomenal but her art work unfortunately is not good. I was charged $50 for a pedicure and unfortunately my nail was missing color and the polish job was horrible. I didn't want to spend money elsewhere so I went home and repainted my toe nails. read more

I got my nails done here today for the first time and wanted to get a pedicure too, but as she did my finger nails and I experienced her work I decided against getting more work by her. I honestly think I could've done a better job myself at home. She didn't clean my cuticle and I mentioned it to her and she said other people do it wrong. I should've taken it as a sign that most of her nail polishes were gunky and dry and looked old and like they hadn't been mixed or moved in a while. I was going to get a pedi and manis for my 3 girls too, but hated what little she did to my hands so I decided against it. I didn't want to be rude in front of my kids, but I really wanted to let her know to her face that she had given me the WORST mani I've ever had so far and that's it might be time to retire if she doesn't have a passion for her work anymore. read more

I found Rose via Yelp reviews and proximity, as I've been short with free time, so I needed to get my nails done BADLY somewhere close by. Rose stayed late to accommodate my schedule and last minute notice. The place was clean and she let me pick my color right away for the gel mani. Chairs are covered, table separated with plexi glass, & she made sure to show me the tools had been sanitized. Rose was open to communication; she wanted me to keep my nails a good length but I wanted to cut them down to my shortest nail, so she did. I'm so grateful about this visit! As a healthcare worker, I've been careful about the establishments I go to, and hadn't gotten my nails done since 2019! Will def be back! read more

Discovered Cindy's when I yelped salons in the area and saw it was right around the corner. Rose answered the phone and I decided to check it out. Rose made the experience pleasant and my nails look beautiful. She was gentle and the time went by quickly. Why Cindy's rocks: Service is top notch. High quality manicure and pedicures. I was driving by today and just noticed Cindy's Nails and a walk in welcome sign! I actually did a uturn because I just love small places over the mall where I was headed to look for something. (I just moved here.) I'm SO glad I did! Rose is a one woman show in there and she is SO sweet! Her prices are way more reasonable than those bigger places too! Rose is amazing! She rents out the space and she's so sweet. If you call and ask for a time outside of hours listed, she'll try to accommodate you. I get acrylic done here. I got them for $25 and $18 for refill. I got a pedicure with my acrylic and it was $40 so she knocked off a couple of dollars. read more

WORST NAILS I HAVE EVER GOTTEN!! Just look at the pictures!!! I showed her a picture of what I wanted (pinkish/silver picture) and she ended up doing them completely to HER liking (red nails). I told her I wanted long nails and she proceeded to cut down my nails & said "you work in an office, you don't need long nails". Then I told her she needed to fix the shape because they were ALL crooked and she said "you see something different than me because of our angels. On my angel they look good" What?! Who says this?! Oh and the cherry on top was that it was HOT as hell in there!!! read more

I love Rose. I live in San Diego but whenever I am in Redondo area I stop in for her one of kind manicures and pedicures. I try to go once a month if I can. No one gets rid of pain like her - she specializes in so many things you can't seem to find anywhere else - she is incredible with in grown toenails. But, that's not all she's an artist and does the cutest artwork on my toes! Plus she is a genuine caring person and fun to spend time with. Another visit, another amazing fill done by Rose! Definitely recommend anyone in the area to stop by Cindy's Nails. From getting a wax, a full set, a pedi or just the works... You definitely leave her nail shop relaxed and pampered. Always call to make an appointment, and Rose will take care of you. Such a cute little nail shop here on Artesia Blvd. Prices and such are very reasonable compared to the other nail shops on Artesia Blvd. Very sanitary and welcoming compared to other shops. Cindy's Nails is a great nail place! I have been going to Lynne, one of the owners, for 25 years! She is excellent and hand paints beautiful designs on my nails! Her sister Rose does my pedicures! I kioj forward to my relaxing massages when I go there! It is a clean place and they take extra care with Covid! The inside decor is beautiful and the location is super convenient, which makes it even more disappointing. I asked for a specific nail design for the World Cup, and Tullia totally delivered. She is so sweet and detail oriented. She obviously takes pride in what she does because she was so meticulous in her work and the result exceeded my expectations. I showed her a photo of what I wanted and told her it didn't have to be exact, but she made sure it came out just like the photo and checked with me every step of the way to make sure I was happy with the progress. I don't do nails too often, usually because the choices are overwhelming sometimes, but she made the process so easy and comfortable. Salon is clean, comfortable, with free parking. Other ladies are super nice too, Jenny helped me with my pedicure. Price seemed really fair, she spent close to 2 hours on my nails, and for that much time and effort, I think it was very affordable. They have a frequent user program too, with a rewards card. I plan on coming here for all my mani/pedi moving forward. Thank you Tullia for your beautiful work!

I love that parking is plentiful. Pedicure was done with care (thanks Wendy). My gel manicure was a highlight for sure. Hanna was the best. From the jump, even the small but sweet personal gestures stood out, like her noticing me reading my Kindle and bringing over a stand to make it easier for me. The manicure itself was so well done: went from month-long scraggly claws to immaculately-shaped, perfectly-polished hands. I marveled at her care/detail: from the cuticles, to even underneath my nail (where I had noticed some bits of annoying skin prior to my arrival, which she gently clipped away). I don't usually fall for upsells but the way she thoughtfully proposed a paraffin wax for my very dry hands swayed me with minimal pressure. A $10 add-on well worth it- came with a hand/arm massage as well. Altogether less than $100 (for a level 2 pedicure and gel manicure). For the pedicure I had 2 different ladies that worked on it (switched midway through) and she ended up doing an additional coat of funny bunny and the color was outside the nail bed so she ended up using the drill to remove the access... pretty painful (,: Will I still come back? No I'm not that entitled lol Pros: great hours, decent quality and lasts long Cons: not great quality, thin out the nail bed with the drill too often, inconsistent prices

What can I say about Cindy's? Absolutely the best nail salon experience ive ever had. The two sisters that own and operate salon are the best....not only the best work but the best attitude as well and Rose, who usually does my nails will keep you in stitches the entire time. I felt very comfortable and did not have to put up with the usual innapropriate speach in a foriegn language that you just know is directed torwards you or other clientelle. read more

Cindy's Nails is a friendly(!) and reasonably priced English speaking Nail salon run by sisters. Lynn does my gel nails which last 5+ weeks and Rose my pedi with massage. Cost for both with tip is under $100. read more

Service took long. Interesting way to do the Pedicure. Your feet don't go into water until about halfway through service. Only two pedicure techs available. Polish change did not include cutting or filling nails. They charge for removal of gel polish with services, which is unsual in my experience. Terrible experience here…read more I came in to get a pedicure because I am pregnant and can't reach my feet anymore. While my left foot soaked she trimmed and filed the nails on my right foot. When it came time to switch she skipped trimming the nails on the left foot and went straight to working on cuticles. Which during that process she ripped skin off of my big toe and made me bleed. I waited to see if she would trim the nails on that side but she switched feet again and started doing cuticles on the right foot. When she was done I asked if she could trim the nails on the left foot. She turned to talk to the manager because she didn't understand what I was requesting. After some back and forth with the manager she laughed and said she already did it. She pointed to my big toe that she made bleed and said "remember?!" I let her know that she only did my cuticles but she didn't trim the nails and I would like her to do that. She again turned to the manager and had a back and forth exchange with her and then the manager told me she already did it. At this point I was feeling gaslit and upset so I just told them it's fine. They talked to eachother for a few more exchanges and then the technician laughed, and started filling the nails on my left foot and trimming more of my cuticles. This was my fourth visit over two years and every time I have had a negative experience. This was by far the worst and I will never return here again.
